Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500Super fast! Running multiple applications and watching video and it runs fast and smooth. Bought an oversized, silent cooling fan and the temperature remains low regardless of what I throw at it. Great Buy!

THIS THING IS DIRT CHEAP!
Comment:
ASUS P5KPL-AM SE MotherboardIt really is. Cheap price wise- that is. As far as performance, I have had 0 issues with this board. Performed great right out of the box, and exceeded all of my expectations when it comes to speed. Partnered it with an E5300 Processor and 4GB of DDR2. It was intended to be a work computer, but I can play some not-so-graphically intense games on it too. Running it with Windows 7 Basic (cause I'm cheap), and I have no problems. Great board for a first build or a non-gaming or very lite-gaming system. Well worth the money.

Core Duo bests Dual Core
Comment:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500It was new MoBo time and time to return to Intel-only guts... so out with my faltering $24-after-rebate-back-in-2008 and in with a 775 socketted Intel DG435NB and it's faster FSB stats. My first build, a Socket 480 P$ at 3Ghz, still covered me well waiting for the new MoBo to ship. The Intel DG435NB said it was good for Pentium D's... well not exactly, and my 3.2Ghz PD was not on the list when I finally checked at the Intel website... so I went for the Core Duo E7500 and it has been been great... the computer surfs, rips and converts formats noticeably faster. I don't game except for Farmville on Facebook and that experience is definitely much improved because of the faster performance of this chip and board. Also must mention that even with the ''slower'' shipping time involved when one qualifies for free shipping,

Not used to Maxtor quality from Seagate
Comment:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 750GB HDGot two of these and 2 500GB. 1 died within 2 weeks, another died within two months. Have another making noise, don't expect it to last long. Have had more problems with Seagate in the last 2 months than in the previous 10 years total. They quickly and at no cost (not even shipping) replaced the first one. The second had to RMA to Seagate (quickly replaced but at over $11 shipping, and for a repaired drive).Looks like I'll be using WD until Seagate can get a reliable product back.

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 got this as part of a barebone kit. put it on a Gigabyte G41M-ES2L MB. used the heat sink that came with it, didn't like how the heat sink secured to the MB. but it works and have no heat issues.

Good quality for price
Comment:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 Processor BX80571E7500 I have owned this processor for just about six months. The only problem I have had was my fault because I did not have the fan above it properly seated for the first two days and it ran hot. I appreciate the speed of this processor in an upgrade from a single core hyperthreading 3Ghz. I have no complaints for the price I paid and the product I got.

Comment:
Apex PC-375 Black Mid-Tower Case This is a really great case for the $, as people have said it is a little flimsy, but plenty good for the average user! The only beef I had was that the the FP-USB connector was barely long enough to reach the motherboard, also the side panel is a pain to get on and off!

ASUS P5KPL-AM SE Motherboard I bought this as part of a bare bones system from T.D. It came with an Intel dual core E5300 processor, 2Gb of memory (PC5400), case, and powersupply; all for $200. I put Windows 7 Pro 32-bit on it. This is my wife's PC which is used mainly for email, light word processing and chat utilities. I migrated the wireless g card from our old Pentium III system to this. She is now able to video chat with her family overseas perfectly with the wireless. It also handles non-BD movies from our home server via the wireless with no issues. It is the perfect replacement PC for the type of tasks that she does. Great performance for the money.
