Durable. 16gb. Wonderful price. Quick. Its from Corsair None, it does what it desires to do. I purchased this flash drive back in Sept. 2008 for ๖, now it sells for ฮ SUPER Inexpensive. I reformatted the flash drive using Linux and a handful of days later it was dead. Windows wouldn't recognize neither would Linux. So I was preparing to RMA it by means of NewEgg but decided to go with Corsair instead. I sent the item back to them and within two weeks they sent me a BRAND NEW One...and not only that they sent me a 32gb instead since of the difficulty. Really pleased with the Corsair Client Service.

Nice rubber coverSeems speedyNo corrupt information Right after 6 months of use, the rubber cover came off. This exposed the circuitry and almost everything that was inside the rubber. Also when I bought this there was a mail-in rebate that I sent in for but in no way received it. I attempted contacting corsair, but had no luck. The three stars is not based on the truth I didn't receive the rebate. It is solely based on the rubber cover coming off. Almost everything I pulled it from the USB port, I was usually worried I was going to break one thing off and lose all of my data.

I've just gone in to obtain the information for the rebates and see the fine print which reads, "Submission must be postmarked within 21 days of acquire and no later than December 21, 2010 in order to qualify." 16Gb flash drive!Nice casing I like the feel of the case, but it's too bulky to be utilised side by side with yet another USB device.Case came unattached, and now freely slides around. Not a huge deal for me, but could be an concern for somebody with youngsters. I could possibly very easily superglue the case, just haven't bothered.

My roommate bought the refurbished version on sale at one of the instore Saturday sales. After 5 months after pulling it out without first ejecting from Windows, the thing became dead. In the process of an RMA even though it says 30 day warranty. I'd give it a single star but can't seem to find the receipt.

A year later it still functions. excellent price for storage size. rubber coating makes it much more than shock resistant and extremely resilient. bulky. can't have something else inserted into a nearby dock.(top/bottom or left/right). on a lot more than 1 occasion i have misplaced the cap of it. i use it for school, xbox360 streaming, and other misc purposes. the only complaint i have ever had with it is that correct away i necessary to reformat it so the schools apples would let me save information onto it. its formated so that 2gb of it is reserved for xbox360 storage which is quite handy, aside from how my tower and latop with w7 and any other laptop or computer i use sys its "bugged" and they want to scan/fix it when its not broken at all.(every time i insert it). uh its bothersome when it holds each and every stitch of pocket lint? wonderful unit.

This was a wonderful value at the time I bought it. The style makes it a space hog and you will have difficulty fitting other peripherals around it. Mine truly pooped out in less than six months and computers could no longer recognize it unless I jiggle it with my hand. Buy one thing else, the weatherproofing isn't worth the sadness of replacing it and losing your information.

durable, reasonably fast, a lot of gigs for the buck cap is separate and eventually gets lost. after a couple of years, the device separates from the rubber body. you pull it out of the computer system and end up with just the rubber even though the drive itself stays behind f you're not paying attention. this is the second 1 of these I purchased. the initially 1 is now many years old and nonetheless operating fine except for the two minor points above

I did a quick format to NTFS and it worked flawlessly. At $19.94 presently, it's a great price for this. The copy speed seems a lot faster than I was expecting. Quite pleased with this flash drive.

Like the rubberised coating and the way the cap fits. read/write speeds are very good no place for the cap when you take it off. already leftn it laying around twice. bit tight if you have to plug it in subsequent to some thing. purchased it on black friday so caught a deal on the cost. way to go newegg!

I put my flash important on my important ring so I always had flash media where ever I went.The "glue" that holds the key in location is not the greatest and I was able to pull the PCB and whole flash key away from the rubber housing. It got so poor that when I put the flash key in a pc I had to "squeeze" the drive by the head to pull it out so I didn't just pull off the rubber cover.The cap is also simply lost, I don't actually care about it that a lot.... but other people have reported this as nicely.Drive failed following 2 years of use (I function in IT so I use it pretty much each and every day). Flash key just up and stopped working and I was not able to get any information off of it. Sent it back to Corsair and I got a replacement in about three weeks RMA turn around time (not the best but it was no questions asked). Returned "new" key was a refurb... =(I hope the refurb important has the very same warranty. Overall it's a good flash important. Supports USB two. and three. which is good (my old one did not assistance 3.).
