Aesthetically pleasing. Modular. Quiet fans with adjustable speeds. Flexible positioning of PSU and motherboard. Suspended hard drives run with subsequent to no noise. Practical toolbox on the bottom. A single aesthetic con: Removing the top mesh covers to set up your DVD drives leaves screw holes visible. The video tends to make it look a tiny bit easier than it really is, but nevertheless, I've never worked with an easier case. I really enjoy how the motherboard tray slides out, producing installation much easier and leaving you additional space when you're dinking about with cords.

airflow, appearance, room for significant GPU's, total modular method. size... not a monster, roomier than the antec 900. I love the reduce out in the mobo tray. I like the wiring channels behind the mobo. tool kit enjoyable notion, handles quite sturdy! Fans adjustable, blue LED fans. two.five" SSD area on bottom of case. HDD attachment design. I purchased the case pondering the bunji cord notion was perfect, nevertheless now that I have some challenging drives webbed up, I'm a small dissapointed. The bunji cords are not firm, my WD 1TB caviar drive rests at about a 12 degree angle (hanging down in the back), I have two other SSDs a 3.5 and a 2.five. the three.5 is not heavy enought to place any weight on the cords, and the unit slides on the "rails" and the slight pressure from the dangling SATA cable makes the drive sit up higher on a single side. The tubing employed is not solid, but a hollow surgical type tube. -1I feel its cheesy that a USB three. prepared situation is just a USB three. extension wire that you have to plug into the back of the motherboard. Antec... actually? they even left a slot in the situation so you could let this thick old wire out to plug into the back panel. My PCB came with two USB headers on the board, and now they're unused. -1 I would of liked to see a motherboard header for the front panel USB three.. all molex fans :( its exciting that the situation comes with a grounding wire that is part of the front panel harness and has to be woven by way of the situation and mounted below a PSU screw. I guess given that the situation isnt solid metal and has the front panel stuff mounted in plastic. finish on the case is actually nice, the label "Antec" is flawless polished chrome on a mirror black background, I actually like the yellow. I did get this at newegg, just with my wife's account.

substantial case lots of room very good fans slide out mother board tray hole for liquid cooling so significantly u can do with this case and im acquiring an at idle of 23degrees c on processer now this situation holds no heat areas to hide wire i got a large spire cpu cooler and the heat pipes prevent me from making use of all 4 fan slots on the side wich is ok i have a 140 mounted on a rail and a 140 laying in the bottom and its plenty cool and if u wanna use fan slots on op of case u have to install psu at bottom witch sucks because major board cables are short i wish this case was wider if i could place fans behind the cpu on back side of processer it woulb be nice

I feel as if I may use this case for the rest of my life. The motherboard tray is a small tough to slide out the moment your method is in spot, but the power provide is held in with a thumbscrew. Cable management is a cinch when you can back out the power supply numerous inches. I had sufficient space for my hands in every element of this case, and I proceeded to construct the entire construct without a single scratch on my hands.I completely adore this situation. I had a difficult time mounting non-regular drive sizes such as a digital card reader. At the moment it's suspended in air like my challenging drives. It functions, but it's truly weird. I strategy to acquire ten further fans just for the sake of Awesome.I was unable to to close a single of the side panel doors upon installing a DVD drive facing sideways. It may possibly be a consequence of employing an IDE cable as I need to have about a half an inch far more to really get the door closed.

Fantastic airflow! Shaved about 7C off of my core temp(i7 930 @ four. on air) Looks wonderful, and is quieter than my Antec 900. Plastic does really feel a small flimsy, unless you are rough with it there is absolutely nothing to worry about.Wish there was about 1ǘ" more space behind the mobo tray. 100% Happy with this buy.

Sleek searching - Handles are handy (seriously). They surely weren't kidding when they said you can modify, swap, switch this situation around in any configuration. The full mesh walls support to make this situation super cool on the inside. Cable management became a hassle once i began hooking every thing up. Mastery of cable wraps and zip ties really should enable unclutter the inside. I'm thrilled with the case -- I just need to dive in and tighten up my wires to clean up the inside of the situation. I don't need to have to be knocking off eggs for my laziness.

This is an awesome Case...it was so straightforward to disassemble this issue and get all of my hardware into it. I have four hard drives suspended and two SSD drives in it...I am also employing the Corsair Liquid cooling program and it fit perfectly on prime of one particular of the current fans. I can really feel the ice cold air blowing out of this issue at each and every angle and the only location I see dust (after a solid month of use) is on the fans. Very best case I ever used and I was a Coolermaster guy ahead of this! I can only factor of some sort of felt or sponge lining in front of the fans...otherwise...best.

