My Antec earthwatts PSU is more than two years old and offers quiet lovely power to my super overloaded program. 5 hard drives, blu-ray, q9550, situation fans, usb devices, etc and so on. I just added two 5750s in crossfire and it handles them no problem! Only 1 6pin adapter for video card Can deal with a 5750 in crossfire! Everywhere says "you want a 600W supply".. not if you have an antec earthwatts :)

The quantity of wattage on the 12v rail tends to make this thing have almost 396W on them alone, much more than most PSU's of 500w+. Very high good quality, quiet. None. GTX 460, Athlon II X4 OC, 2xDDR3, 7xfans, fan controller, more than enough energy.

I have had a number of Antec power supplies, this is the 2nd one of these I have bought, previously I utilized 550W suipplies. This a single appears to work just as effectively and is 120W much less. LGA775 and PCI-E non sli. I wish it had modular cables. Requirements far more Sata power connectors and fan connectors.

None any far more. Replacement unit for initially dead on arrival also dead on arrival; no response from Antec; wonderful RMA service from Newegg but going with distinct brand at this point. Newegg might have undesirable batch of these 430W's from Antec but unable to test ahead of shipping to me so no much more tries with this brand, specially provided Antec lack of interest.

Quiet, high efficiency rating, easy to setup and lots of connectors. Runs flawlessly. None so far. I will give this five eggs after I have had it for 6 months, but my initially impression is very great. I was a bit hesitant about Antec, but I am impressed with the product. I will in all probability obtain Antec yet again.

Good provide, looks great, functions fantastic. Purchased on sale by means of newegg more than 60 days ago and also with a mail-in rebate. Antec does not honer mail-in rebates. They do not respond to the rebate e-mail address they present. I also bought a 300 situation w/power provide and their 380D energy provide more than 90 days ago using mail-in rebates. I've recieved Nothing at all! So - You get 1 egg Antec on all 3 items! I will not purchase any more Antec merchandise. Boo - Antec!

This energy supply has quite a few certifications to back it up, such as the prized 80+ certification. On prime of that, the all important internal elements are manufactured by the legendary SeaSonic Corp. I bought this unit to replace a 450W Hercules that had bitten the dust. Here are some specs on my machine:Asus P4B MainboardPentium 4 two.4 GHz rev. B1.five Gb PNY SDRAMAsus N 7600 GS silentSB Reside! soundcardD-Link DWL-G520 internal Wi-Fi cardDVD + CD-RW x two80 Gb Seagate x 2All of these run off of this PSU with no any dilemma at all. The rather inexpensive price-tag threw me off at first, and the added extended cables kind of ugly-up the inside of my case. This is an great PSU for the income. In spite of possessing to bundle up a LOT of extra cable, I didn't genuinely thoughts soon after I saw the performance. Voltages are remarkably stable, it can deliver fairly a bit of juice, and it is whisper fairly due to the low-energy thermally controlled fan.Oh, and did i mention the internals are by SeaSonic?Very Suggested.

great psu. performs fine. not also hot. saves me some flow on the electrical bill. ideal for htpc BUT not modular. need to be modular for tight htpc cases. you can oc your unit with this. you don't will need a 1000w energy supply. those who say you do are attempting to attain 9ghz speed. crazy. so if you spend your electrical bill, go with this or perhaps the 500 watt version max. if you are 16 and don't care what your parents pay for electricity then get a 1000w unit.

It functions good. Each and every time I upgrade my PSU, I generally go for Antec and have been shopping for Antec PSUs for nearly ten years. None. 82% efficiency (minimal as I fully grasp it) and 87% average according to the box or manual <I think>. Antec tends to make fantastic goods.P.S. - The images are a little deceiving (not a poor factor), but the power supply is actually green in color, which shocked me. As stated on the box there was no power cord. Also, one other issue, the box is a small anemic for packaging (just like an additional reviewer pointed out); I think newegg really should have utilised a tiny far more packaging, just for extra protection. Overall the the packaging was adequate for getting my PSU from newegg to my residence without having any harm.

