I ordered this here and it got to me at a APO address in 7 days!! This motherbroad was a great buy and easy to set up! All 12 GiG's showed in BiO's and in 64 bit Vista. No problems during set up and CPU is running great. Nice and cool w/o overclocking the chip. I would recommed this as a great broad to build off of. Running 4 HDD and 1 Soild state drive with a ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2. Windows is loaded and ready to go in 20 seconds from power on! Thanks for the oustanding DEAL!!! |

This board rocks! Made for a easy, pain free build. All 12gig of ram showing in bio's and 64 ult. Using a slightly oc'ed i7 920 and a Egva gtx 295 im getting 20050 score in 3d mark vantage. |

I'm using this for a video editing system. 12G Ram, 2TB Raid 0+1, Vista HP 64. The only problem was getting the OS to load on the RAID. Tried several drivers from Intel site but Vista refused to reconize the RAID even though it displayed it as a drive. I installed the OS on a seperate IDE 200G drive and then the OS installed without a hitch onto the RAID. I'm not sure why but it worked. The good news is that this board along with the i7 processor is blazing FAST! If you have ever rendered a multicamera video then you will understand these results. 1Hr video render time for a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo w/4G ram and single SATA drive is about six hours. With this system it took less than ONE HOUR! That is smokin'! |

I highly recommend this motherboard for anyone looking to step-up into the LGA 1366 socket. The mobo has both LGA 775 and 1366 CPU bracket holes so you do not need to get a new after market cooler. The limit of 12 Gigs, and the extra onboard cooling is not worth the extra $70 if you do not plan on going above 12 gigs, and do not plan on *crazy* over clocking. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. |

So far so good. Day 2 after new build and it is working great. 12G of ram is installed and recognized. Easily configurable with a lot of options. Express Gate looks like it may be nice, but I disabled to cut to the chase and load my OS. This board looks good with a windowed case and lighting. Another quality Asus product. |

I would seriously reconsider this board if you plan to run a 12GB system. One of the memory controllers is bad (3rd bank, 2nd (black) slot). Upgrading to the latest BIOS (released March 2009) did not resolve the issue. After a brief conversation with ASUS tech support it appears it's a known issue w/ 12GB and this particular board. It would only initially POST w/ 3GB loaded as I had to flash the BIOS for extra memory support. Thought about RMA but, after reading other online forums/blogs, it appears I would be in the same boat with a new board. It runs great w/ 10GB loaded however! ExpressGate is awesome, loads in seconds! |

I bought this as part of a bare-bones. It was easy to install. And recognizes all 12 GB of RAM. I find express gate is great option to have. Upgrading the bios was a piece a cake. I would recommend this board to my friends.
