It was a welcome upgrade to my "old" motherboard. I purchased this MB/CPU combo since my older MB crapped out and I couldn't locate a newer MB to go with my nonetheless ever dependable older CPU. HDMI Audio doesnt function. Video is fine. Exciting board, lots of video options hunting to use it to move my AMD quad and other parts to a newer smaller sized box DOA. Mobo begins and runs approx 1 minute then reboots and no video, no nothing. After that occurs it does absolutely nothing far more than energy fans, absolutely nothing else. As usual, no nasty surprises from ASUS... this board worked perfectly out of the box. ASUS BIOS is a piece of cake to setup, need to you want to adjust factory settings for any cause.
