ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Driver issues
Pros:Cheap, reliable Comment:
Built up my sytem with 16 gigs corsair dominator, I7 3770, 120 ssd, and a 570gtx hd. I can play skyrim almost maxed out. I installed windows 8 and it runs very fast and smooth. The only thing I don't really get is some of the driver updates and firmware seem to be incompatible. I stopped trying, but I haven't noticed any problems. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:very few extras in the box
Pros:Cheap Z77 Platform Comment:
This board was easy to install, and seems to have all the features my customer wanted. I did very little overclocking with it, but I was able to get the i5 2500k stable at 4.2ghz. All in all I would use this again for a budget build that might want overclocking. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Can't charge phones when turned off, not enough USB 3.0 ports to be future-proof
Pros:Z77 chipset, LED indicators for troubleshooting Comment:
A very good motherboard for most users, but definitely not quite enough for extreme enthusiasts. There is enough PCIe for Crossfire/SLI, but doing that will cost you access to all the other PCI slots. Other than that, I think this motherboard is really solid and price-effective. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Had problems with the first boot, probably due to a wrong voltage assigned to ram sticks.
Pros:Good for the price and stable Comment:
This is a good valued motherboard. I am still experimenting with the overclocking but so far i am very happy with this choice. There was one problem during the first boot where i had installed 2x 4gig of rams in the blue slots and the system would shut down after 5 seconds. The system finaly booted after installing one stick in the secondary slots and the bios indicated that it used the rams with 1.65volts instead of 1.5volts.Everything worked fine after we changed that setting. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:SATA ports facing to the side, cannot use right angled cable at all!
Pros:Asus AI Suite II is great! Nice BIOs UI! Nice build quality! Comment:
Whenever you want to buy a motherboard, consider ASUS first! They are just so good at making motherboards.Just that remember that it only has 1 CPU fan port and 3 CHASIS fan ports. If you have more fans, you can only connect them directly to the power supply. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:For the price, none; but it only came with 2 SATA 6Gb/s cables and an SLI bridge
Pros:ASUS quality & features Comment:
I'm a big fan of ASUS mobos and this one does nothing to make me change my mind. Love the UEFI BIOS. Getting my new system assembled and running was a breeze. Flashing BIOS is so simple. Dare I say foolproof? Decent over clocking features but more expensive boards are better suited to serious over clocking. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:- Looks cheap- Not enough SATA3 ports and too many SATA2 ports
Pros:- Inexpensive- Z77 Chipset Comment:
I used to have an Asus P5EWS-Pro and I must admit, I liked my older one better. There is a huge lack of SATA3 ports. Not much features on the back panel. The design looks much cheaper than my older one(my old one had huge copper heat syncs). On the good sides, it's a pretty cheap mobo and you get the Z77 chipset so you can put the all new ivy bridge processors like the i5 3570k or 3770k.All in all, it's a good mobo, but you should save a bit and get a PRO version. |

ASUS P8Z77-V Lk ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 DVI HDMI DP USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:No eSata.
Pros:Feature rich. Comment:
This board has a lot of features for the price. Back panel digital audio and plenty of USB 3.0 ports is great. All the video output bases are covered. With all the great back panel IO it's unfortunate there is no eSata port, but the USB 3.0 ports make that not much of an issue. The graphical BIOS inteface is quite nice. The overclocking/tweaking options look quite good. |

Will buy again if build new system, all features needed for entertainment desktop. if needed can install higher end video card for gaming use. Not compatible with Patriot Ram, When post, system turns on and off every 2 seconds, finally realize that ram not compatible, read the manual find out that ram bought not is the compatible list, Replace with another pair of Kingston Ram, everyting works fine.
