Great energy usage, plenty of space for overclocking with a good "aftermarket" heatsink/cooler that rivals the likes of MSI/Gigabyte. Merely put: a excellent card. Consistently scores 2000+ in CPU Benchmark tests under high performance video cards, a deciding element in deciding on it over similarly priced Radeon cards. At the time, Das Egg was running a number of shipping & promo-code discounts, producing it impossible to pass up.Packaging was the ideal I’ve ever observed; it was literally a joy to unwrap. The rebate procedure has been flawless.Frame rates for WoW and Team Fortress two are high; WoW is consistently in the upper 50s in raids and peak hours on high-pop servers, at ultra settings, 1440 x 900 wide resolution with high filtering and multisampling. However, WoW is much more of a CPU hog than a VGA hog. None. Energy requirements were minimal; for the first 30 days, it ran just fine on a 380w PSU, but I’ve given that upped to a 550w psu. Below full load, temps average 55 C. It’s very quiet, but this method is tucked into a nicely-ventilated hutch and also applied as an HTPC. For what it’s worth, it took my Windows 7 -bit) to 7.. Again, a excellent card for light gaming/light HTPC use. I couldn’t be happier.System (till my New Year's upgrade)Acer e380 (standard locked mobo)This VGAfour x 1 gigs G.Skill 800 DDR2 (Quad Channel)AMD 125w 6000+Seasonic 560w PSUWindows 7 64-bit320grpm HDD |

Runs Cool, this is literally the only pro if you're going to go SLI Comes with 6-pin PCIE power adapter even though the card calls for two (BAD for SLI users)SLI Performance is worse than single card efficiency due to some as-of-however unknown issue Exactly where to start off? The card comes with 1 PCIE power adapter when you want two per card, with SLI this is a major challenge. Even though I'm a huge geek/PC repair guy professionally I am having huge issues with this card in SLI. If I have 1 card in, performance is wonderful, once I go SLI the performance overall is worse then if I only had 1 card in.I've tried every thing, complete driver wipe and install with each the ASUS and nVidia generic drivers. I've tried all sorts of different configurations. I made positive power was sufficient and there wasnt a CPU bottleneck. I really have tried every thing, and SLI performance on these cards is just garbage. Most of my hardware is ASUS, and I thought they had been seriously trustworthy.I will in no way recomment ASUS to anyone right after this. And to assume I used to be somewhat of an asus fanboy. |

Just an update; got my rebate currently - a debit card - ahead of when they told me to anticipate it. I asked for a cheque, but they sent me the card. Meh. 20 bucks is 20 bucks. Amazing video card for my program, painless rebate that delivered on its promise. |

Purchase this, it's OC'd further than a GTX 470 can ever go. But don't go more than 1080p res with the 786mb. |

Nice Video card uses small power. Plays Black Ops fine on lower settings. Very good funds for performance ratio. Strangely I had to use older Nvidia drivers to get it operating without having directx errors. But thats a Nvidia driver dilemma not an asus concern. Not a 560 Si but its cheaper. |

Excellent worth, high efficiency card. Do not count on the rebate offer. It takes an exorbitant amount of time to total the paperwork, the directions are convoluted, and they will charge you a two dollar "mailing fee" if you want to get your Visa Debit Card (yes, that's the rebate) mailed within five-7 days rather of the 8-10 weeks they will take to send it for cost-free. I'm not typically the kind of person who complains about rebates, but this 1 was pretty blatantly trying to guarantee that you wouldn't get the full promised amount. Overall, I would nonetheless advocate this item, due to the fact even without the rebate, it is a great deal. |

Runs cool ࿃'C idle), 'C load) in an Aerocool M40 case. Superb packaging. None so far, but card height may be a problem for some instances. Card is larger than they seem in images. I purchased this card for a new develop with a Aerocool M40 case. This case could be considered an SFF with a limitation on card height. I took a threat with this card, uncertain if it would fit. It turns out, it just barely does. The heatpipes on top do make physical contact with the upper deck floor of the case, as well as the harddrive cage, but it will fit. I was concerned this contact would have an effect on the difficult drive temperatures, but thankfully it does not (HDD has not exceeded 38'C). Note that the 1GB version of this card has a distinct heatpipe style which would absolutely not fit in the M40. |

