it does run and with acceptable voltages. the 5v is five% under but still fine. the 12 and three.3 are best with in 1%the chassis is rather solid and the fan is at most 35 decibels so pretty considerably silent. cables are short they are proper at 12 inches except for cables that have two connectors, four pin molex and sata for example, they go another four inchesmy sata didn't have all the cables saudered to the circuit board. im not gonna rma for that ill just void warranty and fix it myself. i knew the cables were short but have extentions laying about so no biggie. but it does lose an egg for the not having any quality controll check. i spotted it in like three seconds.oh and the case had some scratches on the side which they fixed with a sharpie. kinda funny given that they missed the wire getting disconnected and all.

its really affordable gotta admit it and running fine until these days but it fails to load vista from sleeping mode (amd x4 945, nvidia 275gtx, etc) and dont feel it will supply good enuf energy to start out off SLI or CF. Suggesting not to buy this item.. go look for other people..

Well it runs Quite cheeply built, light weight, smells like burned electrical equipment. didn't present enogh juice for my motherboard i feel i damaged it :( I'm going to rma it and buy a much better 1, a psu is the last factor that you want to cheese out!

My buddy Tim is using this unit in his construct. He's running a Phenom II X4 925 CPU with 8GB of GSkill DDR3 RAM, two optical drives, with 4 HDDs. Nothing significant in terms of video cards, just an old Radeon HD 2400Pro. The unit is incredibly quiet and is a bang for the buck. Short cablesMakes a little whistling noise even though running.Falsely advertised... see other thoughts Initial of all, PFC stands for Power Factor Correction. A power supply that regulates the incoming domestic power by itself( without having the use of a 115롾 voltage switch is an Active PFC unit, however a unit that makes use of a voltage switch(the little red or black 115롾 switch) to regulate the incoming power is called a Passive PFC unit. This power supply is really a passive unit since of course it has the switch.

Fantastic Price - Quickly Shipping via Egg Saver - Power max for my high-end graphics card. This was for individual use; my clients have no graphics demands as most idle their life away with Spider Solitaire. I see other critiques claiming it operates quietly. :(I think I just got a loud one. I am unwilling to ship it back for yet another mainly because then I can't play MY GAME! Got to play The GAME. I'm the nerdy type that keeps hardware booklets and this came with no documentation. I had to satisfy myself with printing out the specs page! I should got to a meeting, huh? :D

I haven't ever had a PSU this fairly, not that i ever tried to purchase one for sound either thu. Also it helps cool the rest of the method. I'm pleased I bought it. not moduler? wires are not as long as i hoped, but it reached everything in my mid sized tower.
