Front screen mesh that acts as dust filter is a pain to get rid of for cleaning which could be required frequently if in dusty environment. HDD rack puts back of HDD's a small also close to side of case. yet another 1ǘ- 1 inch would permit for much easier wire management in back of HDD's. No complaints on actual case itself, just the two quirks. Fans have been dependable and remained quiet since purhcase. Far more than sufficient space for most customers. Sturdy and properly built. I'd get another if required at sale cost or with rebate.

Honestly, I like the case itself - its stellar. But caveat emptor - the front IO panels have known issues that cost me my home Computer, and Coolermaster is terrible to deal with - see beneath. Got a giftcard last June for Father's Day - been wanting a new case, and couldn't afford it for a while - we're a family of four, so wife and kids come 1st.Was hanging onto that factor for virtually a year, and had been scouting cases for a even though. So I ultimately decided to go with the Coolermaster 922 HAF.Got the case shipped to my perform, and totally psyched. Moved my Equipment over to the new case, and every thing fires up wonderful - I Finally have a new case, and it just appears perfect. Then.... I go to plug my headphones in the front IO port.... A spark jumps out of the port, and suddenly I am searching at a dead computer. No video, will power on, but won't even post. I'm a tech for a living, so I tried flushing the CMOS, resetting the jumpers, even pulling the battery for the BIOS out and placing it back in. Nada. Finally get this case that I waited nearly a year for, and it fries my mobo. Can't even afford a new a single right now, so devoid of a house Computer - posting this from operate.Continued Below This all occured about two weeks ago. It took them a week to ship out the replacement IO port (ground), and they received my mobo and the old component back on Thursday - and I confirmed it was on their test bench as of Thursday. Effectively developed and built. Lots of interior space for difficult drives and five.five components. Properly set up for cable management and routing of sata cables. Bottom mount PS is good for fan down installation. Quieter than I expected but case fans are massive and run at reduce speeds anyway. Finish on this case is great. Bought this case to somewhat future proof my rig as far as a case was concerned. I advocate getting this case if you feel you may well want to expand your rig in the future. BTW, adore the no tool install for Hdds and 5.5 bays. Questioning about the four eggs and not five? Properly here goes.After uncrating the case I found that the best bezel was loose on the case. a close inspection identified the four plastic retainers,molded parts of the bezel, had been sheared off.There was no shipping harm to the crate and I can only assume this occured in the course of packing. Didn't bother to RMA and fixed it myself with four Ŧ x fiveǞ sheet metal screws via the shallow portion of the bezel plastic straight into the metal flange beneath. Employed a hex head screw painted flat black. Looks like it was OEM.Finish on this case is best notch;however, fit is another matter. The challenge is the side covers. When the covers are off the case they are somewhat wharped and do not lay flat. Reinstalling the side covers becomes a matter of torturing them back flat adequate to engage the case tabs.Took 4 tries on the starboard side and two on the port side.So, four eggs not five. A nice touch here would have been to have the inside of the case painted flat black. A minor point and not worth an egg.My first get from Newwegg and,so far, incredibly impressed with service and prompt delivery. Seems these guys know what they're performing.

Big fans, large case, great cable management. Fan LED button does not function. it only powers the led if you hold the button down, but when you take your finger off the button, it turns off the led simply because the speak to points on the switch aren't touching.Fairly frustrating when you just paid 100 bucks and immediately after zip tying all the cables to the back of the case, the simplest issue like the fan led button doesn't function. Not going to RMA mainly because its way to much function. come on, any excellent control from cooler-master?

Lots of space--fit even the big Radeon 6950 with area to spare. You'd swear it was a total-tower case. Tough Drive/input bays are ridiculous uncomplicated to function with. Hefty--nearly 20 lbs devoid of anything in it. But that's a good thing in my opinion--may possibly not be for some though. Acquire this situation. You won't regret it.

