Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:when they released the n52 i had the n50. And felt the need to upgrade when i saw those extra 4 buttons and my n50 was worn out from lotsa use. I was forced to upgrade to this mainly for aestedics as every other periphial i own is razer or co-branded with them why not my n52 pad. But other then the few upgrades mentioned above really no difference then the n52. So if you dunt care about the pretty glow then just get that :P
Pros:When compared to the n52 .... it lights up blue, has better feet and silky surface for the palm similar to razor mouses. They also mad the D-pad by the thumb a bit of a joystick by adding a 5mm ...umm... button i guess is the best way to describe it :P Comment:
I'm a big fan of these and have owned 3 models of the nostromo so far. I use it for games like CS, both 1.6 and source, for Sins Of A Solar Empire... really anything and everything. the software is great and easily lets you make macros which saves you from having to write "buy scripts" or the like. I highly recommend. Just be happy it doesnt take the 2 months mine took to get here :| Even with the delays... still a huge supporter of the nostromo n52... and the pretty n52 te as well :P |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:None so far.
Pros:Excellent idea and good build quality. The best thing for your left hand when gaming (assuming you are a righty). Comment:
I have to say this meets my expectation. After months of delaying people would change their expectation on this, but the wait is definitely worth it. I don't use it in gaming so far because my rigs are torn apart for a major upgrade, but I use it for browsing documents. I don't even need my right hand on the mouse to browse through the documents and some basic commands like cut/copy/paste can also be fitted in to the settings. The software of this is developed by Razer, which does the job brilliantly. Customizing keys and switching settings are easy and quick, and maybe it would be nicer to implement a way to control the mouse using the D-pad so that browsing a website would be possible. |

I've been using Nostromo's since they were first released by Belkin. They are awesome gaming pads and I don't know how I would play without them. All of my mates use them as well. This is a keyboard emulator. It can't perform multi key functions without a macro any more than a keyboard can. It is designed to replace the use of the keyboard for 95% of the keystrokes you use in a game. ANY game pad that can perform multiple keys in one stroke without a macro is still using software macros internally. So the low rating given by the last reviewer is out of ignorance of the product and any other related product. He has no suggestive alternatives. This product is easy to use and the programming software is very flexible. The macros for multiple keystrokes are instant and have no performance degradation. The N52 is a bit larger than the original Nostromo and takes some getting used to but will become old hat in no time. It is a bit pricey, but it is the best of its kind on the market |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:Keeps getting delayed
Pros:Hotkeys and size Comment:
I purchased this product in November. Now shipping on the products has been until mid January. But since I'm not canceling and I've already paid for it -- it's time to write a review. In short, waiting for this product is totally worth it. I can't even begin to tell you all that I'll be able to do with 14x3 programmable hotkeys. The pleasure I get dreaming about it more than justifies the expense. I can't imagine using it in real life will be better than the dream life experience, but if it comes half as close -- I'll be happy. |

I do not have the TE, but I have been using a n52 for over a year now and I must say I would be lost without it. This work of art is by far the most comfortable gamepad I have ever used and the included software is not only reliable, but incredibly easy to use. Multiple keystrokes are no problem at all when using macros as previously stated (all you have to do is remove the delays from the macro and it becomes an instant keystroke!). I do look forward to buying a TE in the near future to replace my old one seeing as how it is backlit.
