This is a quite quiet power supply - even with out the rubber gaskets. Once you add the gaskets that come with it, it's as close to silent as you may possibly be able to get.The fan outputs a decent quantity of air and the PSU doesn't seem to get extremely hot. No cons here other than I thought the connectors for the CPU didn't match up with the Asus p6x58d-e CPU socket. I felt like a noob who had built 4 other computers that summer just fine. It was 2am, decided to go to bed and attempt it in the morning. Click..... It is rather quiet, I can't hear it when I am fiddling around in my case. Also, the cables are forced flat. Most PSUs have rounded cables, which makes bundling them less complicated. The zip ties do not function extremely well on bundling these together, BUT they do lie flat again cabling systems behind the antec 1200 so its ok. Just though you need to be aware of this.

Love the cabling options. No more loose connectors not being used. Powering my OC'd cpu(q9550) and gpu(gtx260), raid setup(2xhds), water cooling and 3x120mm fans. It's quiet, doesn't get hot and gives me more than enough juice for my setup.

So far no issues with the performance, doesn't even seem to break a sweat. Only dislike was the shock absorption silicon pads were much harder to keep attached than they should have been. The good news is if you decide to use them, you only have to keep them attached just long enough to screw in the psu. I found using a pen or screwdriver and pressing them pins in from behind was easiest way to install the pads.

This was the first modular supply I've ever used in one of my systems. It is supplied with a virtual cornacopia of cables, and lacked absolutely nothing to get me up and running the first night. I've had this power supply for a couple of months so far, powering a fairly stout video card and soundcard, and a bunch of onboard peripherils and it hasn't broken a sweat no matter how long or hard I've pushed it. Good value in a power supply.
