ASUS USB-N53 Black Diamond Dual Band 2.4GHZ 5GHZWIRELESS N USB Adapter
Cons:-Other cards at this price point can do 450Mbps

Pros:-Fast, fast, fast-Good throughput on 5GHz past 30ft from router-Stylish design
Comment:
Great card if you can find it on sale. Asus networking stuff is built for performance, and this card is no different; it can handle whatever you wanna throw at it. Excellent throughput on both bands, thought 5GHz is the fastest by far. In my bedroom, I get 213-300Mbps to the router on the other side of my apartment (listed speed not actual throughput) whereas my other N cards get 72Mbps on 2.4GHz.

ASUS USB-N53 Black Diamond Dual Band 2.4GHZ 5GHZWIRELESS N USB Adapter
Cons:I got screwed with rebates

Pros:Decent speeds
Comment:
I have tried many usb network adapaters and pci network cards. I must say that this one is faster and reliable than some pci networks cards I tried. Though it is not as fast as I expected, it still provides me a very nice ping for gaming and doing any network related activities. Design wise - I don't think any can really make the looks any better than this one.

I bought this because I`m going to be re-organizing my house and I still want to have internet on my desktop while it`s away from my router. It works great no problems with set up. It also has all bars on the second floor of my house.

ASUS USB-N53 Black Diamond Dual Band 2.4GHZ 5GHZWIRELESS N USB Adapter
Cons:Very large compared to other slim units.

Pros:Easy installation, excellent signal, dual band high speed.
Comment:
I purchased this adapter in conjunction with an Asus RT-N53 router and I am extremely impressed with performance and signal quality. I am using this adapter on the 5GHz band and have rock solid 5 bars from the other end of the house (60 Ft open air). Installation was extremely quick with the provided driver CD which at my time of purchase had the latest drivers from Asus. You can a short 4 inch usb extension cable made of flexible metal similar to a lamp to position the device on your pc for maximum signal quality. In fact the only negative point I can make is the size of the unit. Compared to most other wireless N adapters this is very large, and looks "goofy" when connected to a small laptop or net book. However, that aside this is an all around fantastic device.

ASUS USB-N53 Black Diamond Dual Band 2.4GHZ 5GHZWIRELESS N USB Adapter
Cons:If there are any cons with this product, it has to be due to the user not configuring the router and/or adapter properly. Everything should work perfectly if you know exactly what you're doing.

Pros:USB 2.0USB Antenna Flex CordPortable & Flexible Weight is non-existant
Comment:
USB 2.0 is extremely nice to see on a network adapter due to the increased speed from standard 1.0 and 1.1USB Antenna Flex Cord gives the user amazing functionality as to implementing it on any type of system. Not to mention you can adjust it to get the best signal from your access point.Driver Installation was seamless. If you're not tech. savvy, then you might have difficulties installing the drivers because Windows 7 (64bit) doesn't do it automatically (at least when this review was written).Maintains in operating temperatures on 100% load for 24 hours. It barely overheats. If anything, it never goes over its designed threshold.Weight is non-existant, so be careful when handling this. It might just slip out of your hands cause you might forget its there.Material used is of high grade quality. The overall feel is very professional. No dropped signals or lost connections. If you get any dropped signals or lost connections then it either must be damaged or your router and/or adapter isn't configured optimally. For those who want to know what kind of content I am downloading and uploading here is a few things:- HD Multimedia (1080p Youtube, BlueRay Movies, HighBitRate Music, etc)- Gaming (Counter-Strike:Source, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 BETA, Modern Warfare 3, Guild Wars 2 BETA)- VoIP (Ventrilo, Teamspeak 3, Mumble, Raidcall, Skype)- Large download files over 1TB n speeds up to 4-5 MB/s on SteamI've done a test using various programs while downloading and uploading to see the limits of this USB-N Adapter here are my results:Ventrilo, Mumble, Firefox: Downloading 1080p Youtube Video, Playing on Guild Wars 2: BETA (MMORPG).I am talking to alteast 5-10 different people on Ventrilo and Mumble (Microphone was permanently on for 15 minutes). 1080p Youtube video is streaming. Guildwars 2 is connected to the BETA server and im playing normally.Guess what?No lag with all that downloading and uploading.Absolutely amazing.Did it overheat?Nope, it didn't even break a sweat
