Asus M3N72-D nVidia nForce 750a SLI PCI-E Socket AM2+

I had to send the first one back because of an unfixable problem, but those things happen now and again. This retailer was great about it and sent the new one right away and credited my account as soon as they had received it. The second one has been great. I am running a Phenom IIX4 920 on the board. It is a great combination, fast and stable through anything I can put it through in Photoshop, Illistrator or InDesign. The only thing I wish was different was the addition of one more PCI expantion slot. My graphics care has a fan on it that covers part of one of the available slots rendering it unusable.

I got this mobo with the phenom x4 9600 bundle, was good deal, replaces my much older cpu (athlon 64 single core). Was disapointed with the lack of mouse port, i used an older wireless mouse/keyboard but cant use anymore, wth were they thinking? thats cheap as dirt piece to have on board. Expected more from asus.

This board worked good, but the output on the audio is not very load. I think my old board asus m2n68-vm is way louder(I plug into 140 watts opf strero). When they went from 1600/2000 MTs to the 5200 MTs they sacrificed some audio out put. So I bought an audio card, because I suppose the next board I get will do the same thing. Othere than that, this worked great.

There is more to be said than I can say here with one thousand characters. I love this board. It came as a barebones tiger combo. The 750a, (which is comprable to early eight series nvidia grahics cards) is awsome when used as a physics card for hybrid SLI. The power saving featuers make noise levels and the electric bill drop. The overclocking features are great, be sure to buy SLI DDR2 optimized ram for the best experience. There is an option for SLI optimized ram in the bios! Great overclocker, plenty of options, use the included ASUS AI software for easy on the fly overclocking. Smart cable routing is a must for large graphics cards in SLI. The lower row of connections will be tight and cover by larger cards, but everything will be functional. Running two XFX GTX 260 cards with great results, can switch to hybrid sli to save power. Everything you need to setup is in the box, including an SLI bridge cable! Put a phenom II in, 1066 ram, a sata hd, and enjoy.

I installed this on my very first build and it's great! No real problems and the features (software) it came with is great! And for the price I paid, can't beat it!

Somewhat picky on the ram. I ran OCZ 4gig 8500 but it flaked out with stock settings so I replaced the ram with Crucial Ballistix and managed 1066 settings 5-5-5-15 2.1v! I have yet to put a phenom II on this board there are more oc options with that processor. Set the front panel audio to standard or the sleep mode will fail (must be due to audio jack sensing) Like I put in the title this is a great board for intermediate overclockers it has function and stability for the money. Throw a cooler on the FSB and you got a real good gamer board!

The mobo works great, you wont have any troubles with preformance, but the placement of things on the mobo is quite odd and makes you wonder why in the world would they do that. But this works with my gtx 280 and thats all I really needed it to do.

For the most part this board did as described. Had an issue with the onboard ethernet connector, with a recent Windows Vista upgrade. Other than that this board is really good.

This was my first build and this motherboard works like a charm, boots right up and had no problems also great for future upgrades w/ its sli capabilites. good buy for a good price.

I got the motherboard installed everything then turned my system on , i was happy it turned on then i went to install vista... after getting multiple errors i called asus tech support , they suggested i take the dvd drive and hard drive out of the computer and place it in another one then see if i get the error. i had success doing this and found out that the motherboard had driver issues. I wasted 6 hours to figure this out and now i have to wait 3 more days to get a new motherboard. tigerdirect support was kind enough to handle the issue and my new board is on its way. hopefully this one will work.

I bought this and I Quad core AMD and it preformed excellent for me. Of course because ASUS is one of the best motherboards so you really cant to wrong

This was my first build. The instructions were straightforward and everything worked right away. Definitely a good value. I would recommend buying an audio card though. The realtek audio is OK, but not the greatest.

Ive built a LOT of computers. This board was simple and straightforward to setup. The manual was the most extensive Ive ever seen with a mobo; a VERY welcome surprise! Everything worked on first boot. The realtec audio is as usual pretty weak so get a dedicated sound card. Dedicated video is a must if you are a gamer. However, the integrated sound and video are nice for those on a budget. All in all, an excellent board!

I have used this board for a couple of months now and have built numerous systems. A completely trouble free build and even better it impressed me and all who have been over to see it. Asus nailed this one! The "Splashtop" browser accesses the internet without having to "boot-up" the operating system...very fast. I WOULD AND HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS BOARD to first time builders as well as seasoned veterans. Tiger Direct...keep it up!

This motherboard is my first motherboard that I have used. Let me tell you... So far... I have had the best experience from ASUS and TigerDirect. My first pc is all TIGERDIRECT products and their customer service is outstanding. Thank you TD and ASUS. Gj Guys

I got the board to replace an older board because the cooling system was dieing. This board was a huge step up in performance. Note this board is meant for Vista not all the software will work on XP, and for those who do not know physical SLI (2 GPU cards) will work on this board. Well worth the money, also black board looks sweet in my case. If board lasts long enough will use in my Windows 7 build.

ordered one of these and upon arrival the video card was bad and I got nothing when booting up. Got the replacement and now a little over a month later the included video card has gone bad again. One bad card = bad luck. Two bad cards = bad product. don't waste your money on this one.

This board was awesome, it worked right out of the box and has tons of features to boot. Asus makes rock solid products. Got here earlier than UPS said it would.

Great board for first time builders. Started up on the first try, only downside is it take a minute to post because of express gate. Overall Great board for the price.

Returned to Asus when it stopped working....will not warrant it do to damage they said....if you buy this, examine IT under a microscope CAREFULLY because if they see ANYTHING at all they DENY WARRANTY COVERAGE

I've played w/ computers most of my life, but this is my first build and i'll tell you what I couldn't be happier. I'm running this motherboard w/ the phenom 920 cpu, the 750 watt Fatal1ty ps, 8 gigs of ocz ram, 2 1gig 9800gt video cards and the Xfi platinum sound card and this thing has speed beyond belief and talk about awesome. Last but not least vista 64 ultimate os. Worth every bit of the 3 grand i spent to build my computer. Been a gamer all my life and couldn't be happier.

Love it, only thing i dont like about it is the power to it... have a big cpu fan and the power from the power supply to the MoBo its pushing against the fan =( but overall awesome MoBo running a XFX Geforce 260 Video Card runs awesome Thanks Tigerdirect
