Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Comment:
Lots of power, low heat, handles stress well, and has a low margin of error for actual power output. Solid and compact, and partly modular to boot. Does not function with Antec 900񳂠! 24 pin cable is as well short to be routed behind the motherboard tray. 8 pin energy is also too brief. But my largest beef is that the section that is not modular, all the cables eminate from the left side, although the back of the case is on the appropriate; it would be so considerably additional attractive if that mess of cables wasn't so dang obvious... Not everybody has a PSU on the bottom, so I guess if you are catering to everyone else who doesn't get bottom-mounted PSU cases, you're golden.

It operates nicely (See Other Thoughts).Plenty of additional modular cables.Very easily labeled rails for modular plugs. The blue LED(s) supply a light ambient glow. Not completely modular, loads of systems won't even need to have to use the further plugs unless using SLI. Specialist Web based Reviews show this PSU has great efficiency as properly as low noise and ripple. Active Energy Aspect saves power and voltages beneath low and high load keep almost great. There are several reports of high-quality components becoming put to use in this PSU and it has not given me any challenges so far. I only use about 50% of it's maximum load.

Ok...this unit is great. I researched power supplies for a long lengthy time ahead of I created my selection. I did analysis on American as nicely as German websites, which are acknowledged for their high quality-checks. I didn't want to invest too much money for a power supply, since you get the greatest ones for about 250-350 dollars. But seriously, if you are not working with 2-3 graphics cards, why spending so substantially cash. This PS has an efficiency between 82%-86%, which is terrific for a PS in this price tag category. Extremely stable, really reputable, and the Very best you can get for this funds, there is nothing greater out there. Even the CORSAIR PSs have smaller sized problems, even though quite well-liked and excellent quality. I couldn't uncover ANY challenges in ANY testimonials, let it be compatibility or good quality. It is also Quite little, the smallest 750W PS you can get, so NO compatibility concerns with any circumstances. The blue light finishes up its design. The only situation may well be the lenght of the 24 pin connector. You can't hide it incredibly properly behind the MB tray. It comes in a half modular design and style, which signifies you have to have some cable hanging around, which you don't use. (in my case only one particular, I identified a way to use most of them)...I think the modular style makes it so "effordable", which is not a con for me, because my NZXT Zero2 case doesn't have a window.

Lots of connectors, the cables are extended sufficient for a complete tower and plenty of power for what I use it for. non so far This power provide is truly a replacement from Antec. I had a neopower 650 blue for two years till it only died and wouldn't turn on any longer. It was still beneath the 3 year warranty so I sent it back to them and they shipped me this one particular with no hassle. Thanks for the excellent buyer support Antec

I did a lot of study to replace my non-running fan Ultra 500W p.s. prior to getting this 1. This drive has a green rating which utilizes significantly less power to get the job completed. It comes with several option connectors that you can add or take away to the provide. It is really fairly, and has the amazing blue light. None Luckily I have 4 extra fans running in my program when the last p.s. went out. Was able to retain it cool enough for no damage. This power provide comes with great support from the manufacturer.

This case is outstanding. I utilized it for my initial create. I've been attempting some overclocking with my method, and with stock air cooling and case fans on low I can hardly get temperatures ten degrees above ambient temperature. I love the 200 millimeter exhaust fan, and blue is my favorite color. Blue Leds can't be turned off as far as I've been in a position to inform. Not a huge difficulty except when my method wakes up and I'm trying to go to sleep. If you like to be capable to manage your case fans with your OS, then I recommend you appear elsewhere. If you want to change the fan speed you have to open the case up and find the switches. Not a actual dilemma for me, given low is much more than sufficient. There is a neat spot on major of the case. They don't advocate making use of it as a cup holder, but we all know what it is.

Its a great PSU, i adore the Blue lights. Everything worked out of the boxNote: You can save ฟ if you acquire the Antec 1200 750 Blue, But be warned since the Motherboard cables and 8ǚ pin connectors are NOT Lengthy Adequate to reach the motherboard The motherboard connections are too short and there was no require for an 8 pin and four pin when they could have just employed a fourƲPin It gets the job performed but demands a handful of adjustments

PWM Fan, Modular cables, Active Energy Aspect Correction, relatively quiet PCI-X cables are on identical rail and if you opt for not to use them they can't be disconnected (so you will have 4 PCI-X cables plugged in but two in use). This may possibly not be an concern if you don't have a high amp gfx card. If you like colored lights this is pretty bright.