Has lots of area. Is modular like stated. I like the air suspension on the tricky drives. Somewhat affordable plastic but still overall pretty sturdy. As opposed to some who have commented on these situations, mine came with 2 or 3 bags of screws and had lots of extras.... except the thumb screws for the panels. Fit all my larger items like longer video cards, longer power supplies. Method does appear to stay pretty cool. Hasn't filled up with dust however lake my last couple situations. I like the fact it is modular but the front yellow rails have lots of extra empty screw holes that are an eyesore. Should have sent further thumb screws for the side panels. If you loose 1, they are proprietary. Front fan dials don't operate on mine. Cable management is somewhat hard. Getting open air, the fans are really loud. Since of the plastic L brackets the optical drives sit on and the metal rails holding them in, My Veris drive would not go in all the way with no modification. Stated by Antec, you can spot a optical drive in sideways. You can, but if you install a 120mm fan in the spots on the doors in front and behind the drive the doors would not close. Had to remove them. My tall CPU cooler would not permit me to install the prime two fans on the side panel. Also CPU cooler produced me install the prime fans on outside of case. "Eyesore" Also if you install top rated fans on the outside or a rad it is challenging to use the rear manage. Plastic could have been a tiny stronger. With the cheaper plastic and the air mount method for the tough drives mixed with the reality immediately after installing top fans on outside or a rad on leading and blocking rear handle.... Doesn't appear to be the very best LAN Party case. Would have been good to of had metal tabs or anything like that to slide the back of side doors onto case then use a couple thumb screws in front instead of 6 thumb screws total. I’m in and out of my case a lot, type of a discomfort. With a couple of parts from MNPCTECH, newegg, and other internet purchases you can dress it up some but got to get inventive if your gonna heavy mod it. Not impossible although. Last although, DO NOT zip tie wires till your carried out. I zip tied a few and had to cut them off. I advocate you have every little thing installed so you can have all your wires in place and get an concept on exactly where to run them and attempt and hide them.

Infinite approaches to customize this case, I stuck it below my desk sideways and the case allowed me to mount the DVD drive, fan controller and card reader facing out the side rather of the front. The open air design and dozens of fan mounts allowed me to preserve my more than clocked comp. cool while rendering out huge scenes. wish the fans it came with had yellow LEDs to match the case. Wish it came with a couple of much more five.25 rails for expansion; adding a second dvd drive or so. Cable management takes a few minutes, but it comes with a handful of decent wire ties that start out to support.

I really like how this case comes absolutely apart, setting up my computer was considerably additional simpler than with other builds. The stock fans are extremely quiet, even on the high setting. If you are going to get additional fans, make confident they are either low decibel or you get a fan controller so you can adjust the RPMs since I can see certain set ups getting quite noisy. Cable management is a chore. I would say that a modular power provide is almost a need to. I ended up spending a lot far more time organizing and hiding cables in this case than any other create. This case is really light and customizable. It will fit any graphics card on the marketplace appropriate now.

Looks good, the handles make moving it around straightforward, the modular style makes it much easier for you to deside how you want to set it up, totally free floting hard drives is a good touch and lots of additional HDD mounts, positive air-flow functions nicely, just don\'t forget to pick up something to use as filters in front of the fans. Needs more space among the mobo and the back-side of the case for cable management, requirements more of a gap in between the bottom of the mobo and a brace so you can run the 12v cable behind the mobo I didn't obtain mine from newegg mainly because it wasn't avalible thru them at the time, but I fell that you all really should know how I fell about it. This is a excellent case, I appreciate the positive air-flow and the free-floting HDD mounting. It does have some cons. but most will have to do with cable management, if your creative and buy some cable ties along with some tie retainers it wont be an problem. The little tool box in the front of the case is cool to have for future builds, so you have all of your extra screws for later, please read the manual ahead of tearing into this thing, I didn't and had difficulty locating the screws needed to place my program together until I realized that what I required was in the tool box after reading the manual.

By far the easiest case I have worked with. It has excellent cable management and great air flow. Comes with five fans and 4 of them you are able to adjust the speed so I believed that was a good feature. It also has handles on the top of the case so it is incredibly easy to move. There isn't a complete lot of space amongst the motherboard tray and the back panel so when you manage your cables i suggest spreading them out a bit. I not only purchased this case simply because i thought it was cool but i also bought it since i assume I am going to use this case for a quite extended time.Best case I have ever owned.

