Looks fairly sleek.Blue LED light is quite bright.Decently quiet. PSU failed just before I even got to the BIOS screen. This was supposed to be my 3rd develop, I was basically moving parts from my previous pc into this HTPC situation, due to the fact I was updating my make but maintaining the exact same case.I moved all the components in the case checked and rechecked all the connections ahead of powering up the thing and it dies out on me a couple seconds soon after powering up. A burning smell came from the internals of the PSU. This occurred to me about three months ago and I haven't touched it due to the fact... (went away for college), now I'm back for break and I'm gonna see if the PSU didn't destroy my other components. *** Testing ***Ideal now I have taken out the PSU from the Apevia and I'm gonna swap it with my OCZ 600W and see if I can get the BIOS to show up.****Appropriate now I don't know whether or not I'll RMA or purchase a new affordable power provide 𞷀W....I'll keep you guys updated.

Specifically what i expected. Shiny paint, black looks great with other AV gear. Seems sturdy to me. Arrived in good situation and performs nicely. Wiring inside case was all acceptable, and long. PS has a lot of connectors. I installed an ATX and it match jsut fine with complete hight cards. PWR light is a little bright. The manual could mention the hidden pwr switch. I seen that the 3V on mine seem to drop out of tolerance usually so the PS in all probability will not last extended. Acquiring the DVD door to operate appropriately can be a small difficult. I am not certain why alot of individuals are whining about it. The demensions are on the web web page. It obviously states it fits a complete sixed ATX board so how modest can it be? It is a tiny crowded inside but you need to count on that.

Case is sensible and has good feagtures. Energy supply. Very first energy supply had high voltages on the Ʊ.3V line, second made a grinding noise with the fan sparked soon after connecting the power supply tester and turning it on. If you can get the case seriously cheap and replace the power provide it could still be woth it. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA through us for the energy supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nevertheless beneath our warranty period. InexpensiveLooks nice with other AV equipment.Comes with PSU (good one particular, so far)Uses a normal ATX PSU so if it dies you'll be in a position to replace it.PSU is positioned up front so its out of the way of MB/add in cards.Fans are not as well loud.Major adequate to match my bulky graphics card. Front LED also vibrant, fixed with electrical tape. Not a ton of options for mounting HDI broke a clip for the optical drive, nevertheless holds it fine though. I've not had complications with airflow, but it only has a duel core, not overclocked or anything. The couple of cons I ran into don't warrant a -1 egg.

Fantastic deal for the cash. I noticed the cost went up a small and you need to be able to discover it for about ์I got an instant financial savings and only paid ๆ.99 absolutely free shipping.Comes with built in power supply and two fans Optional two fans not included. Not space for a ten.five inch card. Performs very good for me getting a HTPC Utilized an old mobo laying around with a undesirable pci express slot so i just put in an old 8400GS pciwith an athlon 64x2 6400 underclocked to 3.0ghz to preserve my stock fan a small quieter below full load.

The case is a excellent case for the income. Solid construct, doesn't act like its going to break although you assemble it. Other folks complain about the PS nevertheless, mine is fine. Comes with two quite quite 60mm fans in the back and a spot for 80렐 on each and every side. The blue LED power light is quite vivid. Two three.5" drive slots. Only one particular has an opening on the front. The wires get in the way a tiny on the other but its really manageable. The fans do not light up. The are clear/blue but have no lights on them. This is a plus for me. Manufacturer Response:There are actually four 3.5" drive slots Ɠ internal and 1 external). You can also set up a single on each and every of the two vents if you do not spot a fan on these sides.

