Kingston PC6400 800MHz 4GB DDR2 Desktop Memory If you don't have special needs (eg. overclocking), this memory works fine. Memory installs easy, runs cool (less heat load means less cooling needs, which means less noise), and hasn't had any problems so far. Low profile form factor also is convenient to help reduce clutter inside the case.

Apex PC-302 Black Mid-Tower Case It's not fancy, it's not great looking, but it gets the job done. Lot's of space, well built, came with all needed mounting hardware and had the pinouts for the power, led, HD etc etc. No issues otherwise.

I dual boot with the Vista 32bit and windows 7 64bit both operating systems are noticeably faster. The windows score has also improve by 2 points. I might consider two more to replace the original ram the PC came with

Apex PC-302 Black Mid-Tower Case The case itself is good for a budget build but not as sturdy as I would have liked. The metal drive bay covers were a pain to pop out and left sharp edges. It would have been nice to have a case fan included. The case interior has a lot of room and made it easy to work in. I opted to put a larger power supply in and didn't use the one included.

ASUS P5KPL-AM SE Motherboard This is an inexpensive board. Given that, it set up very easily and has been stable so far. Components are of good quality. Feature count is low. No floppy controller and only 2 SATA ports, but hey, this is microATX (lots of USB ports). Surprise, you don't need to mess around with installing SATA drivers -- they're in the BIOS, gosh what'll they think next next (and maybe they could think of the next thing sooner). After I figured out that it wouldn't boot because a memory stick was dead, I had no problems with the board. I'm very happy with this board

Apex PC-302 Black Mid-Tower Case This case I must say is one of the easiest when it come to mounting from a micro to a full atx lots of room for both hard or optical drives but the front planel is extremely flimsly and the side clips break when removing so watch out for that usb ports are on the bottom but are spaced apart nicely so you can insert two usb attachments with ease PSU is well built for everyday use and can be replaced for gamming builds, NO case fans and slde planels are different from the picture but add a couple of fans and it keeps everything nice and cool. Would not personally use this case for anything but above a normal household or home office build.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 750GB HD I bought a pair of drives to use in RAID 1 to mirror data. I was working on a PhD dissertation and didn't want to risk a freak failure. I thank my lucky stars I did that. The first failed in about 2 months, and the second died after 4. I also have (had) an external Seagate drive... it lasted 9 months before dying. I wouldn't wish this brand on my worst enemy, and if you have one, please, please have an effective backup scheme in place.

Kingston PC6400 800MHz 4GB DDR2 Desktop Memory It is strange to see the price going up and up for this memory. Kingston's failure rate has been going up with the price. We were all buying it primarily because we knew the voltages and timings were right for the Intel boards, but now the other popular manufacturers are catching on and offering compatible memory for Intel boards. I don't buy Kingston anymore because I had 3 bad sticks out of the last 12 purchased. That is waaaaay to high.

Use it for my home computer needs and you can't beat it for the price. Running W7 and it just fires up in seconds. For the price this little guy works great for the home user.
