Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:loud at high speeds and when placed close to case openings
Pros:great powerful fan, moves air, selectable speeds Comment:
defeinitly a good fan, moves the air and you can choose the speeds you want. gets loud when turned up and should not be used as an intake fan placed directly over an opening. quieter than the scythe i have though |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:Loud on max
Pros:Quiet on lowEfficientCheap Comment:
These fans are a great value. The speed adjustment is very nice. I only used low cuz the other settings are louder, but low still moves a lot of air. Very good fan imo. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:Noisy.
Pros:Cheap, different speeds. Comment:
With this fan you get what you pay for. If noise is no issue then this is your fan. It can move a lot of air on high, but it's really loud. Even on low it's not that quiet and then it moves very little air. If noise is an issue keep looking. I replaced all of these out of my Antec P182. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:none
Pros:Work good, move lots of air, not too loud Comment:
I love these fans. I got 3 of them in my case (1 in front, 1 on the side, 1 on the back) and they do a pretty good job keeping the air moving and cooling everything. And you can get them price matched to $6.89 which makes them an even better deal. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-24-08 10:29 PM |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:- None
Pros:- Quiet- Three speed settings- Moves a good amount of air Comment:
The fan does its job. No flashy LEDs or anything like that, so if your looked for a simple fan, this is a good choice. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:You can only fit a certain number in one case :)
Pros:This fan is quiet, powerful, and cheap. Comment:
Wow, unbelievable. This fan is one the best fan you can buy in my opinion, super high RPM, very quiet, and moves a lot of air. For only 10 dollars you probably going to buy the best fan you've ever owned. I highly recommend this fan, I have about 5 of them and I can hardly hear my computer. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:loud at high speed
Pros:good airflow, cheap Comment:
On low settings, this fan performs relatively well. It's a pretty cheap solution and works quite well. At low fan speed, it's pretty much inaudible while maintaining . Once you crank the very convenient built-in fan speed controller up to medium or high though, this thing gets loud fast but does push an insane amount of air. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:Noisy on medium-high, startup problem on low, no 3-pin connection
Pros:Fan speed setting without the use of an external fan controller. Comment:
Three of these 120mm TriCool fans came with my P182 case (so I may have the wrong model here...keep that in mind). Mine are entirely black. I turned on my newly-built PC and was shocked at how quiet it was....until I discovered that NONE of the Antec fans were operating.Confused, I checked my power supply connection and all was good. I gave one fan a little spin with my fingers and it started up! Repeated for the other two fans. It seems that on the 'low' fan setting the fans are reluctant to start. The voltages from my power supply are all where they should be (I measured with a shop-grade calibrated multimeter), so it seems that there is some defect. The fans had no problem starting at the medium or high settings. There is very little fan noise on the low setting. Medium would be fine for most users with 1 or 2 fans. High setting is definitely on the loud side (for a 'quiet' fan, that is).Overall build quality of the fan is good. The only gripe I have is the power connector...I had to bend the pins (straighten them) in order to plug the unit(s) in to a standard 4-pin molex connector. I had to adjust pins on all three fans. On the bright side, the connector is a pass-through which means you can daisy-chain the fans in a space-conscious manner.Unfortunately, there is no 3-pin connector. I find the bulky 4-pin molex connectors quickly turn into a cable management nightmare when you add more than one fan, and you don't get any RPM monitoring.I purchased some Scythe S-Flex (1200 RPM) and Nexus Real Quiet (1000 RPM) fans to replace the stock TriCool fans. On the 'low' setting, the TriCool is quieter than either of these aftermarket fans at stock (12V) speed.Overall, I would recommend these fans to the average user who gets them with a case...they are much better than most stock fans that come with most computer cases. If you are a Quiet PC enthusiast, I would suggest looking elsewhere (i.e. an undervolted Nexus/Scythe/etc. fan). |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:- Loud at other settings other than LOW
Pros:+ Good air movement+ Quiet at LOW Comment:
What can I say, pretty good fan for the price. My only complaint is the noise level when set to anything greater than LOW. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Fairly quiet, nice connectors to motherboard for fan speed control. Came with everything I need to install in under 5 minutes. Comment:
I installed two of these in my Antec Sonata III case, the front one fit even with one the Palit 8800GT Sonic video card. With the on-board motherboard fan controllers, the case is quite an stays under 42 C inside. Even with a Overclocked Videocard and a overclocked Q6600. Would recommend and buy again. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:Loud on Med and HiHas a bad cfm / dba ratio.
Pros:Quiet on Low settingCool 3-Speed feature Comment:
One of the better fan's i bought.. but for the price, the Yate Loon would be better. Pushes a decent amount of air on low speed (1000rpm) nearly inaudible. Works great with q-fan control. The 3-speed thing feels a little cheap, but works fine. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:No rubber fan mounts.
Pros:Variable speed without a fan controller4 Pin molex or 3 pin motherboard plugin Comment:
I've been using these fans for so long since they came with my sonata2 and sonata3 chassis, and they are great. They allow you to vary the speed without reverting to a fan controller. I really cannot find any fault with them and its a good addition to your case for an intake fan. My only minor beef is that they do not include rubber fan mounting 'screws' but just the standard metal ones. If you search for E.A.R. here you will find them available by themselves. |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:Loud on med and high.
Pros:Blows air. Paid 4$, it works. Comment:
It's a fan, it blows air, it's loud on med and high. It comes with an on fan switch pigtail. The only reason I bought it is it was 4$ otherwise save u'r money. |

It is a prefect fan that requires less noise but not at the cost of not having decenmt air flow. This fan does both! |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:no blue LED... (lol)
Pros:good stable cooling solution, no blue LED Comment:
I actually ordered these by mistake – I wanted the blue LED version for a little more money. Kept them anyway (why RMA a -$5 product) and they function just as well as their blue LED counterparts. These fans are great for replacing stock case fans. Solid performers. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-06-07 12:25 PM |

Antec TRICOOL 120MM Case Fan
Cons:None
Pros:Inexpensive, Speed control. Comment:
A good fan with speed control. You can't go wrong when they are on sale. I am using this fan in a system where noise isn't an issue so I have it on the highest setting and it really circulates a lot of air. |
got some of these for antec sononta iii, i like that they have a clear look. the fan is good on low speed and kinda unbarable on high setting(i dont like having disturbing noise in the background). but these work great for a over heating case, expcet for the noise.
