I've had this for a tiny over 6 months now and it is operating like a dream. Quickly handles my current upgrade to a GTX 260 video card. No problems so far, and it runs my rig fine and dandy. Also, it has simple fan controls in the back which tends to make it uncomplicated to turn down at night so its close to silent. Cabling is a litte considerably, even though its easy to hide if you know how.

It looks superior, lots of fans. NOT a 680w power provide. Its more like a 520w maybe 550w. Its superior for alot of high finish systems mainly because truly, they dont need to have additional than 520 or 550 watts. Unless if they are fully loaded. This energy supply functions good for persons who dont require mroe than 550w. But when you put it in a program consuming even 600w it is faulty and the method will shut down. I purchased this for a high finish laptop or computer for a friend and its NO Great!!! Not even close to being a 680w!!! LIES!

Enough power to run what I have.Blue Neon.Looks good.Fan speed adjustment. It is from Newegg!!! As others have stated, the cables are a bit long and stiff. Why is Newegg always cheaper than everyone and have far better service and faster shipping??

I dont know what everyone is complaining about. I've had this PSU for over a year and havent had any troubles with it. Its dependable, pretty quiet (as far as PSUs go) gives plenty of power, doesnt run incredibly hot.I'm running four case fans, two cold cathodes, two 7900GS O/C'ed, DVD-Combo Drive, HDD and have not had any issues at all. The PSU looks nice too. Like the fan control knob on the back. Excellent high quality! Cable sheathing is nice. Tons of connectors (too a lot of for me) Price tag. A lot of cables to hide. I often get a PSU that is far more than I want. The PSU will hopefully last longer.

I liked it so significantly and was so satisfied with the PSU that I require a second unit for a PentD 950 to be Over Clocked. Looked at some other units with high power ratings and pretty much all have it spread out more than more than two 12 volt rails. This unit has the amperage on two rails which is what I essential.I hope this 1 is as functional as the very first unit. None so far. Very good searching and functional seems properly created and has some weight and strength in the casing

-It works properly, and runs my rig without having a glitch. What additional can I ask for?-Big 120mm fan keeps the case cooler-Fan controller is an awesome feature for if you're keeping it on performing a virus scan overnight.-Lighting is wonderful. None as far as I know. Read the Manual - stuff breaks apart if you don't.

Arrived UPS from Newegg in record time for regular shipping I installed it quickly into an Xcello case to replace a Thremaltake 420 PSU that did not have the 12v Š rail energy stability to OC a PentD 930 on an Abit AW8 MB. The unit was solidly built and there was a slight dilemma matching Upton the mounting wholes. But with all four placed in only a couple of threads it was able to pull in to the slot correctly and effortlessly. Significant bunch of cables a lot of length I only need a couple of so the rest tucked into a 5 1ǘ inch bay nicely. The power output is great and hold very stable even with the CPU OCed to 4.5gig. The added internal front panel 80mm fan works wonder on evacuating the top of the case dead spot heat. I like the style and appear of the unit as nicely asit's power. Some have complained that it is actually a 520 or 560 in disguise. That perhaps a reality but it exceeds my expectations and fulfill my power specifications and that is all that matters. None that I could think of now. I would advocate it extremely and suggest that if you have doubts about it becoming a 680 then think of it as a 600 with a back bone.

I have owned this PSU for 3 months now and not a moments trouble. I would extremely suggest. Stiff cables From critiques I have read about comparable power supplies, the cables are not near as stiff as others but they are nonetheless challenging to move where you want them.

Read the reviews before I bought (had an ANTEC Intelligent Power 500, but after performing a few wattage component calculations, decided that it would be underpowered for my proposed method) and was somewhat concerned about top quality and reliability. So far it has held up like a champ. Overclocking a Pentium D805 to three.52 GHz in an Asus P5LD2, and have 3 CD/DVD drives, six hard drives, three 80mm fans, floppy drive, GeForce 6800XT video card, Zalman 9500LED heatsink/fan, firewire card, modem. Gives lots of connectors for SATA, IDE devices. Cable lengths quite sufficient. I would certainly recommend it based on my expertise up to this point. Nice cost for a really nice PSU. Cable lengths a bit lengthy for this case. Modular cabling would be excellent. Crossing my fingers and hoping it will maintain the juice flowing as it has. Energy supplies in the  watt neighborhood normally price a lot much more.

Looks great when it ran it was fine. After a year and a half two of the units no longer commence up and when replaced with a new PSU the method boots up and runs. For the cost I paid for them they need to have run for longer than 18 months. 跌 down the tubes not a pleased consumer of Apevia. You are seeking at a former consumer. By no means once more to purchase this brand.Waiting for š to go belly up also.

The price! You cant beet a 680W psu for under 1 hundred bucks! I know your thinking if its so low-cost it ought to be garbage. Properly, you would be wrong. I read the other reviews and decided for the price I had to give it a shot. Im glad I did. This factor is amazing. No noise, no unstability, no complications at all. And im running a dual gforce 7800 GT system with three gigs of ram, thats 2x512 and 2x 1gig, not to mention three difficult drives, 2 DVDRW drives, an athlon 64 3700 and all the lights and fans that came in my case. This is a need to get in my opinion. Thinking about ive only had it a month, there have been no issues so far. So no cons here. This thing is wonderful. It looks superior, it is quiet, power galore. Whats not to like. If you get a bad 1, just RMA it and order a different.

Let me just say I initially thought I had to send the unit back, but I figured out the following:Ƒ) from the ൠ" pin major energy supply, I required to snap off the last four pins so I could fit it on to my ATX moboƒ) 1 of the 8 pin supplies also snapped in half, and from one of these halves was the other portion of the mobo energy supply I needed (i.e., NOT the extra four pins snapped off from the 24 pin supply from step ş, above) I wasted at least 45 minutes figuring this out!!!!!Immediately after that "discovery" everythings seems to be working fine I can not believe the directions would not explain how do to what I described above. I pulled my hair out for practically an hour and was ready to send the thing back to NewEgg!! all seemed to function out after a lot of unecessary time and effort that could have been avoided by some additional instructions
