I've tried updating bios adding a bigger power supply updating drivers everything. It just won't work. Buyer beware on this board.

OCZ SLI 4096MB PC6400 DDR2Doesn't work in my P5N-T Deluxe mobo (780i). Usually won't make it to the BIOS setup. Instead, it freezes and causes random dots to be drawn on the display. The memory is seated well and is sometimes recognized by the BIOS; has even booted into Windows a couple of times. Makes it appear as if there is a problem with the boot drive, when installed, but just replacing it with the original generic (budget) memory solves all the problems. There seems to be some quality control problems with this RAM, since some people report that it works great for them, while others find it either DOA or misbehaving. This product has been frustrating, wasting days of debugging, since it does something to the BIOS' ability to see the disk drives, sometimes making them unreadable, sometimes just preventing Windows from booting. Maybe the timings are just off in the BIOS, but the BIOS hangs before they can be set when this RAM is installed.

After debugging booting issues and hard-drive failures for several days, swapped this memory out for the original memory. No more problems. This memory was causing all the other issues, including conflicts with the BIOS.

OCZ SLI 4096MB PC6400 DDR2Don't know if this RAM is good or not. It does not work in my MSI 975X Platinum MB. I tried all clock and voltage settings and the MB will not even post with these installed. This may or may not be my fault, but word to anyone else that has the MSI 975X MB.

OCZ SLI 4096MB PC6400 DDR2The best money I've ever spent! Though 'gizmo's review is correct. In order to get the 5-4-4-15 timing, you do have to manually set it. Even so, it runs great with no errors, and it is fast and effective. And unlike other 'cheap' RAM, the timings on this one actually tests accurately. Though that might not mean a lot if you are just getting RAM to have RAM, it means it's much more reliable than getting some budget chips from a 'memory only site' for the same price, even at a discount.

Just so you know, you can't use more than 4GB of ram on a 32-bit OS. It limits the amount you can use. I found that out the hard way. Other than that, this is probably the best deal out there!

Just note, I was under the impression that my ''SLI'' ready board would be able to run these at 1200mhz because they are SLI ready, but the bios right away indicates that the SLI ready can't work with all 4 slots populated. Still, it's a great deal and it's nice knowing I'm working with 8 gigs!

We both have had nothing but problems, and we both have returned these boards and ordered something else. My system wouldn't even stay on long enough to get into the bios. his was a little better but not much. support from asus sucked too. From reading forums, we aren't the only ones with similar problems.

OCZ SLI 4096MB PC6400 DDR2Running 8 gigs of these at 1000 MHz (992 actual)on EVGA 680i AR with 2 8800 GTS 512 G92s in SLI with a Q6600 OC'd to 3.0 and Vista 64 No overvolting and stock timings. It's cheap because DDR3 is out now. FEAR 2 max setings at 1920 X 1200 at 50 FPS. MEMTEST ran 3 passes with no errors. Great cheap memory. It's only SLI ready with 2 sticks not 4.

My other bars were 667 mhz and gave me so much Blue Screen when I overclocked em. I've got two other friends that bough this ram too, no problem, no return, just best thing you could buy!

Nothing too much to say about it except that I wish it had 1 more USB header, supported ram that was a little bit faster, and I guess that 1 IDE header is the norm for newer motherboards now... It seems to work fine however. just make sure not to use all the updates that Windows Updates shows (such as memory controller) or it will cause BSOD. I found that out the hard way.

I built a new Quad Core Intel system off a 780i MB, 2 gigs of this ram, a 8800GTS 512, and a 600w Ultra PSW, and it will handle ANY, let me repeat, ANY video game at max resolution and options, and I never dip below 30fps. Crysis, WOW, NFS UC, Mirrors Edge, End War, Red Alert, UT3 - This memory is very fast, and I haven't even touched the over clocking on it yet. I have no idea why it is so cheap, but I am not complaining! I paid $40 for 2 gigs a few months ago, and I am buying another 4gigs right now - I suggest you do the same!
