Arctic Silver 5 HIGH-DENSITY Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound 3.5 Gram
Cons:-There are now even better alternatives, But this was about as good as it got just a year or 2 ago
Pros:+Easy to use+Covers allot of CPUs/GPU's Comment:
Been using this for years. Only recently have newer and even better thermal compounds come out. AS5 still provides great thermal performance and is easy to apply(since its not too liquidly) |

Arctic Silver 5 HIGH-DENSITY Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound 3.5 Gram

Cons:None
Pros:Cheap3.5 Grams of this will last me a long time Comment:
I am using this with my Core 2 E6750 and the stock HSF. At idle i get around 24C and 40C under load for extend periods. I take these temperatures with a grain of salt though, these temps seem really low to me. Reported by Asus PC Probe and in the bios. |

I purchased this to replace my MX-1 included paste. Temperatures are good, but they actually got a bit worse, even after burn in. I would highly recommend MX-1 or MX-2 if you have the choice between them.
