ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:no firewire, esata
Pros:quality, good chipset Comment:
this is a very good motherboard for mainstream users. It has lots of option in bios for overclocking. My only complain is it does not come with on board firewire or esata ports. |

ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:No firewire, chipset temps
Pros:Price, stability Comment:
A great mobo for the price - if you know that you don't need Crossfire or SLi and aren't going for a crazy overclock then this is for you. Stable and easy to set up, I haven't had a single issue from the first moment I powered up. |

ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Only one PCIE16 slot, but for the price you can't really go wrong. (No SLI in the future?)
Pros:One PCIE16 slot, has 1333 FSB, goes up to 1600 FSB- what's not to like at this price? Comment:
Got this with an E8400 processor, runs real smooth. It seems to have asus expressgate, haven't checked that out yet (not really useful to me booting up with such a basic OS) but some may find it useful |

ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons: Compatablilty issues with some older graphics cards, only one pci-e slot
Pros: Price, Technology is up to date, components are high quality, integrated sound is excellent, good for overclocking Comment:
Overall, this is a very good motherboard for the price. it has a pci-e 2.0 slot, which is great considering the price. it also has support for quad-core cpu's, which makes this a good buy if you plan on doing further cpu upgrades in the future. contrary to what someone else, this mobo does a great job of overclocking. i oc'd my e7200 from 2.53ghz to 3.18 with ease, and i could go higher. the sound quality from the build it hd audio is very good. The only problem i encountred with this mobo is when i tried installing my 8600GT in it, my computer wouldn't boot, the gpu wasn't being detected. after doing some research, it turns out lots of people have had this problem, and it's not specific to my particular mobo. it's the asus p5q series that has this problem. i put in a ancient ati x300, and it worked, and i eventually replaced that with a ati hd3650. overall, very good mobo, would buy again. ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:A little cluttered around CPU and USB portsCould use another fan header
Pros:Great featuresFast and StableQ ConnectorAsus Express Gate Comment:
This board is an excellent bargain for those looking for a reliable system. It is feature rich and was well designed. The manual is well written and the Q Connector is a god send for hooking the front panel LED's and switches.Once all is said and done however, there are two areas of concern. The areas around the CPU and the USB ports are pretty cluttered so good cable management is a must. The Asus Express gate is a neat feature although somewhat redundant due to how fast the OS bootsThe BIOS is simple. I would not recommend OC'ing this board.I strongly recommend this board to those who are looking to build a fast stable system and not looking to overclock. Would definitely buy again. |

ASUS P5QL PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:none
Pros:AffordableInstallation is a breeze Comment:
Great motherboard haven't had any problems, Great motherboard for the price and incorporates pretty much all the technologies ASUS has to offer |
All in all, this is a very good board with a lot of features with one big weakness being the placement with the ATX power connector. If you are using any of the Seasonic OEM PSU, you will surely have cable problems. For others, you will have the big cable obstructing the system airflow. But really, other than that, this board is cheap and stable.