Simple to install difficult drives, lots of places for wiring accurately, energy supply on bottom. Fans were great at first- but not becoming in a position to replace them without giving them up entirely - makes this and any other solution Cooler Master has that has 230mm fans 'something you dont want to ever touch' mainly because you can't - simply cant get replacement parts as you need to have them - go verify their internet site - nada. Other than that- they place usb controls on the front vs the leading and they have some of the PCI ports in such a way that you only can't use them all. It's not a noise blocker, but will maintain things cool if you can maintain fans running. Accurate you can replace fans with a lot smaller ones but it defeats the purpose of the 230mm fans. Overall its a JUST excellent mediocre case... the reason becoming that at least half of the purpose of a higher performance case is to cool issues. Two of the main fans are 230mm fans. One of these fans have red LEDs and are specifically wired (specially wired) to a control to turn the red LEDs on and off so that its not an annoyance at night. Cooler Master in their "Wisdom" have made the 230mm fans not possible to get replacement components for (check their web site). They say to send them a fan that might be creating a noise initial/problem, but then the challenge with cooling becomes a lot better. Total and horrible top quality control and consumer service. Been trying for more than 4 months just to get a fan to replace mine that is whining extremely loudly - supplied to obtain it, made available to prepay it - but unless I send it 1st they wont do a " " thing. Be ware of this corporation and their support - make sure any element can be purchased elsewhere - which is my mistake for going with COOLER MASTER. It's an ok case - there are better simply because of what I wrote above, but also since they don't place adequate dust filters, and its seriously overly designed for five.25" drives.

Plenty of space to function in. Bottom mounted power supply. Quiet fans. Easy tool cost-free installation (but did have to use a screwdriver of course to install the board and put two screws in my three.five" internal card reader / usb port. (Took a couple of minutes to figure that one out...lol!.) Fantastic cable management. Paired up with a Cooler Master 600 watt PSU, it is extremely, quite quiet! I can barely hear my pc. Lots of ventilation in this case. Other than cleaning the dust from this undesirable boy, my front fan does not light up, but that's nothing at all to take an egg off due to the fact I'm not as well partial to lights anyway. Other than the header problem I had when I very first employed my eSata cable and my computer shut down. I can use my front headphone jack and usb ports with no issue. I'll use the eSata in the back instead. Haven't had any issues because. One particular thing I learned about the cpu energy cable. I discovered it to be short when I attempted to plug it in. But there is yet another hole in the MB tray just above the processor fan hole (where you would swap out a cpu fan). There is sufficient room to do backflips inside this beast! Even with my CoolerMaster V8 cooler, there is nonetheless clearance between it and the side panel. Room to spare, even with the longest of video cards. Sideways mounting HDDs, with a very good bracket system. HAF= High Air Flow, and it lives up to it. Wow, this case is wonderful. I just did my very first develop with it yesterday and anything fit completely. There is practically no noise and it's essentially quite cold if I put my hand against it. Just finished my 2nd construct, and this case is a fantastic foundation from which to begin. ATX mobo lined up perfectly even the back plate didn't put up a lot of a fight. The fans are whsiper quiet. Front panel cables are obviously labeled and intstalled effortlessly. Lots of space to function in and plenty of areas to hide the wires. On major of that this is a single quite very good seeking case. Red LED is a plus. I'll reuse this case. Its worth just about every penny. None The front LEDs aren't also vivid and they appear cool. Assume I'll order one particular for the back end of the case.

Just got this case about a couple of days ago and i have to say I am very happy with my purchase. I initially had a X dreamer3 but it just didn't have the space I necessary, I even had to take the side fan off to fit my hyper 212+. I have no such challenge with this case simply because it is by far the largest Mid Tower I have seen. I went from 2-120mm fans in the apevia case to 3-200mm and two-120mm that keep my cpu four degrees C cooler and my mother board 8C cooler. I program on upgrading even a lot more and with the HAF 922 I know I'll have the space and cooling needed for it. Extremely light but sturdy, uncomplicated to get around in. Construction is excellent. Finish is fine. Side panels go on with ease. Nothing at all This case is great! Huge airflow, the 200mm fans are very quiet and I can quickly hear my tricky drives more than all the fans (couldn't with my prior case). It's extremely spacious inside and effortless to work in. Also, the tool-much less style for the drive bays is very easily the finest type I've ever worked with. Literally push a button to lock an optical drive in location, push it once again to release it and slide it out. Difficult drives have a tiny cage that you have to bend around them and then they just snap in spot. HAF stands for High Air Flow and that's exactly what this situation has. Correct out of the box, it has 3 fans two of which are giant 200mm's.