And I detest chasing after businesses for rebates. I'm not operating mine in SLi, so I can't comment on the concerns people are getting, but by itself, the card is excellent. |

No trouble from Newegg, they simpley let me return it. It was DOA form the get started and I knew proper then I must have spent a few bucks a lot more for a superior brand. It came with dvi converter, molex to 6pin connecter converter, and dvi to hmdi converter. Overall really please with my purchase. Excellent Job ASUS! Would have liked the card to come with 1GB instead of 768MB but I guess it was for cost saving measures. |

this card plays all my games at good good quality and decent framerates. it's quiet, cool, and sips energy at idle. i haven't but overclocked it, but it comes bundled with smartdoctor, a tool that you can overvolt it with for higher chip speed. nice a DVI port died on me, and as this was a birthday present from my folks, the UPC label had already been cut out for the mail in rebate. hopefully the other port stays in working order or i'll be upset. the port thing is in all probability just my bad luck. all the tech web sites had been pretty impressed with this card, and i am too, except for the dead port. |

Considerably smaller than the GTX260 it replaced. Runs cooler, quieter, and ideal fit for my Lian-li Mini-itx case. My idle temperatures for this card hover at: 32-34C with my temperature in my room at 24C. My old GTX260 idled at about 42C with the fan at 50%. One of my biggest issues with this card is the reality that when you do game or even watch a series of videos, the fan can kick up in speed, and once its passes that 45C threshold the fan gets annoying loud. Absolutely nothing a set of headphones or turning up the sound system can't fix though. Just wish they could've created a quieter fan at higher speeds. For the cost, it's a great deal. 财 following rebate is a stellar deal, and if you're looking to upgrade your card from an older video card and not seeking to drop an arm and a leg, it's absolutely something to take a appear at :). |

Really quick card. Played COD Blackops just about max. minuus only 4x AA. Overall for the cost its an incredible card. I upgraded from a 9800gtx and wow what a difference. DX11 Amazing Immediately after owning it for only 6 weeks It has began Crashing and tearing so badly I can not see the screen. Would have to restart COD quite a few times to get a full level played. Also began acquiring hotter quicker. In no way OCed never necessary to. I feel maybe I just got a bum card. Am attempting to deal with ASUS now and so a great deal for their 48hr response policy. Have not heard from them. Tried returning to NEWEGG nevertheless, it has been over 30 days. Approximately 44 days and that is out of the return policy for newegg. Cant wait to get the RMA taken care of to continue playing. I miss my card already. :-) |

I dropped this into my new Ubuntu rig, and boy was it an upgrade. My prior video card was a 19 do11ar x700. Plays cs: source in wine like a champ 1920x1080. Able to play ut3 and TF2 at 1080p as well. Able to Max out practically almost everything. I was unable to play any of these in Ubuntu with my prior setup. Also, I haven't noticed any temperature issues, which is excellent. No real cons to mention. (fingers crossed) Make positive you get the perfect energy supply. It takes two power connections, but it does come with a power adapter if you only have 1. two 6pin kind connectors. The card is major. Do your homework just before you acquire. I definitely advise this item. It gets the job done, and does it in style. Thank you newegg, and thank you Asus. Thinking about purchasing SCII or CoDBlackOps to see how much i can squeeze from this factor. Its a great card and runs most if not all of my games on high. It nonetheless isn't excellent... refer to cons. Nicely following about two months it started showing graphic artifacts. After about 2 days of just being frustrated and not wanting so spend much more money I took the heat sink off and cleaned both the nvidia chip and heat sink with a few cotton balls and alcohol rub. "I recomend 90 percent Alcohol, it dries faster" and then I places thermal compound "I recomend artic silver 5, its what I use on my cpu heat sinks" I replaced the parts and so far so excellent. Its worth the money and you may possibly not have the issues I had but if you do its a easy fix and shouldnt price a lot more than 10 bucks....the thermal paste is what price so considerably. |
