Does specifically what it is supposed to do. Stable. Nonetheless operating. None, based on the fact that it operates as advertised, and not how I dreamed it to be sitting at my desk in my undies thinking I could magically make ddr2 pc2-6400 into ddr3 pc3-18000. Be wary when you see low ratings based on stuff not operating. If the modules do not operate, then blame shipping. Blame the way the consumer most probably handled it. Companies do NOT survive selling faulty item. Also be wary when an individual only writes two sentences bashing RMA or <insert deity> knows what. This rating method is useless. End of rant.

No complications with a not too long ago purchase Intel DG33FB motherboard.Program is set up as my residence server using Linux (Fedora 9) and it isrunning on 24x7. Did not get the 'AVANT' modules as pictured. Instead, I received 'elixir' brandedmodules (Nanya Technology). Specs appear to be the equivalent. The 'elixir' modules timing is 5-five-5-18.

I guess none! One particular memory stick was recognized as faulty by windows memory test. The technique was very flaky with that stick in. Hate to lose cash on RMA postage, and restocking fee for no fault of the client. Stay away from this RAM. Read the other evaluations just before ordering. The unfavorable press about this memory is true.

Great Cost .... I essentially figured this ram was so affordable that it wouldn't perform on my ECS Motherboard with AMD x2 but it was sooo low-cost how could I not buy it to try it. It installed and worked initial time. I am slightly overclocking my technique by about five% and this ram is stable. I could go higher but I am not a risk taker. Such a low price tends to make you wonder what is incorrect with this stuff ... I am not complaining the stuff functions excellent but usually when anything sounds to great to be correct it typically is. I keep pushing this memory but still haven't found an concern however. Win 2003 R2 Server 64 bit .. 8 gigs of ram total. 4 of this and 4 of Geil ram. Making use of SpeedCache which I have configured to use about 90% of the RAM to cache the difficult drives. This RAM has been taking a beating and keeps on ticking.

Don't actually personal it but was sort of thinking about shopping for it. This whole NewEgg rating issue scares me... Why is it that this ram gets four eggs if you obtain two sticks for a total of 4 gb, but only get's 3 eggs if you purchase four sticks of the extremely same model in the 8 gm package. It doesn't truly make sense that the rating need to go down just simply because you acquire 2 a lot more sticks.

InexpensivePerforms specifically as advertised Timings are a little bit slow Truly there is nothing to pick on this RAM for: it runs just fine at the posted speed and timings and I have had no issues at all with it. The stock timings are a little bit slow and you don't get a heat spreader but you also don't spend for 1 and it is not necessary mainly because the RAM is barely warm to the touch when run at stock voltages.

Overall very good RAM, put it in vista gave my system a five.7 rateing, let's my games like Mass Effect and Neverwinter Nights two get a tiny FPS enhance from the two gb's I had just before, more than all quite fantastic. No heatspreaders? I havnt noticed a big ammount of heat but if that could be a problem for a person just rememher that. Cheap value, quick speeds, excellent deal, if only my method could run 1066 ram i'd be much more content.

All gravy. I put this in a TUL TRS780-M1 AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX motherboard. It's been operating overclocked with the stock settings at about 880MHz. I had it running even at a little over 900MHz, but had to lower the FSB on the CPU, due to only having a stock cooler on the CPU. Anyway, rock solid memory. None.

When I bought it it was practically the very same cost as most 2 GB kits. Posts 6-five-five at 408 Hz "Stock" speed. It may well be my motherboard, but I would definitely hope that the RAM must be able to manage a puny two% overclock on the FSB. Other than that no complaints.

Fairly inexpensive. Works good. If it was ŭ/stick, that would rock. Heat spreaders on RAM are silly, so I went with these mainly because of the more affordable price. Of course, I'm not overclocking anything.
