- 500 watts is a lot of power for most systems- Power efficient model- Great cable length - All of the screw holes didn't line up with my case, so I was only able to screw in three of the holes. Not a massive dilemma though, mainly because it seems to be enough to keep the PSU firmly in place.- No power cord. Utilized this in a new personal computer that I just built, and it runs a i3-530 processor + ATI HD 5770 no challenge :)

Looks good and has a claimed 80% plus efficiency Only lasted 4 months. Program shut its self down 7 days prior to failure. System turned back on operated for 1 week, shut its self down. Tried turning system back on, technique restarted its self many seconds into post then didn't post at all. Known very good power provide resolved concern. Bottom line, this PSU only lasted four months, but it may well had had a thing to do with my four-core Intel processor. I assume a two-core would not be as considerably of a burdon on the PSU. Defiantly not a great option for a four-core processor!

Excellent cost whilst on saleSupposedly much more environmentally friendly. All the cables had been extended sufficient (unlike the earlier PSU I had!). It's not modular, not that I particularly care. I'm not an electrical engineer. It functions, comes in a pretty green color and has much more than enough cables for my modest program. It's generally greater not to skimp on your PSU, so I went with a good quality brand (that also takes place to make the case I use). 500W is adequate for most systems, and more than sufficient to power my wimpy Nvidia 8600.

inexpensive, runs much more quiet than my old psu *coughcrappyoldpsucough* like most have said, it's an ugly green, but if you don't have a side panel chassis who cares lol. i'd recommend this psu for any non-intensive power eating machine. personally i love modular psus but in this case the cable management wasn't that negative.

Quite quiet and cool! I immediately noticed the interior temps within my laptop or computer case dropped which led to a far more ideal operating environment. Unit has five ƕ) SATA power connections which I needed for my extra difficult drives. I am also very pleased with the 80 Plus Bronze power rating! -none- This new PSU replaced my 3-year-old Antec 380 watt Earthwatts PSU. This turned out to be a very nice upgrade! Newegg shipping was lighting quickly! Ordered it on a Saturday evening and it arrived via UPS at 1ᛆ PM the following Tuesday!

Going green, saving electricity. Does the job as required, sitting at the top of my case unnoticeable. Outstanding psu for the dollars. None, just make confident you save your old energy cord if you are buying this as a replacement. This will be powering my soon to arrive XFX 5850. Can't wait!

Ideal fit for my Dell Dimension 4700. Installation was easy. Runs quiet. Had ample connectors. I was even able to eradicate the two adapter cables that I was already using (PCI for video card, splitter for further optical drive). None.

Agreed with other reviews for the most portion. When paired with a low-finish UPS, it's a failure of epic proportions. When the UPS switches to battery power with it's simulated sine-wave, the power supply Immediately switches off power to your personal computer. Unless you're making use of a pure sine-wave or high-grade simulated sine-wave UPS, you're rolling the dice. One out of three of these in my residence work on a low-end UPS. Now I have to replace the other two or invest hundreds on a high-grade UPS. Each laptop or computer really should be on a UPS - no excuses. Be cautious that you don't pair an Active PFC energy supply with a low-end UPS.

Works best, no RF hash (checked it w/spectrum analyzer). Powers my hungry video board, sound card, RAID controller and the rest of the lot. Runs considerably cooler and is considerably greener than the stock 430W jobbie I pulled out of there. Glad to be sucking less juice, particularly for a standby junkie... Screw holes in my HP case not an exact match for this 'sply; 3 out of four hold it in location. Maybe it was only two screws holding it in location; can't don\'t forget cos it's in the rack now and it JUST WORKS =)
