I snagged this on Black Friday for ๪, what a steal. The image is great, preset picture settings are excellent. I've utilised it for Xbox 360 gaming a handful of instances, and I was quite, quite satisfied. 1. When I would have each my 360 and laptop or computer plugged in and on, there would be some... "ghost" pixels... in the computer system's input (DVI). Some of the pixels- adequate to be noticeable- right here and there would just be solid green. Annoying, but it didn't show up on the 360's input (VGA).two. The speakers are less than impressive. They don't really have any bass, the sound just appears hollow and it sounds like instruments blend together. I'm coming from an older personal computer monitor, one with built-in speakers that were comparable to external speakers. Maybe standards for built-in speakers have decreased. Who knows. I suppose if you don't want speakers a lot (myself, I'm constantly listening to music) they would be sufficient. But don't strategy on relying on these for everyday use if you want top quality, like I was. Overall, for the price tag I paid, I'm incredibly satisfied. The image rocks, good with games. The ghost pixel problem doesn't effect me simply because I don't ever have the monitor plugged into far more than my personal computer at once. And as for the speakers, I had some external ones lying around which I use now, as an alternative.

I got this for 89.99 w/ absolutely free shipping during holiday season, so it was absolutely a steal but even with the price now I would buy another one. This monitor is great. Every thing is in good detail, contrast is excellent, colors are great, lightweight, clean black finish. It comes with speakers and they're decent but i don't plan on utilizing them for listening. nothing at all, can't go incorrect with this. i actually want a different one particular of these but no money right now. Maybe i'll be capable to save up sufficient income by the time the holiday season comes up and perhaps it will go back down to 89.99 w/ free of charge shipping, lol.

Gorgeous LED display. It transmits in 720, and looks virtually as great as my 42" 1080p LCD. I'm genuinely pleased with the tilt and it's seriously straightforward to move the screen. The menu alternatives are also genuinely easy to use. You even have different modes (Scene, Typical, Game, Theatre, Night View). Doesn't stretch out graphics in spite of being so wide and has a ton of resolutions to select from. Has built in speakers and comes with VGA, DVI, and sound connectors. Most significant plus was that I purchased it for ๩.99 for black Friday. Also functions really effectively with my NVIDIA card and I've had no difficulties employing NVIDIA's manage settings to calibrate it. The "Splendid Attempt me" sticker on the bottom subsequent to the ASUS logo. I'm sort of scared to get rid of it. When you initial hook it up it'll be way too bright so adjust that immediately. The wires that come with it are rather brief so make positive your Computer is close by or that you have extension cables. Don't care considerably for the built in speakers since I've got everything hooked up to a sound process, but this would be cool for someone who doesn't have that. Overally, I'm truly satisfied with the value I got it for. Surely a steal but even now I'd say it's worth it. Screen's big enough for me and I've even pushed it pretty far back on my desk. Picture is legit gorgeous!

1. Excellent back-lighting, I didn't have back-lighting before and worked off my laptop usually, this surely tends to make a huge distinction, anything seems... much better, much more comfy.2. Fantastic tilting anglesthree. Created of Office utilizes, It excels in that location, I can operate on it for several hours straight, they eye strain is decreased a lot. 1. Attracts sooo much dust and lint... i had read the evaluations before acquiring which pointed out this, but I in no way thought it would be THIS Negative. On second believed, it only shows when there is a sturdy light on.2. Wobbly stand. If I move books on my perform table or variety difficult/quickly, the screen will shake. And NO this is not since of an unstable work table, it's really sturdy, the screen's stand is built with weak plastic and isn't substantial enough.three. Horrible viewing angles, I don't know if its back-lighting that makes it this way, but my laptop has much better viewing angles.four. Not fantastic for watching films, this screen is really created for house office or offices. The tight viewing angle is 1 explanation, the other is color quality which isn't as "impressive" as other screens.5. Sound quality is really poor, on highest volume it is tough to listen to a film 5 feet away. Worth the value, for OFFICES only!Don't acquire if it is for gaming/movies.

Fantastic image excellentUncomplicated setup. Connector layout is very good, provided audio cable is extended sufficient to route by way of my desk down to the personal computer.Sound is correct, but as well quiet (see Cons) Max SPL ( perceived volume ) from the speakers is extremely low. Fine if there is tiny background noise, but not a critical replacement for separate desktop speakers. Far better SPL would make this a 5. Low SPL not a major issue for me, I wanted the separates gone off my desk, so mission achieved.

I got this monitor for my mom's new Pc, she wanted anything huge but not Large, this fit the bill nicely, it's also bright enough (too vivid at initially, see cons). Quite bright out of box, it's not a con that will price this factor an egg mainly because it's just screen brightness/contrast adjustments. Take five-ten minutes following setting it up to adjust brightness/contrast and you'll be fine. These points come set up for "display" as in a shop display, so they are set very vivid.

No dead pixels.LED Backlit.Has built-in speakers.Priced effectively (I got it for ๪ on Black Friday, but I would have paid the 财 value it's at now - 贶 is as well high for a monitor this size).Looks fantastic. Viewing angles aren't astounding.Took a lot of tinkering to get the colors to look appropriate. None of the color presets had been to my liking. The speakers are very quiet and don't sound really excellent (built-in speakers are generally negative). You probably want separate speakers if you get this.

