It's extended, cost-effective, and it works. Like other individuals said, it doesn't fit in a powerful, tight connection - noticeably loose. Nevertheless, on the components that I plug it into, nothing is ever moved, so even the most weak of connections aren't most likely to fall out on my technique. I've had this item a couple months, and it delivers excellent sound reproduction signal and had I not installed it myself, I would have by no means known about anything wrong with it.

Excellent price, it just functions! None. If you don't want the 12ft, get a shorter cable. The longer the optical cable, the far more odds of the optical signal acquiring messed up on the way.

High top quality fiber for a low price. It's performed remarkably for well more than a year now. Can't say I have any complaints with it.

It worked as expected, the connector protects the delicate fiber properly, even the big, gray, pressure relieving boot it made of dense silicone-like plastic so it's flexible if necessary. None. I had to replace a less expensive optical cable for my sound program soon after i snapped the fiber tip. Stupid mistake, but in all fairness, that cable has lasted me about 6 years, and 5 moves! Belkin makes some quality cables for fairly a lot everything, this was no exception! An added plus is the 12' length, i am creating my household theater system into a rack mount soon, so having some sliding room on the optical cable signifies i may possibly get away with putting rails on my amp permitting me simple access to the rear hookups.Did i mention that Worst Buy wanted ๖ for a 6' Monster? Great construction, conveniently connected caps to keep out dust (when not in use or reorganizing your stereo equipment) none I've had this cable for 3 years, and have moved it from 1 piece of equipment to a different a fair number of occasions. No concerns so far.

Cable is really flexible. Protective caps are attached to the cable so they don't get lost. Ends may well not fit all optical connectors. The ends seemed to click into spot fine on most of my devices. But, on my Yamaha receiver, they would not click into spot properly and would fall off with only a light touch. I tried a diverse brand cable and they clicked into location fine.

This worked out graet when the regular 6 foot was too short. connected up and no problems yet. The price is good if you need the length.
