ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:Advanced interface can get confusing.

Pros:Router, Wireless Adapter, Repeater ALL IN ONE tiny unit! Strong signal, Price, simple. USB included cable can act as power source.
Comment:
To good to be true! Just when I thought I'd try one of these I only bought 1 and now they are shown as "Product Not Available". Yea...to good to be true and that these are! They are very effective when used as repeaters for their size and simplicity. Give a positive and Asus says hmmm they like em...lets pull em and make something crippled for more!

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:Once in repeater mode, I can't seem to access the router using the address provided from the book, though LAN port as well as Wireless bridging works over the internet gateway. My gateway is different from the preset IP router address.

Pros:Super portable, can be powered by a USB port which is a plus! Easy configuration!!
Comment:
I bought this specifically to do 3 things, a Hotspot gateway for my hotel/conference area during meets, a repeater for dead spots at home and a wireless adapter for the Asus O Play.In this case, it is mostly acting as a repeater plus a wireless adapter for my O Play so it can access my wireless NAS for HD and music content. This router is FAST, though not as fast as my DLINK Media Lounge or the Linksys WRT 54G. It's currently bridging the DLINK 4300 as this seems to handle heavy network load better I think. WRT 54G lags a bit during bridging.

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:only one port !!! two would have been betterfew tweaking configuration optionsrebate has not come in yetno battery option for better positioning

Pros:very smallrelatively cheap when on salebundled usb power cablenice carrying case
Comment:
Its a really tiny wireless access point/network adapter but can't really be used effectively as a router or firewall due to the severe limitation on the number of ports included (1!) - would have been far better if there had been a WAN and a LAN port (like the first network routers that were released). Other than that has "4" operating modes that serve function. It was bundled with a usb power cable alongside a power brick so you don't need to carry it around on trips.

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:None

Pros:Flexibility, low power consumption, performance
Comment:
I was first impressed as I opened the package: I didn't expect it to fit in the palm of my hand, nor to come with a padded carrying case. Those were very nice surprises.Asus seems lately to be paying a lot of attention to detail. The last laptop I got from them was equally well equipped as this smart little device. The unit comes with both an AC adapter and a USB power adapter, since it only requires 1A f 5V it is capable of being driven by a USB 2.0 port (but not a USB 1.1 port as, if I recall correctly, it only supplies one-half ampere (500mA) of current).I found Asus' documentation and web-based configuration to both be above par -- plenty of features, nice graphics, easy to follow. The features of this palm-sized device can't be beat for the price (and even at four times the price and size, in my experience). The last Access Point I owned cost me around $150 and was much larger, and our company recently bought a $250 access point that doesn't appear to offer anything more than this pocket wonder does.I used the device with my laptop in Linux and it worked perfectly. Then I plugged it into a LAN switch to supply wireless to computers in my house that do not have WiFi and it is working great. I was concerned about the distance (about 50 feet) because we have a century-old house with thick walls. Our cordless phones and laptops with built-in wireless don't work well at all from this room, but the 330ge is doing a great job (I'm streaming 192k web radio and typing this review through it).I intend to buy more of them, so I can keep one in my laptop bag so when I go to a public library with a non-WiFi laptop and my pocket LAN switch I can have them both talking to the Library's WiFi.

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:None

Pros:CompactPowers off USBEasy to setup
Comment:
I bought this to use as an XBOX 360 adapter and it works for that. It was literally less than two minutes to setup as an ethernet adapter. Once configured, I unplugged from the PC and plugged into the xbox and instantly was connected to my home network.Connection signal was good, and at a distance of about 30 feet, through walls, the signal strength in windows media center was displaying as above the tv level and below the hdtv level, which is more than sufficient.Given the ease of use and convenience plus the overall utility at what this little device can do I'd recommend everyone own one, "just in case".

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router
Cons:Wish it had a built in ethernet switch.

Pros:Small.USB or AC powered.VERY full featured.
Comment:
It's extremely small. Comes with a nice carrying case too.I was pleased to find out it could be powered by a USB port.Even has options for separate private and public SSID's with different subnets. This is more powerful than most access points 5 times its size. Impressive. Worth it's regular price, a steal with any MIRs.

ASUS WL-330gE 4-in-one Portable Wireless Router

Comment:
Found the setup to be very easy, the web interface was very helpful and easy for setup. Just hooked it up, ran the setup and was operational in a few minutes.
