From when I got it of the box, to now I just can't stop watching it. Sometimes I even open my side panel to check it out. IT IS SO COOL LOOKING! If your into aesthetics and getting something like an Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, the color scheme is AWESOME. The board has everything a High-End Z77 should offer + Awesome looks.

Comment:
The board looks sooo good. Keeps everything in the tower looking neat and clean. It has all the greatest and latest features that a mobo should have.My annoyances with this board come straight from the gimmicky assist fans. They honestly probably don't make much of a difference, if any at all, in temps. But what really bugs me about them is the high pitched sound they make when they spin. You will notice it when you pay close enough attention. I just turned mine off when temps are cooler and have it turn on when there is more heat so they are less noticeable.Overall, I love this board. Highly recommended. It is sold at a higher price point because of these gimmicky features so if you feel you don't need it, go with another board!

Cons:Got a dud (DOA) on first order (known issue affecting many owners)

Pros:Stylish, intelligently designed and crafted, Thermal Armor (plastic) is resistant and looks great.
Comment:
The ASUS Sabertooth Z77 is the most stylish motherboard I've ever had the pleasure of working with. From the moment you remove it from its anti-static bag, you'll be gawking hard. This board should make any build look high-end.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SATA3 HDMI DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:-Audio outputs cannot be retasked (A feature I had on my previous board). Not sure if this is a software or hardware limitation.-The screws of small plastic covers where you mount the thermal armor fans were glued/stuck and very difficult to get out. (Had to use an electric impact gun to get the 4 tiny screws loose, no joke!)

Pros:-The plastic thermal armor cover looks great in any system.-Does all that is advertised.-Great motherboard all around!

I'm very happy with the features and aesthetics of this board.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SATA3 HDMI DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:Have to buy a seperate card for thunderbolt.

Pros:Thermal armor.Cooling fans.Esthetic. It looks great with the armor!Ports, fan headers positioning etc, everything is perfect.Dust covers are great to keep dust out of slots and keep the board clean for great look.
Comment:
Bought this to go along with my 3770K and it's simply the most amazing board I ever purchased. It looks great, it has tons of feature, everything is so well positioned. The only down side, is you have to buy a seperate add-on card for thunderbolt support, so if you have such devices, it's gonna cost extras, if not then, it's pretty much perfect.Mine came with the latest bios at the time of writing this, the new update  supports for more memory, like 2133 mhz which isn't mentioned on the product specs. So for those wondering, my 2133 Gskill memory posted perfect, some people were saying it doesn't support it but it does.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SATA3 HDMI DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:- Slightly expensive.- Does not have onboard WiFi.

Pros:- Looks clean and minimal.- Z77 chipset compatible with Ivy Bridge.- Good spacing of 2 primary PCIe slots.- Rock solid board.- 4xUSB3.0 ports and 4xSATA 6Gb/s ports.
Comment:
Bought this to go along with my Core i5-3570K. Been impressed with the build quality of this board - it's rock solid with very little bending at all, even when pressed. Thermal Armor gives a mean look to the board, but its also clean and minimal which is what I like.ASUS added extra USB3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s ports using third party controllers and it's very much appreciated. The only downside is no onboard WiFi. True that many enthusiasts shun WiFi for gaming, but some people just doesn't have the luxury of having an ethernet cable right where the PC sits.

Cons:Bit expensive.some of the sata ports do not support cd/dvd/blue-ray drives

Pros:LooksPerformance7/9FAN HEADERS (2 for thermal armor)USB 3.090 degree connectorsSATA 6GB/sBios options-Virtu MVP-bios flashbackDust coversso many more things
Comment:
From the moment I took this out of the box I was in love. This thing looks awesome and performs even better. Besides all the cooling stuff (that actually does work), the most impressive feature that i have been able to try out is the "VIRTU MVP" feature. It allows your iGPU on a sandybridge/ivybridge to with with your dedicated GPU in much the same way as SLI or Crossfire does. I did some quick tests on a stock speed 3570k and in 3dmark vantage i get a 33% increase, 3dmark11 gets a 30% overall increase and a 40% gfx score increase. Pretty good stuff.I have not been able to test if this also work while having cards in SLI/x-fire, I would presume not.Anything you can think of in the bios is adjustable from the individual phase-controlers to ram timings, voltages for absolutly everthing, and of course frequencies/multipliers. Using the mouse in the bios is a bit wierd but I can get used to that i guess ;)Overall not to much to complain about other than the instructions telling you to installing the back-pannel fan to blow into the case, I set it up to exhaust out the back.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SATA3 HDMI DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:-None

Pros:-AI Suite II + all accompanying software (Thermal Radar...)-Thermal Armor-Dust Covers-5 year Warranty-This goes with the suite but level of control provided over RPM of the fans in your case.
Comment:
This is a simply stunning board that is solidly built. The thermal radar looks awesome and the dust covers are great. For the person that likes a tidy system you don't get much more tidy than this. The software offers a great amount of control over the fans in your case to dynamically control the temps on your board. The user defined fan speed setting are very cool as it can take into account up to 3 different board sensor temps to modulate a specific fans RPM. Trusting the sensors, it says the asst fans run at ~3500-4000 RPM which can be tweaked up or down. If the bearings are good quality they will last if not........ a fear a quick death. Overtime is a cool feature as well. All around great board!

It is a very very great M/B and I helped my friend who brought this build his PC. It has a lot of good features like having two little fan for cooling. Also, it looks cool :DHowever, it is hard to mount this M/B on the case and it takes time to do so.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ATX LGA1155 DDR3 SLI 3PCI-E16 4PCI-E1 SATA3 HDMI DisplayPort USB3.0 Motherboard
Cons:As time goes I wonder if there will be collection of dust clusters underneath the "armour" at small gaps between motherboard components induced by always same direction of constant air flow eventualy creating a choke points. Not being able to see components because of the cover not too comfortable... We will see.

Pros:Looks and feels solid. Slot dust covers. Very nice bios with tons of tweaks. Lots of sensors in particular to system temperature monitoring and control. Z77 for my new Ivy is a pleasant sight. 5 year warranty

Recommended. I'm simply floored by the improvements made in motherboards in 4 years from what I've seen with this.

Cons:- Some people may not like the small fans, but I haven't had a problem with them

Pros:+ Looks amazing+ Rock-solid stability+ BIOS GUI is nice :P+ Carries the ASUS brand+ Decently priced for such a feature rich board
Comment:
So far I haven't had any problems with this board. It blends in perfectly with the rest of my case and is quite eye-catching. X.M.P. worked well, but I haven't had a chance to OC the CPU ridiculous amounts :P For a Z77 chipset board, I think this is the best you can get.

Cons:-included assist fans are not the very quiet-the utility program included on disc constantly pops up memory access violation dialog; had to grab the newest from ASUS site

Pros:-the mobo cover is great
Comment:
overall good mobo with lots of functionality. Some of the features can be controlled with the included utilities from within windows (fan speed can be changed, whole mobo temperature monitoring, and other features)Nitpicks:- the two small assist fans for the motherboard are not loud but emits annoying high pitch noise and I ended up disabling them in setting (doesn't affect mobo temperature that much if your case have good airflow)-the utility program included on disc constantly pops up memory access violation dialog; had to grab the newest version from ASUS site

I swapped from a P8Z68 to this Sabertooth motherboard and I love it. Going with a Corsair 800D case this time around, I wanted to move away from the P77 blue motherboard so I went with the Sabertooth. So far, rock-solid craftsman ship and the thing looks pure gorgeous.
