Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 750GB HDThis is a very fast Hard disk, and very reliable. It is faster than my not too old Western Digital Blue 320gb, (In testings, WD reads up to 80mb/s and Seagate up to 115mb/s). Vista SP2 x86 and Seven RC1 x64 boots very fast too.

It's a good case for anyone with a budget. Without a budget get an Ultra or Thermaltake, you will see the difference, but it won't improve performance in any way.

Apex PC-302 Black Mid-Tower CaseThis case does provide mounting points in the front and rear, but does not include fans. It does not support the larger 120 mm fans. It supports 80 and 92 mm. The front USB and Audio ports are under a door at the bottom of the case. If the case will be on the floor, they are not easy to reach. The door opens toward the top, so you cannot see the ports unless you get on the floor. This is a poor design, but otherwise the case is sturdy and roomy. Drives mount directly into the case without the need of any carrier. Depending on your needs, this could be a good thing, or bad.

Once I figured out that it was this memory, everything went better after I replaced the memory with RAM that actually worked. Bummer is, it came in the Barebones Kit. Should have worked but didn't. The other Kingston RAM that I have purchesed has been fine, no issues.

Apex PC-302 Black Mid-Tower CaseI have been using Apex cases for 10 years. what nobody mentions in reviews is the ease of the build with this case, MB, drives, etc. installed in 17 minutes! the audio connector for the front panel is one molded plug(Cooler Master isn't, for more $ too) there are vents on the front of this model, add a fan and the HDD stays cool. Case has good ventilation just have more fans blowing in than out. This is an easier to build Case that most available anywhere, light like an aluminum case but not flimsy like cases Geeks.C@M sells and priced right too. Power supplies are decient for a everyday setup but not for gaming rigs(given). BTW it looks like an Compaq Desktop case doesn't it?
