Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Comment:
There arent any This power supply went on me two months right after i bought it. I sent it back to Antec and they sent me the very same one back in working condition. Today fourǛቦ it did the identical thing smoke/flash/pop. I will never ever ever ever ever purchase one more PSU from Antec again. The second time it went it was in a completey distinct build then the very first time.I function for a pc repair shop. Manufacturer Response:We are sorry that you had a problem with the TP 750Blue. It is incredibly unusual to have two go bad. Antec was rated number one in an independent ranking of PSU reliability conducted last year, less than 1% defective rate. Please contact us at 1-800-22-ANTEC for our live tech support, so that we can assist. Even advanced users sometimes encounter complications that take additional help to solve. Our power supplies are protected by over current protection on (OCP) the 12V rails--single rail designs are not. Several manufacturers disguise that truth by including OCP on the low existing three.3V and 5V rails but not on the 12V rail, with up to 70 amps or much more. If a power supply with OCP encounters a short it will shut down and not harm other components. If this customer had a brief in his method (the noise he heard may possibly have come from that) the PSU would shut down protecting his program from further damage. In that case he can be glad he had an Antec and not a single rail design.

Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Cons: the cables are too rigid.

Pros: the Look of case.
Comment:
The case is very solid, LED color gives a beautiful look. The wire seem to be good quality but the wire are a little too rigid that complicates connections. The ventilator is not too noisy.Efficiency 80-Plus Bronze certified, stable voltages and SLI Certified is good!

Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Cons: It's actually only semi modular

Pros: Quiet, solid performance, ridiculously good looking
Comment:
Compared to my old Enermax (truly) modular PSU this unit is more like a regular power supply with a pile of dedicated (and hardwired) connections for the MOBO, drives and peripherals. It only becomes "modular" if you run extra drives or more than 2 graphics cards. That being said, I'm pretty happy so far as I did require the extra connections for some of the 5 drives I have in my box. It seem to be quite happy and is powering my GTS450 without any trouble, which is what spurred the upgrade in the first place. It's noticeably quiet and glows a lovely blue... At least it doesn't have randomly flashing LEDs like the goofy Netgear router on my desk (which I got for 5 bucks at a garage sale)...All in all, it's a keeper.

Antec TruePower New TP-750 Blue 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
Cons: * not 100% modular (but I have used almost all of the non-modular cables)

Pros: * solid build quality* quiet
Comment:
Purchased this PSU almost 3 months ago. And haven't got around to install it until recently. It is very quiet. Good quality cables (as far as feel goes... since I'm not into real technical testing of cables). I am not a big fan of the blue LED, but this was cheaper than the non-LED one. When purchasing this PSU, I didn't even looked at other brands. I used an Antec Sonata (with 380 Antec PSU) in my previous desktop and it has been rock solid for 7 years! So I figured, Antec was the way to go again.

Cons:None so far

Pros:Very quiet, lots of power
Comment:
I've owned this for over 2 months and it's solid. I don't overclock or go crazy with my system, and this has more than enough power for me. It runs quiet, has all the quality buzzwords you could ever want, and glows blue. I'm sold. I'm confident that this will do me well for the next couple years.