Price, Total ATX, Standard Size PS, Options for fans/Hard drives, Little footprint, more than all look Power provide died inside 6 months. Clearance beneath power provide interfered with some USB ports. Broke one off when I had to change the PS! Cable management tricky. covers for DVD drives worthless and brought on opening difficulties so I removed them. Quite vivid energy lights. In fairness, it can't be smaller on the outdoors AND larger on the inside. Program to replace this case for a greater when and combine HTPC with property server. Don't take into account the PS at all when comparing rates with non-PS instances. I'll reuse this case in a non-HTPC app. Vivid energy light challenge effortlessly solved Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by us for the power provide to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nevertheless below our warranty period. Cheap! ฮ (AR + Tax) during Black Friday. Light weight. Inefficient allocation of space. We don't require Complete-ATX support, we require video card support, we need to have heatsink support. Wake up!They produced the case wide to help ATX even though truncated height and length, hence this case WILL NOT hold ANY video card with more energy connector, 4pins, 6pins, 8pins, NONE. It will also reject ANY efficiency heatsink, even the smallest 1, Cooler Master Hyper 101. The query is: who wants an ATX board with no discrete graphic card or higher overall performance heatsink? About 1% of the individuals. Yeah! How stupid can you be Apevia, seriously, use your brain. Give the board housing an inch longer and half an inch larger, make it mATX, use the space for tricky drive slots.

Comment:
Pretty big for an HTPC case. Could fit a decent-sized video card, wireless, HDD and BD drive comfortably. It's about the size of your typical receiver, so it doesn't stand out in a media center setup if you arrange things correctly. Blue energy LED was annoyingly bright. Had to file down the disc drive button to make it fit comfortably. Dual 70mm rear fans is a bit awkward. Nothing as well severe. Be gentle with the PSU. 500w is a somewhat arbitrary quantity. Constantly check the 12v rails prior to a develop and, when in doubt, get a bigger PSU.

Very good style and finish (painting and material) Horrible layout, Blue LED is loosen and hung in the middle. I fixed it with CRAZY GLUE !! They provide rail for optical device which doesn't make sence given that it doesn't hold tightly. You have to open front, leading and bottom cover to install. Opening front pannel is a pain. I have 6 other x-qpack2 which are the finest case that I ever had. I don't understand Apevia tends to make this king ofjunk case.I discovered 1 of wire and connecting pole of 24pin power cable for MOBO. I named Apevia. They said only 1 Tech help guy in the company and he is not in currently.I have to wait till tomorrow.....It is 2ᛐ EST 11ᛐ PST(They are in West)....I can't assemble till I hear this power cable is defect or not......

Integrated 500W Provide,Supports ATX or Micro ATX Mobos, can fit two five.25" Drives, Excellent cooling, Value Construction appears a little affordable, you must pick between a lot more harddrives or 120 mm fans, they use the very same slot, front LED is vivid as hell I applied this case to develop a htpc for my inlaws. It was a fantastic selection so far. You can not locate yet another case with a 500w power supply for the price tag! Looks fantastic. Individuals were proper about that front LED, it will burn a hole by means of your retina! Power provide appears adequate for Athlon x2 255 and a couple of Television tuners. Good buy. would reccommend.

Very first off, my assessment is based on a acquire price of ็ minus a ฮ rebate, creating it ษ, which is a steal.Pretty desirable design.Glossy black shell with brushed aluminum face set in a black plastic front frame.Surprisingly more than sufficient ventilation/airflow for a smaller case.Compact, but workable with complete ATX boards.Tool-less style for 5-1ǚ" drives is great.Relatively light, but rigid. ATX Power provide is 12V only, not EPS12V -beware! (no 8-pin intel power provide). Can be a royal pain with a substantial psu and a huge gpu (probably won't operate - mine had to be physically modified)Black plastic front frame will show marks effortlessly. If you get this on sale, even for ็ its a deal, but for ษ its a steal!I gave 4 stars because the power provide is outdated and incompatible, and for that reason, its not worth ๛.

