It's Corsair and as from past practical experience it installed and ran as advertised. (phew) see other thoughts. None Ram was shipped cross country in a plastic/vinyl UPS envelope. not even put in a padded envelope inside the outer envelope for a bare minimum amount of protection ;-7 This is extremely disappointing to say the least.

Looks great mainly because of the heat sinks on each stick of RAM. None. I believed later about finding fans to mount by the RAM / RAM slots; have not accomplished so and have not tested temperature of RAM when operating at normal speeds, and so on.

4x4gig modules, breeze to install windows instantaneously recognized 16gb of memory, cool heat spreaders... None so far. My board only runs 1600Mhz in OC so I had to manually set my DRAM Freq in BIOS.

As their advertising blurb says: The only 1.5v XMP memory out there. The Sandy Bridge chips do not like raising RAM voltage, it can lead to harm to do so. As such acquiring the ultra-quickly 1.65v+ RAM that many businesses offer you is a non-starter, you'll end up operating it in 1333MHz mode. This stuff runs at 1600MHz no troubles at 1.5v.Also 16GB of unbuffered RAM is no modest feat in a method, you can very easily get crashes or corruption with it. No difficulty right here, the RAM functions fantastic. If you want more quickly RAM on LGA155 SB chips, then this is the stuff you want. I actually wouldn't trust much else to run at 1600MHz in a 16GB setup.Synthetic memory tests show it gets a substantial transfer speed increase more than 1333MHz RAM (about 20GB/sec as opposed to 16GB/sec in memtest86+). The heatsink is substantial and unnecessary. The RAM does not get really hot, and RAM chips can tolerate a lot of heat. It is for show, not genuinely necessary. The problem is with a substantial cooling solution, it can get in the way of the RAM. I have a Freezer 13 Pro and it BARELY fits. Not a massive deal, therefore no ratings reduction, but be aware that you need a excellent deal of clearance over the RAM due to the fact of the heatsinks. Has four JEDEC SPD profiles and a single XMP profile so it must operate on any board, even these that don't assistance its speed (though I'm conscious of no SB board that doesn't). Make certain to see if XMP is enabled in your BIOS/UEFI because it is often not by default and the RAM will run at 1333MHz if it isn't.

Runs stable (and survives Memtest86) at the promised numbers: DDR1600 @ 9-9-9-24 with stock voltage Ƒ.5V). Performs incredibly well. Almost certainly the very best looking set of ram I've ever set up. Enjoy those heat spreaders. Ran at DDR1333 out of the box, so a little amount of overclocking know-how (or investigation) will most likely be required to get this RAM up to spec. Sharp searching, clocks extremely effectively, actually no need to have for direct cooling, but. Does not have choice of a dedicated fan/cooler system like the GT series. Fantastic RAM for the cost.

I decided to upgrade to 16GB of Vengeance after struggling with 8GB of G.Skill Ripjaws on my AMD Computer. With the Ripjaws, I could not boot with a SATA expansion card in the PCI slot. I spent two weeks diagnosing the problem and ultimately bought these, popped them in and all troubles had been solved. So far I have not run out of RAM doing any multitude of multitasking. There was a single time I was playing Far Cry 2 with Firefox, Visual Studio 2010, a 150+ GB file transfer, WinRAR archiving, and iTunes were all running at the same time. Nonetheless operating robust. None yet, hoping these will last a extremely lengthy time. I got these when Newegg sent a promo code that slashed the price tag.

Pros: CheapLooksstays cool (it better with those huge fins)
Comment:
This is good ram for a good price. All of my sticks were sequencial serials /The only thing you have to watch is the clearance of your aftermarket heatsink as some will not give enough room to fit these under.I am running an Antec Kuhler 920 so clearance is not an issue. If you have a large heatsink there are identical sticks to this with "low-profile" heatsinks.

Pros: Sleek, sharp lookingGreat overclocker.Cool design, heatspreader.Good deal
Comment:
Dunno why, keep on getting the notorious error screen to appear, although I've had overclocked this to 2000MHz, probably b/c of that. If you want 16 gigs of high performance ram is your system. Buy this all-inclusive pack. Buying 2 sets of 4x2 ram is going to cost alot more!

Pros: Easy Installation.System Regonised right away.Runs the system super-fast (when working properly)
Comment:
I kept getting BSOD for no reason. I could be in idle and it will BSOD with memory_managment errors, and all sorts related to memory. I also read to check the voltage is at 1.50 and everything was set properly within my BIOS.RMA'd all of the chips within a month of purchase. still waiting for replacement to arrive in mail.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this set of ram to anyone!

the ram works great for me, haven't had any issues yet, only downside is the height of the ram might limit the use of some aftermarket cpu coolers, i'm using the corsair h80 so it didn't make any difference to me.
