Affordable. Reasonably quiet. Adequate performance. none You only get what you paid for - which is not a bad thing. Adequate efficiency. Minimum number of cables to make issues work and with minimum lengths - including short power cord. If you want additional, you will need to have to spend much more for anything else. I wanted something cheap to get an older board operating again and this worked good.

shiny Unexpected product alter- From dependable to dead and worse!!! 1 was dead, two putting out killer overcurrent. Hope my new mb is ok. A single got out in a shoppers box. darn it. Total four in a row negative! Have utilized dozens of these. Now I will need to appear for another cheep trustworthy PS. Not considerably of a selection, only 600+ to pick from. Shiny and light weight (maybe cons) It created a smaller and sustaining sizzling sound when it was powered on. The CPU fan span for a few seconds and that was it. But no smoke coming out. My newly-bought mobo survived because a thermaltake PS 鷮w) purchased later on created my method operating fantastic. This energy supply has an appealing Chrome finish. The wires and connectors are straightforward to operate with. The power button is tight and works nicely. Excellent replacement for stock P4/athlon 64 systems, really the bargain! The ratings sticker is on the left side which looks out of place in a windowed case, removal of the sticker is not straightforward. Do not acquire this power provide if your video card requires secondary energy or you are operating SLI or Crossfire

Affordable, dual rails and works fine. The power supply fan blows out a lot of air. I even don't need a system fan for keep my Micro ATX case cool. Fairly noisy. Just before installing this power supply, I could hear the fan noise from my EVGA video card. Now, the only factor I can hear is the noisy power supply fan. If CoolMax could boost the style to lessen the fan noise, this would be a very decent power supply.

Low-cost, works, not DOA. Louder than usual. No screws. Do not get this if you want to put much more than four peripherals, floppy, and 1 sata drive. You will not have any far more cables to use. No PCI-Express no' nuthin. I hope it doesn't die on me! Rebate is comin in the mail, hopefully.

not a bad power supply have bought a couple of for consumers searching to save a dying machine. long term i do not anticipate this to last more than a year or two, but you in no way know Its inexpensive so it can be a little scary For the income, espicaly the rebate you would be a fool to get anything else for a fix situation. Nothing. Extremely dangerous. Not heeding the other reviews like an idiot, I plugged this into a P4 motherboard, there was a snap and smoke poured from the board and the power supply. I won't know if it damaged the board until I get a different PS. The electrical burn smell won't go away. Yuck. Taking into consideration how several reviewers have had the similar challenge, why is Newegg still selling it? Works, potent, consistant on machine with very high energy demands (server with RAID five array) Not sufficient connectors. Mobo connector is Brief. I looked for a long time to locate a PS that did not have a fan on the leading or a fan sticking out of the side considering that this went into a extremely tight server case. Also the energy plug is in a great spot for the crooked AC cable that runs in that case. So for me this was a excellent discover.

Cheap It was only inexpensive for three weeks when it failed and .had to be replaced My brother wanted to install this in his new program. I pleaded with him to get a much better PS. He insisted o this 1 and now it is dead in just less than 3 weeks.

Works wonderful for me.Over 6 months and it is working very good. Sata difficult drives, middle of road video card, p4 three. prescott and other goodies, no predicament. Fan is way to loud. I changed the fan and put in a basic 80mm fan. Also put in a fan mate 2 to drop the rpm a small. What a distinction. Runs cool,quiet and 10 buck rebate was no problem.

Fantastic for low-cost Cheap, not many cable selections, uncomplicated cable sliders can get stuck, possibly even break off. You know what your obtaining in for with this price. None have died yet, but not keeping my hopes up, this is a low price. They're primarily being used for replacements.
