AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Dual Core Processor AM2 2.6GHZ 2X1MB 65W 90NM Retail Box
Cons:None

Pros:FastPrice
Comment:
Fast CPU for the price. Quite happy with it. Though it tends to run a bit warm on my computer, even after changing the included heatsink.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Dual Core Processor AM2 2.6GHZ 2X1MB 65W 90NM Retail Box
Cons:Not as fast as intel

Pros:Fast CPU, Dual core, runs cool, cheap
Comment:
Very nice CPU. I wanted to go the AMD route to support them and because I've always liked their products ans this CPU is great. Very fast chip, will eat trough most of the things you throw at it. Not as fast as intel's core processors, but still very fast for work or play. Runs cool. Very cheap.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Dual Core Processor AM2 2.6GHZ 2X1MB 65W 90NM Retail Box
Cons:none that I can see

Pros:Fast, power efficient
Comment:
Contrary to the description, the one I received was based on the newer brisbane core (2X512 L2 cache, 65NM, 65W, 2700MHZ) and not the Windsor core (2X1024 L2 cache, 90NM, 65W, 2600MHZ). From what I can read on the internet, the performance is a bit better with the added clockspeed compare to the added cache, so I don't mind. This CPU runs cool, and it is fast enought to play any game I throw at it (with the help of a Radeon HD3850). Very good for the price. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-21-08 11:30 AM

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Dual Core Processor AM2 2.6GHZ 2X1MB 65W 90NM Retail Box
Cons:2X 512Kb

Pros:2X 2.7GHz and 65W & 65NM
Comment:
I had an athlon 64 3500+ and I upgraded to this CPU. There is a big improvement about performance. This CPU only has 2X 512Kb L2 but cores are set at 2.7GHz. I think this is good as 2X 1Mb with 2.6GHz cores speed.