I have been studying computers and creating them for a whilst now. I am a networkin important at a university and my life is based around computers. I have to honestly say that this case was a pleasure, and a privilege to function with. It is sturdy, it is effortless to configure and manage cables, it comes with enough screws/drive bays+air mounts to help an army of attachments. I was expecting the added tool kit to just be storage space and a handful of additional standoffs+mounting screws. But no, it included a plethora of screws and accessories and is situated conveniently at the bottom. The air mount program is amazingly innovative and will be observed in several situations to come I'm confident. Cable management is every thing we've come to anticipate from antec, just as seen in the 1200 case it is lovely. The handles are great and can be removed if you wish, the mesh is plastic but feels like a thin metal and I hit it a handful of occasions and no bending/breaking to boot. It's trustworthy and sturdy.A+ job. Just to put one thing here I would say perhaps do the following:Consist of an adapter to connect the fans together to go into one particular energy supply port because I had to connect them back to back and then to a modular port on my PSU (looks a bit tacky) (My PSU didn't come with additional than 1 molex modular cord which could be easily remedied with a new PSU or a new molex cord but everything else on this case was convenient, why not that? I plan to keep this case for a extended time and just preserve upgrading parts inside of it. My GPU (GTX 580) idled at about 47C in my old case and so far idling with the fan controls all on low speed I see 39C on my GPU and a CPU temp drop of 11C idling too. I am incredibly pleased in the cooling capabilities and the efficiency/utility of this case. I spent a lot of time on this evaluation and I believe this case was worth just about every bit of my added time typing this out.Thank you Antec for a lovely case for my baby.Thank you Newegg for delivering good shipping (as often) and a good price on this lovely beast. Props to both.

Comment:
Overall this case is a good looking case. It was the easiest develop I've ever had. I like the mother board tray becoming removable, it produced it simple for assembly. As for temps, I've seen a 15C drop in temps on my 5870 Graphics card. I like the way the drives mount. I assume this will add to the life of my drives each in temps and shock mounting. I function professionally with rugidized systems and this is a very good begin on features we must be seeing in PC circumstances, to make our components last longer. As other people had said, the cable management is a small tricky. Wires everywhere. I was able to hide all but the drive wiring and the wires for the case fans. I'm not concerned about this since it is not a see into type box. But Antec must actually function on a greater set up for the distribution of wiring. All the case fans really should be prewired to connect to power in a single spot. Also, the case is smaller than my Antec 1200. This outcomes in my video card stretching into my drive bay location. All these are minor concerns and not vital, the 1 rub I do have is that they recommend that the PSU be set up to have the fan on the inside. I don't want something blowing warm air into my case under any condition. I think this was what made my water cooled case poor. A lot of the complaints here make no sense. Wiring is not ideal, but it does not effect the aesthetics. There is a lot of plastic, but there is a lot of plastic in any case. Plus most plastics are even far more durable than metals.Another issue to think about is that most air cooling styles are created to move air out of the box, so my zalman CPU cooler in fact now blows air into the rear fan which is blowing air correct at it. Not optimal. Perhaps a passive heat sink would be much better?Last thought, I purchased this case simply because my water cooled system was holding too substantially heat and resulted in unacceptable GPU temps. The open air design is excellent as extended as you can maintain positive air pressure on all components. So far I've observed excellent results on temps. This technique is superior than my water cooled. Nonetheless, I do own an Antec 1200, which is also superior with heat. If you just want a solid case, the Antec 1200 is the best case for the value.

The fans that come with this case are very quiet on their lowest setting, i was really surprised. Nicely placed and strong rubber pegs on the bottom of the case. Ive set it up so that the ROM-drive opens out of the side! Such an great function.Has a heavy really feel to it, the steel frame is incredibly rigid, and feels like it can be hit by an onslaught of vehicles prior to it folds.I underestimated the utility of the suspended-in-air drive function, but now im in-love with it.HDD's are running UP to ten°c cooler than the last case.GPU is definitely pleased that it has 2x120mm fans pointed at it now.Haven't noticed significant modifications in CPU temp 1-two°c lower at most, but the ambient internal case temp has dropped drastically, depending area temperature.Dust seems to collect on the outside steel mesh. exactly where it can be easily cleaned with a wipe. The all Black Interior makes dust visible and effortless to pursuit for clean up. Side panels are slightly far more flimsy than i want them to be.Side panel fan mounts are plastic extremely easy to break the threads, the threads are created by pointed screws that come with the case. Show care when tightening fan mounts as they wont "slow down" or "stop."Not a "tool"-much less design like numerous other situations on the market. Fan LED's are extremely vibrant and they don't scale in brightness as you turn up the fan speed, which i really like! The case is far heavier than i thought it would be. the Handles are like necessary to be employed when positioning as its so heavy and the side panels are fairly delicate. When installing or replacing hdd's be sure to start out from the bottom up, became really tedious and perhaps even unsafe to hdd's health as i produced a few dinks right here and there from tapping hdd's above the 1 i was installing.I was able to strip it down to just the color'ed frame, had enjoyable for a couple of weeks rearranging fans, hdd and motherboard positions.