Great for an HTPC / Media Center. Very inexpensive. Strong steel construction.Fits a full-size ATX mobo without having any difficulties or convoluted wire routing.I replaced the energy supply instantly with my personal OCZ power provide, fit like a charm.Somewhat quiet fans. There's an extra space for a 3.five" tricky drive on the bottom of the unit, but when installed there it gets extremely tiny airflow and as a result gets incredibly hot. I wish there was some much better ventilation in this area. They only provide a single hinging door for your 5" optical drives. I wish they would make a second accessible as an selection.Don't need to have a Firewire port, give us eSATA.Blue power LED is considerably too bright, but that's par for the course. My partner constantly insists on hitting the energy button when attempting to eject the DVD. But I feel that's user error. :-) With much better ventilation, this would be a residence run. Nonetheless, I'm 100% happy with it.Can't beat the price tag!

Handful of if any redeeming qualities other than price. Lots of sharp edges - make positive you are current on your tetanus shots. Energy provide is low cost plastic and cuts off on a program operating minimal configuration. Pop out optical drive door calls for removal of optical drive face plate. PCI expansion slot covers ought to be broken off of situation which bends up the case. I discovered the face very tough to get rid of. It's like momma often said, you get what you pay for. I do not know how anybody could give this much more than one particular egg unless they enough operating with inexpensive equipment.

Inexpensive, a lot of room blue LED is killing us. Even immediately after applying 5 coats of dark nail polish it's nonetheless bothering.Manufacturer, each single assessment says that. are you taking a Toyota's route? PSU failed soon after three weeks. I bought a new one on sale from newegg for บ additional than actual shipping would price me to RMA it. The other bad component... I have three (three) HDDs: 1.5TB, 1.5TB and 640GB for OS - fairly high-priced drives - a single failed due to high temperature. The drive bay region has poor air circulation and it requires air that already pre-mixed with hot air coming out of PSU (as PSU exhaust going to the front and reflecting from front panel back to the drive bay region. you can install further 120MM fan to cool down drives, but I put one particular of the HDD their AS Suggested BY THE MANUFACTURER!I was penny wise - dollar foolish by acquiring this situation. The superior situations expense 贄 and more, that's why they price 贄 and far more...My original review five weeks ago was five eggs. I’m changing it now back to just average.

The paint has an amazing piano finish and looks extremely good.Cooling is extremely decent and I like how they pre-punched places for fans.Incredibly nice price tag for what you get. I'm not positive about what other people thought about the PSU, but the first point I ever had a dilemma with was the place of the energy cables. The cables for the PSU come out at exactly the exact same spot as the energy connector for your GPU (Not sure if everyone would have this situation but I'm utilizing an older Geforce 6800 and it's smaller than most cards these days) Don't use older IDE cables. They're a pain in just about each and every tower but specially this a single.

Expense Hidden power switch, manual has no info on energy supply. It's good that it came with energy provide. But be aware that the energy switch is hidden underneath the front cover, and it's positive came switched off. The worse portion is the manual doesn't have any information on the energy provide.I received the situation and wanted to test it with just CPU, memory and video card (didn't place in any cd/DVD rom). Virtually gave up soon after trying diverse things - absolutely nothing moved. Thought got a dead motherboard. I've had this situation for three months now and haven't had any issues with it. It's a large case, substantially bigger than most other HTPC instances so it does permit room for a full ATX mobo.Lots of room inside, added a fan to one of the sides of the situation so almost everything in the case stays great and cool. The size of the case makes it so that theres ample airflow.Rebate came in three months right after acquire so the soon after rebate cost was really affordable.Comes with a PSU-I swapped an Antec PSU in so I can't actually comment on the stock PSU. I was able to sell the stock a single even though for a handful of dollars to aid lower the price tag of the case. Again, this is a huge situation. So big I wouldn't really consider it an HTPC situation. The only big negative was the size of the situation but other than that it's a excellent quality situation, especially if you get it with a rebate.

The power provide shipped has only one SATA power rail (only fantastic for two SATA devices).Make confident you get straight SATA cables and not the bent SATA cables. Like I stated, this case is cramped and bent SATA cables will cause some clearance troubles. still worth the cash!