Correct immediately after I wrote my evaluation on 12ቩ, I dropped one of my monitors off the desk straight down at least 2 1ǘ feet. The floor fortunately was a decently soft carpet but I was certain the fall would have damaged it. The housing had popped loose in the corner by the buttons but no tabs broke and it at some point got popped back into location. It did not come with a defibrillator... talk about possessing a heart attack! Dunno if LED is significantly additional sturdy than CCFL but I suspect I'd be replacing bulbs if this wasn't LED. ASUS built this thing quite solid in spite of the wobbly base.

LED backlight and DVI for the cost. Plus, it's from ASUS.1440 x 900 resolution ྰᚲ), standard widescreen. No committed "source" button. Whereas this monitor has DVI and D-sub connectors, switching in between these two sources demands at least five button presses. In many other monitors, this is a a single-button deal. If you count on monitors to have KVM-like functionalities (by one button push), this is not the 1 for you. I know I shouldn't even talk about the speaker quality, but "better than nothing" excellent speaker. Even closer to absolutely nothing: No stereo-mini (or any audio) outlet. Just as a low-end DVI monitor, it's a good get.

Screen looks good, Purchased it for 89.99. Installation was a breeze. Screw, insert, plug, play; that straightforward. The speakers are not the greatest, but It aids add sound to my surround method, so it floods the space more. I would say if you just want it to make sound it gets the job carried out. Its not too big, slim and shiny. Keep it clean and the base isn't massive so it dosn't take too substantially space. Which is a plus.

Great LED-LCD for the price; Solid stand. Would be a excellent monitor at ๪ as some have paid for it - I got it for 贍; the stand is rather huge and takes up a fair quantity of space for a modest monitor. I seriously don't notice considerably difference between this LED and the older LCDs. It does the job, and it wasn't terribly pricey, even at 贍.

Great image, sharp at native resolution. Very good tilt range. Preset display options variability are great. No dead pixels. Laterally it's not in particular stable on its stand. One point that drives me nuts is that any time there's a signal/screen alter, specifically at boot up, a giant window pops up in the upper left. VGA...VGA...VGA. This is often right in the way of the directions telling you what key to press to enter the BIOS or RAID setup. As far as I can tell there is nowhere to turn this selection off. Auto-sense commonly works nicely positions screen (horiz, vert, pin, and so forth.) appropriately. Not so significantly in non-Windows environs; they require manual adjustments.

When a single can catch an LED monitor at a excellent price tag, in my situation 90 bucks plus totally free shipping, one grabs it up. Simply because it was an ASUS monitor I had self-confidence right off the bat that it would perform well. I found the viewing angle to be very essential with the monitor I received. It is needed to align it or yourself, to appear at the screen dead on, otherwise 1 sees shadows brought on by an optical impact. When moving my head from left to appropriate, only by inches, 1 side of the screen appears to darken and other brightens, likewise when moving it proper to left. Often I find myself adjusting the screen to fit the position I am sitting in. With time I have adjusted to performing this automatically. I wonder if LED monitors of bigger size do this also or it is associated to the smaller ones like this 19 inch model. Despite the angularity problem I am satisfied with this unit.

1440x900 resolution with a bright, vibrant display. All the cables included. ๪ shipped on Black Friday. None for me, unless you count that two of them barely fit on my 32 inch desk. Speaker top quality wasn't an problem for me and I have not even tried them. I would not count on something from built in speakers. DVI cables had been short but best for my desk with not a lot of excess cord to clutter items.

Place together a junk technique for world wide web and lite gaming. The CRT was driving me crazy. Wanted a thing good for the eye balls. This was on sale for ๪, shipping included. Could not pass it up. Appreciate it so far. Just require to set appropriate DPI for res. and fantastic to go. A back lit (not edge) LED 19" for ๪. That comes with DVI connection and both VGA, DVI cables and a speaker cable. Well, the integrated speakers are of typical laptop sound excellent. Reality is, you're not shopping for this monitor for sound. When desk is bumped, it wobbles. But does not fall down. Viewing angle is not substantially, fairly straight on. You could easily invest 贘 and nonetheless be pleased.

the 250 cd/m2 is misleading, it is brighter than my 300 cd/m2 lcd (that isn't LED back-lit)clear, vivid display, excellent colors & contrast.pretty effectively built case & stand, shiny. even with a response time of 5ms the performance is noticeably unique from my 19 inch A**r with 5ms & 75hz, not saying it's worse precisely but undoubtedly handles a bit diverse.speakers: not even going to use them, why would I? why they even include them is a mystery to me.heavy overall, but...tiny leading-heavy for the stand and as nicely built as the stand is it isn't rigid adequate so it wiggles a lot, I am a lot more than a little concerned that it will tip over.consider wall mounting it if achievable. or see if there is a way to appropriately anchor the base to the desk. investigation gave me contradictory answers; 1: that refresh doesn't matter on lcd. 2: that there is no refresh rate in the identical sense as a CRT because the pixels are just on or off and not refreshing continually.3: that it might matter somehow but no a single knows for sure. on the other hand: I'm a firm believer that if it didn't matter at all the manufacturers wouldn't list them at all.

actually light. vibrant. sits next to my westinghouse 22w2 and it is brighter, much more colorful. not by a entire lot. has preset color modes (game, theater, normal) that make altering color temp incredibly straightforward. the buttons on bottom make adusting pretty straightforward, with the exception of volume. that isn't as effortless as it should be. setup was pretty simple Ɣ screws). it is a thin, pretty monitor. looks way nicer than my 22". thin bezel. shiny base. ASUS written on back in gloss. monitor wobbles if you shake. if you have a solid desk, you will be fine. but i noticed that my 22" didnt move, but the asus was wobbling. not worth an egg. and neither is the volume control, as i dont use these speakers.
