Purchased this to reinstall my CPU when my Mobo broke. It didn't come with any docs, but I located the pdf on the web for quantity, and so forth. It operates fine and my technique runs as great as it did when it was "professionally" built. Actually, no troubles and I nevertheless have a lot of the tube left for when my friend has me construct her computer. None, it didn't burn a hole or otherwise destroy something. This wouldn't have been a purchase if Cyberpower utilised reputable components. I had to send my mobo back twice and both mobo's didn't perform. But this was the 1st time I've ever replaces a CPU so I'm glad its operating swimmingly. Its operating below a watercooling method and 775 quad core proc.

I removed the paste from the stock fan, then applied this goop to the CPU. I put the stock fan back on. Uncomplicated as that and it cooled a more effectively ƕ or 6 degrees). Absolutely worth the five bucks. five eggs up!? None! This functions excellent and as expected. Not sure if I paid shipping for this... it came in a box with a bunch of other stuff I ordered! This single tube will be far more than sufficient for a number of these i5's.

Don't be afraid of the ū.99 price tag. Even though in most circumstances with laptop or computer related goods you get what you spend for, from time to time when buying high-priced items you don't get what you spend for. I employed this on a Phenom II 940 operating at the stock three.0ghz and stock cooler. First, I ran the system for a week with the stock compound (or tape) on the cooler, and then utilized this stuff in its spot following cleaning off the old compound with with isopropyl alcohol and placing a dab of this stuff the size of three BB's or so in the center of the CPU.I utilised Everest to do a one hundred% cpu pressure test. The end outcome was that working with this compound resulted in highest core temperatures being 2C less below complete load than stock paste. This tells me that not only is it working, but it performs good. None. If you are operating ice cold already, it's not probably that this will assistance you (or any compound). Thermal compound will only do so considerably for you, and even then high priced ones aren't likely to fair substantially superior than this one particular does (I know due to the fact I've utilized high priced compound). If this compound doesn't function out for you, then some thing else is incorrect with your setup. For me even though, an unequivocally verified 2C drop from compound alone is massive.

How can you go incorrect, wonderful brand, great item. I only required a tiny compound for my Zalman, got this, and it works wonderful. Plenty left more than for anything else I may well need to have it for. Doesn't taste very good. If you get it on your hands or some thing, and it gets a opportunity to set, can be tricky to get off. excellent consistancy, spreads nicely. do obtain

Keeps temps in verify. Right now I am running an Intel Core i5-760 with a Coolermaster TX3 HSF. The highest temperature I have seen at this time is 58C though operating Prime95. This is in the hottest area in my house. Most of my cores idle at around 26C. None Make confident you obtain an aftermarket cooler. They are so substantially greater than the stock ones.

Multi-use, keeps temperatures in examine (even with over-clocking), and effortless to take care of. Also retailers quite well with the replaceable end-cap. Have utilized one tube on five various system builds. Fantastic product! None. The thermal paste is only as fantastic as the heatsink/fan you are using. Don't believe the paste will solve ALL of your heating issues.

simple applicator, saw difference appropriate away following replacing the stock Intel thermal compound on each my e8400 and e 4500. Wiped off the Intel paste from the processor and Intel HSF, put a dab of Artic Silver, and lowered my avg temps by five to ten degress celsius! Need to have concentration and muscle manage to gently squeeze out just a drop - also significantly pressure and half the tube goes out. I'm hooked on this stuff now. First time to use it and I am pleasantly shocked how efficient this product turned out to be.

Non-conductive (electrically). Secure to use exactly where normal Arctic Silver is frowned upon. Nonetheless greater at heat transfer than most no-name silicon junk. Not as excellent as the classic Arctic Silver five or some of the newer supplies like MX-two (I use all for various purposes).