Initially time I noticed this case a few months back, I knew I would be doing a build working with it. Been in the computer company for a number of years, retired from it about 7 years ago, but require a new "hot" video editing laptop or computer for a new 60p camera I bought. Began searching at all the parts I needed, and very first 1 on the list was Antec's Lanboy Air. Wanting to remain away from water cooling (for now anyway), I knew the next finest way to do that is to move enormous amounts of air to dissipate heat as rapidly as achievable. So, along with this case I bought the Noctua NH-U12P CPU cooler to preserve this cooler air moving although a quite huge CPU heatsink. Between these two jems, I am able to overclock (minimally) my AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition from stock 3.2GHz all the way to 4.154GHz!!! This is a completely stable overclock -- Run Prime95 for hours @ core temps of 56C. Max. There is more headroom here, but with out going to water cooling, I've about reached my limit. Superb selection!! I genuinely can't think of any genuine cons. I am going to acquire 4 more 120mm fans, 2 for the best of the case and 2 for the m/b side. The two on best will pull air up and out (same direction the Noctua NH-U12P is moving CPU heated air out of the case now) and the 2 side fans will blow in, to aid lower temps on the rear of the motherboard and CPU backplate. I have construct the ideal video editing pc I've ever utilized. A big component to this, is the Lanboy Air. Without having it, I would have to utilised water cooling to reach these completely stable speeds. If you would want to know far more about this develop, take a look at some youtube video I've put up. Search speedwingnet on youtube. Don't no if any of these comments are unacceptable, but it is all good information, so hope it flies. Great luck on your subsequent create.

Another reviewer mentioned there were only 6 "holes" for mobo screws. Not fairly right. Only 6 standoffs are preinstalled into the mobo backing panel. Nonetheless, the hardware box (bottom front of case, type of hidden) has plenty much more standoffs, so you can secure your mobo at all of its support points. None.

This case is wonderful! Plenty of space, cable management... The modular design genuinely opens up a lot of possibilities. The all-inward pointing fans factor is good! With the stock fans (including stock processor fan) my Phenom 1090T was idling around 17 degrees C (and lower!) It can't make me a sandwich. Overall this case fairly wonderful. The only factor I didn't like about it is the 赔 cost tag, but I guess you get what you pay for?

Every single has mentioned a ton of pros. So far I can't say a lot more than already written. No build in fan control, of all the situations that come with fan control, this 1 needs it. I have 7 fans up, all 120s running at 1000 rpm. I do not recognize why the side panels are 1 giant piece, as properly as the front side panels. All those panels really should be at least 3 pieces. Nonetheless nice, but might as well got 100% appropriate. My MB was just a hair tiny to make my Video card flush with the rear screw ins. I had to "Modify" my GPU bracket slightly, to make it work. Not like it was a large modification, it was about a 1Ǜ of an inch bend to make it flush. Theres a Usb 3. in the front panel, it has a four ft or so cable. Nicely I dont have a three. MB, so I got a lengthy as heck cable doing absolutely nothing inside. I would've loved a disconnect for it.The suspended Drive selections, appears like a gimmck. Once you attacha sata cable, and its power it sags slightly towards that side. Doesn't appear to impact something, but I doubt it's as useful as becoming in that "free" state but it's still suspended. I purchased this case for future expansions, I knew there was space...but this much space wow. If you obtain this case;ş Get a fan controller.Š Cable management is harder for this case, but be creative. I have a ton of ties, along with the instances almos secret like cable management possibilities it looks kinda cool. Get numerous ties, quite a few.I would've loved the leading to be modular as well, being able to take it off and or even have it in two parts.Yes I have some cons, and some suggestions. However this case has opened my imagination, and I keeps it cool...poor pun. This case is a fantastic as is, and has a ton of room for any MB, GPU, Cooling, ram, etc.

Fundamentally,I’d outgrown the generic case I was making use of, and wanted something more versatile that could handleincremental upgrades (as my salary enables!) For a case that I bought for function, I’m definitely veryhappy with the “form” as nicely when you get the case up-close and private.Let it be known that there are a TON of functions that although I’m not positive if I’ll use now (or ever), it’s nonethelessgood to have them to grow into or use with a future system.
