AMD Phenom X4 9650 Quad-Core Socket AM2+ Processor

As everyone else is stating, this is a ''phenominal'' cpu. For my current buying price of 129.99 and dropping all the time price, how can you argue? Clock speeds are low, but dont let that fool you, this blew apart my previous am2+ 7750 2.7ghz dual. a well worth buy for any budget tinker toy machine builder! Windows index of 5.9 |

Nice Processor!!! I have it OC'd to just below 2.7Ghz; it gets unstable at anything beyond that. This is the AM2+ processor to get if your MB doesn't supprt above a 95w processor. All-in-all I couldn't ask for much better for the price. |

Pretty good improvement from a 5000+ as far as system performance. Ghost Recon FPS went up 5-10 frames, but it seems like for Crysis its the same or worse. I expected better but i guess these are low end quads. With this CPU, a GTX 260 and 4 GB RAM i can still only get 20-30 FPS in Crysis on high i don't know what's up... |

i went from the AMD 5600+ with a vista performance rating of 5.3 in the processor catagory to a 5.9 by switching to AMD X4 phenom quad core...not bad for $160 |
a very fast CPU, runs very cool (almost cold), over all i am very happy with my move to quad core i couldn't believe the numbers i was seeing in my World in Conflict benchmark i went up 20fps!!! and Supreme Commander runs excellent when it has 4 cores to eat up