Reasonably little compared to other 750W provide's. Really quiet. I was making use of a BFG energy supply until now and i cant think how quiet this supply is compared to that a single. Fantastic cable length's for mid tower instances. Partially modular design.lot of modular cables supplies. 80 Plus Bronze is yet another perk. Both the 4 pin and EPS 8 pin are not modular. You have to tuck one particular away. Would have liked it if the eight pin cable was a tiny longer. It is fine for my coolermaster HAF922 but i'm quite sure owners of full tower circumstances are going to face complications. But i'm not gonna knock out an egg for that. I was aware of this even before i purchased it and i don't think i will need to have a bigger case than the HAF922 anyway. Would have liked it if the LED could have been switched off, but for the price 鲨.95) it's a steal! This looks like a truly excellent power supply. Shall update if i have any issues

The default connector was enough to power my whole system. There are also three expansion ports to add far more connectors. The connectors on the wires could be a little a lot more spaced out. I had to move my DVD drive to get the cable to reach. The mobo cables are fairly rigid, generating them hard to handle for good airflow. The mounting screw holes were in an awkward location and didn't very line up ideal in my Antec 900 case.

Not a dilemma, worked perfectly. I hooked up every thing I could to it. three HDD, two DVD, 1 Cardreader, CPU - I5, Radeon 5830 and ALL in an Antec 902 case. IT's a gaming computer so I like all the lights. Saves power like a champ. Goes into sleep mode and all the lights go off and will rapidly come back on with the motion of the mouse. None. Really quiet. Great investment for a 750W on a gaming pc. Impressively does the job.

Initial aftermarket powersupply I have purchased in YEARS! I know its not anything new... but the modular power cables are great! what a good concept. Other reviewers complained that the cables werent lengthy adequate for the Antec TwelveHundred... I can see that getting the case for a full size tower like that. I got the CoolerMaster Storm Scout and the cables are a lot long sufficient... I took the time to properly run all the cables by means of the power management holes and have them all hidden behind the mobo tray... they were all a lot long enough! none so far. i guess the fans could be far better and it could have come with the side vent fans... but come on... who utilizes stock fans anyway! :) Constantly do cable managment in your case... I thought it was bull but I recently had some down time (office possessing carpet put in) so I had nothing at all to do... I opened her up and ran all the cables by way of behind the mobo tray... dropped all round temp by about 5c! I honestly couldnt believe it.

Functions as described. A lot of cables. Cabels are wrapped in black. Make positive you use 6" extension cables for the 24 and eight pin power connectors if you have full tower with a bottom mount PSU. Newegg sells a kit for Ů. It makes installation alot less complicated in a complete tower. The standard length will operate, but you wont be able to run them neatly behind the motherboard with out the extention cables. Its extremely modest at 6" lengthy. It only requires up half the allocated space on the bottom of my Antec 1200. It sits 6" away from my tough drives and leaves plenty of space for water cooling or whatever.

Blue illumination if you like that stuff. Nit choose. Would like to see far more plug connectors to further minimize clutter and unused cables. Antec is slowly obtaining there.Odd that the Blue (Aqua) LED in the Antec energy supply is a unique blue in the Antec 900 situation fansn

This is a great power provide, the blue LED looks great, matches my antec 900 case. It's extremely hard to come across a great brand modular PSU with four 6 pin connectors in this cost range. Operating two HD4870s I require all of them. I was happy paying 贎 and now it's even cheaper. It would be great if the fan blew out the case as an alternative of in. I'm only using one particular HDD and one ODD so I nonetheless have a handful of unused cables, would be nice if there had been a lot more modular ones. I paid 贎 and now it's less costly. steady, secure energy; it runs, runs quietly, and doesn't cease running; buying from Newegg, which is the greatest doable insurance coverage if troubles arise energy cable to motherboard is huge, thick, and a challenge to location elegantly inside the Computer case, but that's not a big problem, and the nature of the beast anymore I am a massive Antec fan, really loyal to their cases and energy supplies. I am fairly pleased with this unit, which I currently have installed inside an Antec Twelve Hundred case. Good. Highly advised.

Lots of power but only when it requirements it, 80% effective, stable voltages. Lengthy cables (pro & con) Not modular adequate. Need to have some type of modular, modular cable, so if you have only a single sata you can eliminate the 4 additional on the same wire, to make it shorter or w/eWhy a 8-pin and a four-pin CPU connector? Why not just a fourƲ-pin?? Far more additional unused cable at the bottom of my situation. Though the "snake skin" cover adds protection and keeps the wires with each other, it also tends to make them challenging to twist and bend in the direction you want them to go. Only had it for a day and a half but it appears to be going sturdy. Easily powering a Phenom II 940, Foxconn Destroyer, 4 sticks of 8gbs ddr2 1066, geforce 9800gtx+ OC, 6 fans, and five usbs, should easily power considerably more. As other individuals have mentioned, the LED color doesn't match the blue of the antec case, seems rather silly, but no big deal. Wall cord could be a foot or two longer imo.
