Awsome card, fair price
Comment:
This puppy has the edge, I can diffidently play any game I want now. went from 6100 to 9800, huge boost, my computer is suddenly way faster at games, Oblivion full of graphics mods, played just cause 2 everything high, AA 14x, totally smooth. getting a GTX280 is overkill, this is just what you need. (for anything)

Great inexpensive video card upgrade!
Comment:
I used this to upgrade my system from the mobo's onboard HD 4200 graphics system. My criteria was low power consumption, then ''will it fit in my HTPC case'' and finally, performance. This card has shown itself to be a good choice all around, upgrading the graphics portion of my system in Windows 7 to 6.7 and making some more demanding games playable at reasonable settings and framerates. It isn't a top gamer's card, by any means, but for a budget it's a good way to go. The only issue for some (not me) is that it is a low power consumption card, which on the plus side means no additional power connector needed, but on the minus side means don't expect to overclock this card.

Nice upgrade for little cash
Comment:
If you want a really nice upgrade without breaking the bank, this is THE best bang for your buck. There is faster out there, but if you don't need $600 worth of fast, grab it.

BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GT BFGE981024GTGE Video Card
Cons:none so far

Pros:Good price, easy to install, runs cool and quite
Comment:
I wanted to get a newer video card to upgrade my on-board graphics to something that would run basic games at good res. My son has this card in his quad core system as well and has had no problems with it. Currently I am running BF2 Bad Company on med/high settings and this card seems to do just fine handling the demand. Although I know there are better cards out there, I'm not a huge gamer so this card is a massive improvement over my on-board grpahics.

Comment:
Great performance. nice and quite and easy to install. With my motherboard tho, this pci x slot was very close to my regular pci slots. So i pretty much lost the use of one. Not that it matters tho, i have other ones and i only use one for firewire anyway. Great card for most of the gaming today. WOW gets me a 160fps in most situations, and the duel monitor was an easy set up. just be sure you have your dvi cables, i forgot to order them and had to run to the store to get em. its cheaper online. hehe

Great video card and replacement service
Comment:
Great video card, works awesomely well with I3 extreme cpu with graphics core from here. 2nd week of running developed a overheating issue from a bad capacitor. A 10 min phone later and a replacement card was on the way. Awesome services.

Comment:
Not good implementation of this nVidia chipset. Fan noise, performance and quality are not worth the price, even with rebate. There are better alternatives that provide more value, performance, and quality. I have removed it from my machine. Makes nice paper weight!

BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GT BFGE981024GTGE Video Card
Cons:None

Pros:Low powerCheapFits in most cases
Comment:
Good card. Compatible with low wattage power supplies and runs quite cold, and as an added bonus, it fits well in smaller cases too. No compatibility issues either with Windows 7 and an Intel Q8300. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-11-10 03:52 PM

Great card for the price
Comment:
I just got this card and installed it in my computer. I have only a 350 watt power supply. Run smooth and quiet. Played some of my came like world of warcraft an thought a first it was a deterrent game never knew how good WoW can look. It plays all my games at the highest settings. This card is a steal for any most store bought computers.

Good Card
Comment:
I bought this card because it did not require a power supply. I am using a Emachine with a 300 what power supply. The card scored a 6.8 on windows 7 experience which is not bad. I play Oblivion and WoW on maxed out and it worked without any lag. I love the 3d discovery works well with Oblivion. I would buy this card if you have a store bought computer. If you have a big power supply with plenty of 6 pin hook ups I would look at some of the 250GTS 1 gig cards they perform slightly better for the same amount of money.

Great Card Except for the Heat!
Comment:
This card is good to go! World in conflict settings on very high, GTA 4 has no slowdown on max settings. Fan settings have to be changed manually. Stock fan speeds are %39 idle and in my pc that turned out to be 61 celcius! Load speed was around %80ish and in my case that's 71 degrees! Plus the exhaust disrupts air flow in the case.

This is a great buy!
Comment:
I upgraded from a 7800 GT to this 9800 GT and was instantly able to play all my games on full graphics, including WoW. For anyone who is an avid gamer but doesn't have a lot of money to spend, this is the card for you. I was also pleased to discover that this video card does not need to be plugged in directly to the power supply. It takes it's energy from the motherboard so all you have to do is pop it in and start playing!

I had a media center elite pc with a 9800gt 500 MB card. The card started giving me problem around the 14th month mark. It was getting overheated to 125 degrees celcius and then it would shut off for safety reasons. So I starts looking. media center pc is very tightly packed inside so I couldnt buy a fancy new card. As I looked thru different websites I found out 9800 GT is still the best option for my budget. Plus It's a
