Comment:
High effectiveness, lots of connectors. Horizontal air-flow. None. Due to the fact this was component of a fully new make with components I’d by no means used prior to, I opted for the 430W model instead of the 380W. This rig includes an MSI P55M-GD45, i7 860 OC’ed to 3.5GHz, 4GB G.Skill DDR3 2000, five Samsung HD502HJ 500GB drives, a generic GeForce 9500 GT, and four case fans. I shouldn’t have worried. The program idles at about 60W, and maxes out at 186W running wPrime and HD Tune simultaneously. It’s also true I rarely run games or otherwise stress the graphics adapter, so YMMV.

Green Not positive what all the praise is about this unit becoming silent. It's entirely audible, even from the other side of the space. I think this item's 'Green' enviro-friendly hype is marketing smarts in the works. Don't be fooled, it's not that quiet.

GO GREEN! I have installed this PSU in a system that is on 24ǝ lets see if it makes a dent in my electric consumption. Overall it has lots of connectors for SATA and MOLEX, PCIe and 20Ʋ for the system board. Runs quiet and cool, cables are extended adequate to reach all locations that need power in my Antec Three hundred case. I actually can't think of any. Bought this as a combo deal with the Antech 3 hundred case. I couldn't be happier with my selections.

Effectively Reliability. this PSU has fantastic ი volt rails that carry as many amps and more affordable PSUs of 600W. and I have had 1 of these given that they came out rock solid for most spending budget to mid range desires. most systems unless you are difficult core gamming dont need anything far more than this ROCK SOLID PSU. Mine has been operating a 4830 Graphics card for a excellent extended time which if you look calls for I think it is min of 450w or 500W. I generally just check the ANTEC PSU calculator for my desires, unless you running 1 of the high wattage quad or hex cores with High finish graphics in sli or crossfire I have discovered this PSU to function properly in most budget - mid range gaming rigs. Yes they may well price additional than those cheaper 600 W PSUs but you will find this can deal with a lot more than those for a lot longer. I have had to replace very of couple of of those low cost PSUs that say they are 500W-600W along with many components from rigs that had those low cost PSUs... (cont. in other) NONE most folks only look at the Watage and not the Amps. Also, I have however to have to replace an Antec PSU. aside from switching from an AT platform to the ATX platform. Ya I have some 8 year old Antec PSUs nevertheless working. Like I said go to the Antec PSU calculator at the Antec web page and see what you actually need to have. I generally figure my rigs at 50% capacitor wear because in 1-3 years that is what you will require if you plan on keeping your rig that long. Don\'t forget if you get an Antec PSU you may possibly as properly future proof it and get 1 huge adequate for future Vidio and CPU upgrades if you strategy on putting in the high finish graphics and power hungery CPUs or SLI/Crossfire rigs get a PSU huge adequate to manage that stuff.I have yet to do a construct that needed much more than an Antec 650W psu to power them.

Okay, initially off, to clarify: I don't have this Precise PSU. I have an older Earthwatt 430w PSU from Antec. Essentially the exact same thing -- Given that it's not listed, I decided to evaluation on this.Anyways,I've had mine running for a lot more than two years on my pc. It's pretty much by no means turned off, I run my Pc challenging, and it runs cool and does everything without stuttering. I'm only going to get Antec power supplies in the future -- that's how very good this 1 is. It's effective, virtually never heats up, and finest of all -- It's quiet. The cords are extended; there are A lot of connectors, anything you could ever need to have. It powers my machine w/ no complications:Core two Duo E4500 two.2ghz OC'd to two.61 for 2 years.eVGA 9600gt SuperClocked @ 733core, 954mem.DVD-RW x 2Western Digital 500gb Black x 4No issues whatsoever. It's... heavy? Wait - I forgot. That's a sign of a excellent power supply.Oh, and the cords are lengthy. This might be a pro or con for some, for me it was a pro, but I figured I could list it here just to clarify. Don't go overkill on your PSU... I was a tad skeptical of whether or not this would reliably power every little thing I have, but certain sufficient, it did it without having any fuss. Acquire for what you will need, save income, etc.

