Bought this as a replacement for the PSU that came with my case. So far it has been operating rock solid and I have not had any problems so far. The LEDs are sweet and having three colors to decide on from is cool. Definetly not a best of the line PSU but it gets the job carried out. I rated it typical mainly because I have but to receive a rebate. From the critiques numerous folks also have not received rebates, and it seems that this is a difficulty with aspire. I have owned this for just about 2 years and it has worked flawlessly. It was a fairly inexpensive PSU for the number of wats when i bought it but i also bought it since it was clear and had lights and cable sleeves. The knob that slows and speeds up the fans on it quit operating and are stuck on high. not an issue for me as my Computer is loud and i usually play music. I've been running this because three񳏇 and started running 3870 Crossfire about 6 months ago and still operating robust, no difficulties. Was trying out a GTX280 and as 1 would suspect it's not going to be great for it in the extended run. CoD4 (wǚxAA) causes a power down reboot following about an hour. Crysis and TF2 surprisingly doesn't have troubles but a monster card like this is obviously pushing it tough. It's been a wonderful PSU and is nonetheless running powerful, just not going to cut it for the most recent GPUs (which stands to reason for a PSU that's been around for this lengthy). Beautiful power provide, worked well although it lasted. It died in much less than two years right after I bought it. I was truly out of the country for 11 months and hardly utilized the pc that carried this PSU. Shortly immediately after I came back, I was in a position to start off the laptop or computer a few occasions ahead of it just died. I was hoping it was the motherboard (which is about 7 years old) but my brother just attempted yet another PSU and the pc came on without a dilemma. What a waste.

Very nicely built, Has been running my 1 year old gaming rig with no any complications. The lights and window are a real treat. Cables aren't affordable and are wrapped really nicely to maximize airflow. None I can believe of. Has worked flawless ever since obtain. Highly advise with no difficulties following over a year of heavy gaming.

Looks good in any case! Has quite a few power connectors for a wide range of supported addons for the pc. None Some people today say it is big but it is a standard power supply size, not pr a micro tower at all. Will fit mid to full size towers fine.

This is an exceptional psu. Tons of power for your components and looks good too. 3 selectable LED colors make this coolest searching psu out there. worked great for a whilst don't use the laptop or computer perhaps as soon as or twice a month. Atleast it was obvious why pc wouldn't begin soon after the puff of smoke.( Lot of flash) by no means definitely believed about it but had issues with blue screen popping up and following 3 years all i did was turn on the energy switch and poof a ball of smoke filling up the room with stench from the fried plastic.( But alot of smoke too) If I this company they should be selling a better item. Specifically If they want my business. 1 year warranty please they don't even stand behind there item. Looking at corsair for my next power supply, they have a 5 year warranty.

oohh - fairly lights! This and my previous comparable aspire p.s. crapped out in below a year. Taking it out of the case I see a warped circuit board with low-cost lumpy 1950's hongkong transitor radio soldering "techniques". Ought to have learned my lesson just before I purchased this as the prior aspire model also took out my motherboard. yes it looks cool, like a siren beckoning you in. But I can't recommend this line of power supplies anymore. appear at some thing else. If you get one look at the soldering job below the circuit board. Do you think it's lumpy enough? positive isn't mil spec. or even detroit automotive high quality.

It works and the colors are nice too. Looks nice If you turn your pc off, and turn it back on, the color resets to blue. It is incredibly loud and it gets dirty quick. So it would not stay fairly for a long time. you have to clean it witch means function. I guess that at a fan screen will stop some of the dirt from going in, I did it trust me. But this makes it even louder. If you do the same make certain to clean it regularly. Also the power supply is a small bigger that your ordinary energy supply so it will necessary a small added function to get it in your case. I am getting an additional power supply, since I worked so difficult to get my pc to a low pitch and this energy supply is making all of my difficult work go to waist.

whoooo shiny. 1. the button that controls the lights of the fans should be a turn switch.two. the fan manage is good, but i identified that there genuinely is no difference between high and low.3. i notice that the only thing that is holding this power supply in is 3 screws. Yes there is four screws holes but my case is diverse. i have a clear acrylic Logisys case. These also indicates that i could not use the screws that came witht he power supply. Lucky for me i got some screws that came with the case. But there is about half an inch inbetween my case and the energy supply. Its truly good.

Wonderful psu, u can control the fan speed, which mine is allway all the way up, not to noisy, the two 80mm fans in the psu can change to blue, red, and green, i like the blue much better so it says on for the complete time, ifyou dont want the lighs, you can just turn it off with the fans will still work just fine.The cost is awsome for this 680watt, that can power up numerous items at as soon as!! The firt time i got it, it was RMA;the unit turned on, but the fan and the lights in no way worked,nicely, at 1 point you know somenting is not appropriate and nothing is perfect, two weeks immediately after got a different one, hook it up and it worked just fine, i dont look at this a con, but thats wut i think fantastic for who have trasparent situations, so u can see the unit and admire the lights at night!!!
