The thermal paste wasn't included, but if you looked closely at the heatsink, you'll find that a layer comes pre-laid, just be careful pulling it from the package that you don't damage that layer of paste.

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 CPU BX80571E5300Mounted on P5N-D mobo without issues. Even though CPU came with a fan, I installed an 8W553 CPU cooler instead. Running W7 Pro 64-bit. Playing Left 4 Dead 2 without an issue. Everything maxed out! Great combo deal for the buck!

Biostar G31M7TE Intel G31 Socket 775 Motherboard The 533 memory only works with a FSB 533 1066 cpu. Ex. most Pentium D's are not 533 Mhz. Need to clarify the information on the memory options. The motherboard is excellent but the reseller needs to give correct information.

I Also had purchased the G41 mobo about a month ago and it to was DOA, so I returned it and the second one is working great. Fast and easy install, nice to have thermal paste already installed on the fan assembly as well. Makes installation a snap. Runs very cool, even while multitasking and game play. Will be buying more for sure....