Simple install.Long wires made routing a snap.Lots of connectors I don't need appropriate now.Fan flow is front to back, which I feel operates nicely. Wish I could eliminate the unneeded cables. I bought this to replace the 250W in my old Dell Dimension 4600. I required it for the new video card I added. So far, I'm really pleased with it.

Active PFC. 80-plus efficiency. Lots of connectors. It even looks excellent. In brief, it's an Antec. The fan made a buzzing sound starting the 1st time that the power supply was turned on, so the unit had to be returned for a replacement. Minus a single egg for the poor fan. FYI, no power cord is included. Often connect your new power supply to a power supply tester (you have a single of those, right?) ahead of installing it. This time, I skipped that step, installed the new Antec EarthWatts 430 in a friend's method, then had to spend far more time removing it. Thankfully, I had an Antec EarthWatts 380 sitting about, so rather than swapping the PSU however once more, I just left the EarthWatts 380 in there (the 380 has been working perfectly and quietly 24ǝ for 9 months).Newegg's RMA course of action is effective, and I received the replacement 430 promptly.

Quite a lot almost everything about this PSU is excellent. It's got great efficiency, quite small voltage drop below load, suitable OVP/OCP (Over-Voltage and Over-Current protection), very tiny noise and ripple, appropriately advertised Amp ratings, great handling of high temperatures, and very good quality elements that won't die very easily. There are really couple of sub-500W power supplies that can claim all these factors. In truth I can count them on 1 hand. One other actually good factor with it is that the cables come out close to the rear of the case (on the correct side). This tends to make cable management slightly simpler than when they're on the left. Some individuals say that it not becoming modular is a con. But due to the rear-mounted fan on this unit airflow ought to go from front to back, meaning that there's no place to place the modular connectors with no risking overheating it. And considering that some circumstances just don't enable for a bottom-mounted 120려mm fan, so some people will decide on this over a modular unit.So yeah, it's not truly a con, it's just a selection everyone will make for themselves. There's a different assessment on right here that says "if you are 16 and don't care what your parents pay for electrical energy then get a 1000w unit." This is wrong in just about every sense. Just simply because a PSU says 1000W that doesn't mean it'll often pull 1000W from the wall. It only pulls what your elements need to have, up to 1000W, and then a little bit added due to inefficiency (and that's why you want an effective unit). To maximize efficiency and lifespan you want to run your PSU between 25% and 75% load at all occasions. With this particular one 鷮W), this implies you must be operating AT LEAST a quad core and mid level GPU or you'll threat having particular elements deteriorate quicker.

I bought this item to replace a seven-year old 350W QMax (?) power supply, which had become flakey--occasional random shutdowns or aborted boot-ups--which was running in a second personal computer with a seven-year old, 32-bit ECS motherboard utilizing a year-old AMD Barton 2600+ CPU and numerous hand-me-down upgrades that we use just for word processing, e-mail and Net surfing (running Windows 7). I was fairly pleasantly surprised when the laptop's performance immediately enhanced noticeably: it now finishes starting up in a third of the time it did with the old energy supply. Other tasks--such as antimalware scans--also are materially faster. I guess the CPU and memory had been receiving subpar voltage. None so far. Back in 2002, when Newegg was just finding going, I bought a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card (which is nonetheless running and now in the laptop or computer mentioned above) and was duly impressed when Newegg had the shipment out the door the same afternoon it was ordered. Eight years later, the very same efficiency prevails. This energy supply was delivered just 25 hours right after I ordered it. Such service is nonetheless extremely rare.

I've utilised Antec for years and have by no means had a problem.Excellent voltage stability beneath a assortment of loads. Attractive green casing. Quiet and it runs cool. Competitive pricing per watt. None. It functions nicely. I really feel a small insulted by Antec's claim that it is cleaning up the atmosphere by not such as a power cable. We all know it's to save on costs Antec!

Effective, quiet, price successful Not totally silent, fairly minimal extra characteristics, some cables a small brief Running a quad-core CPU and a Radeon HD6850, it's quite efficient. Who says you need a massive power provide for a gaming program? Most I've ever observed is 260W of power drawn from the wall beneath full strain testing.
