more than all this is a great monitor i use it as a 2nd monitor also have my xbox 360 and directv hddvr connected to it for a small gaming or tv although functioning. image is fantastic lcd with led backlight operates and looks wonderful on games as well as movies in full 1080p hd no actual complaints other than the onboard speakers are actually negative for sound unless your utilizing it just for daily laptop or computer sounds i dont advise employing them at all over all asus hit it out of the park with this monitor i cant complain ive had it about 3 months no issues or dead pixels

Speakers are laughable at very best, but I bought a monitor. So if you are hunting for brilliant speakers on a monitor this isn't for you. I will not give it a lesser rating though mainly because of the speakers. I game with headphones.

Like other people have mentioned, the image excellent is amazing. Practically as great as my XBR4... Nothing yet.... When I first hooked this up, the sound and video excellent sucked badly. Immediately after i installed all the drivers from my construct, almost everything came together really nicely. The sound level is about the same you get from a typical laptop, so don't expect tv level volume from this. I got pretty substantially exactly what I wanted from this monitor.

Ordered 2 of these - each displays have a clean, crisp picture but speakers on 2nd one are making a continuous popping / crackling noise regardless of volume or if a sound source is connected. Forced to RMA 2nd screen. Avoid monitors with built in speakers unless definitely needed.

This monitor is awesome. Crystal clear image with bright levels spread evenly across the screen. Displays HD videos with no a hitch. Menus straightforward to navigate the moment you get the buttons figured out. Buttons themselves are low profile under the monitor and the blue power light doesn't shine in your face when the monitor is on. Could look minor but I appreciate the truth there are only 3 stickers on the edge of this issue. Time from unpacking to completely functional 1920x1080 display set the way I like ӱ minutes. Stand appears strong when you attach it but when supporting the monitor it can wobble a bit. Speakers are terrible but I knew that going in. No HDMI cable but again I knew that going in. For cost/performance these are minor annoyances that imo don't warrant an egg loss. At this price the overall performance is outstanding. Shipping was rapid rapid quick! Received in 2 days! Product was packaged nicely, worked out of the box, and no dead pixels. This is why I do company with the Egg. Preserve up the fantastic work.

Firstly, don't buy these and expect much from the speakers; they suck. Horribly. The interface (vol controls) are terrible to use and they sound like something from 1970.That said, these things are gorgeous to look at it. I love 'em. I use them for day to day development and gaming without complaint. Definitely worth the price.

This is a nice looking monitor that has a great picture for 95% of what you do with it. Gaming, meh. It's a bit grainy and I am only playing World Of Warcraft on it. My video card is a GTX550TI so it has loads of output, the monitor just doesn't have a fast enough rate I guess. It's still a lovely looking monitor, it weighs 1 pound less than my last one which was only a 18" lcd. It also has HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs which is a nice touch.