It was dirt cheap on sale plus had a rebate. It claims to be quite efficient ࿰ plus bronze). Does not involve a power cable and is not modular. But these are each stated in the description, so no loss of egg. It was also pretty cheap. :) Some men and women think it's created by Delta and not Antec. I don't know. So far it's working fine.

price, quiet, cool very long cord lengths are a discomfort in a modest tower case. have purchased two other green works of the 380watt version, one drives a WHS with five green drives with 45watt 2core AMD at ាwatts consumed according to kill a watt. This in a tri core with two x 1TB 7.2k Seagates + LG Blu ray at the moment drawing 60watts.

It has lots of SATA power connections. I'm employing this in an HTPC that also holds copies of all my DVDs. To support a lot of disks, I wanted a energy provide that can manage the load.I used this to replace a three+ year old energy supply that died. Technique is back and running smoothly. Took about 45 minutes to take away the old PS, insert the new 1, and get the method happy once more. None.

A really good power supply. Quiet and trustworthy, Whilst the method it's in is not a 'Monster" method it is powering 6 HDD's, 2 optical drives and five 120 mm fans. Not really a con as the PSU is meant for a method with SATA drives, Just had to use adapters on some of the SATA coonectors for the old IDE drives. These PSU's had been meant as replacements as they come with out a power cord as they want you to reuse the old one. They will function fine in a new build, just make sure you have a cord as I did.

None at this time. DOA DOA. Pressed on/off switch...zilch. Power Supply box was dented on left front. Couldn't be UPS's fault as the container it was shipped in was fine. Manufacturer Response:I'm sorry for the issues you appear to be having with your PSU. From your post, it's not clear if you've connected the unit to your machine or not. If you flip the switch on the power supply to test the unit without getting it connected to your pc, absolutely nothing will occur. Either way, if the unit is defective, our warranty does cover this and you should go to our support page for a replacement.External Link(s): Antec Support|

Fantastic supply. I was straining it for about two hours - on my key rig - to make confident it wouldn't blow and it was rock solid the whole time. The green color sticks out like a sore thumb (or green thumb, as it were) on the back of my Antec P180 White case.

Extremely sturdy construction. Easy to mount. My Antec case was a bit of a chore to function in, so I had to get rid of the mobo before finding the new PSU shoehorned into it. Green is good, but I don't buy that Anetc is becoming "green" just simply because they didn't incorporate a power cord. Seriously. Can we say, "Marketing"?

Super Cost-Uncomplicated Install-Super Rapidly Shipping-Top quality Create- The Green Color is also Very Cool- Wire harness makes a rather massive footprint in the personal computer case, but nothing a couple of added zip ties didn't take care of. Item was bought for a Dell 5150. I ordered on a Sunday afternoon and it was delivered on the following Wednesday. I realized pretty quick this was a quality item the moment I took it out of the box. Install of the unit itself was pretty straightforward as was identifying where every plug went. I noticed correct away this unit was super quiet (much additional than the previous Dell factory PSU). I would absolutely suggest it as a future obtain, specifically for Dell desktop owners.

Quiet, barely can tell it's on, long warranty, lot of connectors, a lot of length, can't go wrong at this price!. none I've tried really a few of the ฤ-25 "cheapish" PS's but only one lasted 2 years and I have a modest rig, do yourself a favor and get this 1 instead, build good quality is noticeably far better and when one of the inexpensive 1's croak's you only hope it doesn't take out your MOBO, ect..

Important power savings. My Dell Dimension E310 was working with about 150 watts at idle and with this power supply it is working with about 100. Cabling gets a bit messy, but that is to be expected with any power supply. I'm sold on Antec EarthWatts. I will be replacing the power supplies in my other rigs.

Luxuriously lengthy cables. Luxuriously long cables. Put this in the bottom of a full tower. Man, these cables are lengthy! Reached the highest drive and power connector on the mb with ease. The down side is, of course, the major rats nest of excess cable for the ones you don't need obstructing air flow. The net effect is almost a wash, edging just a bit on the Pro side simply because I didn't have to extend anything to get to the leading of my full tower.
