After four years of riding off of 4 GB of RAM it was time to double up my rig. My motherboard doesn't support anything above 1333 DDR3 so I was looking for some inexpensive RAM until I upgrade my motherboard. This was the cheapest of the cheap for two sticks of 2GB. The sticks don't look fancy like Ripjaws but they work just as great as my two Ripjaws sticks.

This memory run great on Win7. I was surprising when i see it doesnt have any heatsink on it... on picture you see its a sticker. Last time ive got ram from Corsair, it take many week to get a other stick, i hope it will not happen with those. Corsair make great memory anyway.

Satisfied with Price tag and shipping from NewEgg! two eggs for NewEgg great service and price tag. Listed as compatible with AMD platform, had random crashing, chips failed memtest. Had them replaced by Corsair and program nonetheless crashed. Did not OC, have not attempted on Intel platform. Not Delighted with this solution. I thought Corsair was higher good quality??? Purchased Kingston Mem. Program functioning flawless, Thanks Kingston!

This is dependable RAM at a fantastic cost. This RAM performs greater than I had anticipated and I extremely recommend it. I've been creating gaming rigs for several years and typically buy the higher finish Corsair RAM. I decided to take a opportunity on this set because of the good value point, and I have not been disappointed.I used this RAM along with the MSI NF980-G65 mobo and the AMD Phenom II X4 955 three.2G AM3 cpu and it is a solid higher performing rig. Might not have the tightest timings when compared to some larger end offerings, but if you don't plan on doing aggressive overclocking and have no want to brag about your benchmarking numbers, there are no cons. Works great with my AMD setup and the MSI mobo mentioned above. I can\'t comment on how nicely these will perform in an overclocked method (I wasn't interested in going that route with my present make), but if you want a solid, dependable rig you can't go incorrect with these sticks. I upped the voltage to 1.6 on these sticks and they have been performing good with Win 7 64 bit gaming and additional. Note: the stock voltage rating is 1.five but I typically like to give my Corsair RAM a small far more juice and was able to do so with no any negative consequences.

Incredibly great memory modules carry out well from initial installation. Quite reasonable priced and operates appropriately with my Asus M4A88TD-M/USB3. Get yours before it all sold out. I have not had any trouble. They do not have any heat sink fins to disipate heat. My onboard heat monitor has not offered any alerts.

- Very easily inserted on Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R- With rebate cost is excellent- Computer seems quickly but then once more running i7-975 - This complete DDR3 naming convention can be confusing Advise going with the 6GB kit simply because it is cheaper in the long run.

Quickly, smaller footprint, really plain (negative for some, a plus for me), lots of potential... Okay, this review actually hurts for me to do, as I've had tons of excellent luck with corsair... But this stuff just induced a lot more issues than it's worth. One particular of the sticks was shot, tried it in 2 different motherboards with the very same outcome.. and I'd bluescreen with memory errors everytime. At first I denied the dilemma was the ram, but then following testing it in quite a few distinct setups with 2 different videocards and 2 diverse motherboards, I ultimately admitted it. Just about every setup I threw it in, it'd bluescreen. Following I realized it was the ram, I believed so massive deal, I'll just return it to corsair. Contacted them about a warranty, and no reply. E mail said it'd take less than 24 hours, it's now been a week. Now, it's way as well late to return this to newegg on an RMA (only four days left, no memory to use while returning), and I'm stuck with 40 dollars wasted on fried memory. I hate to say this, but I'm almost certainly never going to obtain a corsair item ever again thanks to this terrible encounter. For memory with no heatspreaders, 44 dollars is fairly a higher price tag for corsair to sell this if you ask me.. Even though it doesn't genuinely bug me. Aftermarket heatspreaders is a no go aswell, seeing as according to their web page, removing the stickers from the item voids the warranty and there's only memory chips on one side of the sticks anyways which would make most of them too major. Oh, and if your luck is something like mine, you'll won't get a reply on the warranty really should anything go wrong. Also, I did run memtest with no luck, ran each stick alone to make confident on Each motherboards, and even ran them together, each time I ran it at least 10 times, and nonetheless absolutely nothing.. On the other hand, it is undoubtedly the memory as the BSODs would happen each and every handful of hours. I removed the bad stick of ram a week and a half ago, and no crashes due to the fact then. Manufacturer Response:We are incredibly sorry you had an issue with each the RAM and the RMA course of action. Please speak to Client Service, supply your RMA number, and let them know what your issue was. It operates fine in my ASUS motherboard. None The max RAM speed with out overclocking for my ASUS motherboard is 1333. This kit fits the bill specifically.I have run numerous memory test programs to stress test the memory, and none show any problem.I don't know what the goal of the white label that is placed on prime of the memory chips. From the image, it looks like a memory heatsink. But when I touch it, it doesn't really feel like metal. It feels like a thin piece of label. I leave it there.

I have absolutely nothing to compare it to, but it seems to rip through applications fairly hard paired with a quadcore. I alt-tabbed out of Crysis and was at the desktop instantly. Corsair demands to sell 8GB kits with a discount It has only been a day.

I picked up this RAM kit for a modest spec. business computer for family members, mainly because this was one of the kits that was on the motherboard's QVL list, and it was both reasonably cheap, and fairly readily available. So far I have no reservations about recommending this RAM to anyone that needs a similar kit, not only because of the price, but also because it's worked fine from day one, and Corsair is a generally reputable name for computer parts
