CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Lasted less than a month and died.Corsiars Return Policy will the customer "holding the bag"Corsair RMA department provides a nice return address label for you to affix your postage.

Pros:It looks cool
Comment:
I have always used other brand name RAM and decided to try Corsiar. This RAM lasted less than a month and then I started getting Random BSOD (Memmory Controller) Errors. System has been running flawlessly with the old RAM back in place.I understand electronics are subject to flaws however the customer return experience can make or break the situation and for me, Corsair's return policy is a joke. Be prepared to pay for shipping, insurance and all required packing materials to return thier faulty product to the m should you be the next one to recieve a bad stick.

Works good I have some software package that would kill my other Computer with 4 gigs of ram. It would lock it up. I have ran the very same software program on this and it has ran good, so far up to 6 gigs. bit be a small substantially for most Gamers no need to have for 16 gigs. CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Need to overclock to get 1600, not guaranteed to work.Ram is big, which may cause issue with CPU cooler

Pros:Great ram for the priceWorked flawlessly since I installed it, at stock sped 1333.
Comment:
XMP (Xtreme Memory Profile) is a proposition made by Intel to support overclocking with some presets store in SPD. Motherboard need to support XMP to read those extra settings, otherwise you need to set them manually in the BIOS. My AMD based motherboard does not support it, which is not surprising as XMP is Intel technology.Heat spreader are high and may limit your choice of heatsink. Changing heatsink for something quieter is not a luxury on newer AMD CPU, the fans get very loud. Just take that into consideration as some cases like home theater PC do not let you install a high cooler like hyper-212, you need something thinner and maybe larger. At purchase time, going higher than 1333 was overclocking except for some CPUs like FX series which are speced runs stock at 1600 using dual channel, and higher using single dimm. I would rather buy some from others like crucial that are stock 1600, no tuning, no overclock. In fact I ordered a new set of chips as I could not fit them with a decent quiet cooler in a 4U case.

Good, solid and plays nicely with other people...AMD 1100T proc and Asus MB. Not a genuine knowledgeable OC guy but this will seriously move some bits around fairly fast. None at all, seriously. I've applied Corsair due to the fact 1998 or so when Corsair were the only seriously solid player about. They've never ever let me down.

Quickly, solid and stable. Easy Installation. Excellent for multitasking. Can have high end game operating in background while surfing the world-wide-web, downloading and having both of my e mail clientele, WinZip, Word or Excel operating with employing much less than 50% of the memory. I picked this RAM up for $85.59. Thats 16GB for $85.59!! Paired it up with a 2500K and an ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z motherboard. Gets a 7.9 rating on the WEI.With some research you can find some nice tutorials on how to overclock the RAM and these sticks hold up nicely.Highly recommended!

Great price for a 16GB kit, and the cost made it pretty much a no brainer to go to 16. Quality and performance you expect from Corsair, nothing really much to say other than that.

CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Very tall heat spreaders

Pros:Great price for 16 GB of Ram
Comment:
Using this ram in a x58a-ud3r build. My system suffered continual BSODs when all 16 GB were installed. I ended up having to slightly overvolt the memory in the bios to stabilize the system. Maybe that's standard operating procedure, but it caused me a bit of a headache while I diagnosed the problem.Oh yeah, and the heat fins get in the way of my Noctua CPU cooler. Not a huge deal, though.Anyway, Overall I'm happy with the ram.

This is a good 16 GB set of new DDR3 1600 MHz RAM. I don't see any issue with it right now. It seems fast enough, the timings are OK and 16 GB is more than enough for most users.

Comment:
Sandy Bridge compatible @ 1.5v to 1.65v. Dependable and fairly priced. Runs at advertised speeds. Internet articles report it is also in a position to be OC'd. Case design is somewhat flimsey. It is a clamshell that snaps shut with a pin at each and every end. When installing, only press directly inward and do not exert lateral (sideways) pressure. Case can be inadvertently opened.
