I am satisfied with my memory. Both sticks worked well. Had to manually adjust the clock speed and timings in the bios. I ran into an concern with my heatsink being so large that I had to get rid of the heatspeader on my initial DIMM in order to get the memory into module. Therefore, I feel a bit silly for paying so significantly for a memory stick that I can't in fact utilize to the fullest (argo the removal of the heat spreader). |

Awesome ram! Comes in 2 4gb sticks and looks extremely badass in my Crosshair Extreme. This ram, like all Corsair ram performs great and is definitely recommended. |
The RAM will be detected as 1333, so you need to go into the BIOS and set the RAM timings to XMP overclock to get it to run at 1600. While the fastest RAM is the dominator line, if you don't need that kind of speed this should suit your needs just fine.Just make sure you have the clearance for your heat sink, since coolers nowadays can be huge.
