Great mobo!!
Comment:
I bought this as a package deal with the E7500 Core 2 Duo, and am amazed at the performance I get out of it!! I was hoping it to be a full ATX, but I will deal with this for a year or so then upgrade to a full ATX with a quad or something!!

Easy setup, but failed after 5 weeks
Comment:
I put a E8200 in it and 4 gigs of ram. Then it ran thru Win7 64 setup like a champ. A homerun ! After 5 weeks it blackscreened and it hasn't run since. It had all the features and speed that I had expected but do I risk my time on another ?

A crappy board. I really wanted to try out a board by Asus, but I was disappointed by this one. The RJ-45 port was dead out of the box. I guess Asus boards under $100 are crappy. I had to re-order a MSI board...Oh yeah the board by MSI has two RJ-45 ports.

ASUS P5G41-M LE/CSM Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:- only 2 memory sockets (DDR2)- very limited overclocking configuration options- only 4 USB ports- basic audio output

Pros:- small footprint- cost efficient(integrated video)- 1Gbit NIC
Comment:
This board has a fairly specific target - those wanting a cost effective board for productivity (akk non-gaming) applications. The integrated Intel GMA 4500 graphics works fine for Aero in Vista/Win7. Has both a VGA & DMI video outputs. The Intel G41 Express chipset is fine for productivity apps but if you have overclocking in mind, look at the more capable & expensive boards. There are only 4 USB ports which is too few. There are two headers on the board for an additional 4 ports however you must rely on your case to provide these. Asus should have included a backplane with additional USB ports. I bought this board for a PC that will spend its life running a Q8200 (quad core), Windows 7 and productivity apps (Office, email, internet browsing etc) - it will never play a game. For this, it fits the need. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-31-09 10:34 AM

Good MB for the cost
Comment:
This company usually makes solid MBs and this is no exception. Though not the top of the line by any regards, it fill is low-med end role very well offering on board video and sound, for an easy bare-bones install. Good upgradability and very reliable.
