CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:-nothing really

Pros:-cheap-low profile-looks cool
Comment:
Really good in terms of gaming, I'm probably going to pick up another one if there's another sale. It also coloured black which is very low profile. I'm not sure if you can overclock this more than 1600.

Cons:had 1 stick fail within a month

Pros:runs cool and fast
Comment:
good ram when it works. I was unlucky and had a faulty stick have to set up rma with corsair now. Just purchased another set. so i can get by while i wait for rma. On the plus side i should have 16gb total when all is said and done. No regrets.

The heat sinks are always very good to support with reliability and extend life span. None. I'm an FX trader and what I require to make funds demands speed and reliability. My expectation when I was building this technique was that the memory demands of Windows 7 combined with what I do and how I planned to setup the Pc would put me at a max RAM usage of 4GB. My expectations were excellent. My day-to-day usage with trading software and other issues I use like various IE8 tabs open, streaming radio, some videos, and a totally free premium word processor I maintain open to take notes.....this has me running at about three.15 GB of RAM usage. The Pc peaks at just more than 4 GB RAM usage at occasions. I picked these simply because of the organization name and expected reliability along with the heat sinks that came currently attached. This matched the needs of the Pc I planned to create which is high air flow, low heat, lower watts applied, and efficiency.Right here are my specs:AMD X6 Ɩ Core) Black Edition 3.2GhzASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB38GB RAMIntel 120GB SSDH70 Liquid CoolingHAF Cooler Master CaseDual Layer

Ram runs quick with i5 2500K. They complement eachother well. Intel X.M.P. works upon activation in Bios... I mean UEFI. Tall heatsinks remain cool. Heatsinks are tall. I am utilizing a Corsair H70 andhad no complications. I envision they would not fit beneath some heatsinks. CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Tall. Needlessly so, since corsair's low-profile memory doesn't seem to run any hotter.

Pros:Fast, looks great, and works (so far) without a hitch.
Comment:
This is great value ram which is working very well so far. However, it is very tall! After market heat-sinks WILL BE A PROBLEM. I have 2 sticks (8gb) in slots 2 and 4 on my GB Ud4-BH3 board, with no desire to add more, so I'm not terribly concerned. However, if I did want to upgrade to 16gb, I'd be in trouble with my Hyper 212 cooler, because it just won't fit properly. Just make sure you measure first. I'd generally recommend going with Corsair's low-profile memory (which my brother runs in his system), since it is a much more manageable height but doesn't run any hotter (so far as we can tell - we're not pros).

I purchased it for about 贉 which was a excellent cost for this. It's plenty fast at 1600MHz. Stays cool and OC's well. You can raise frequency and lower timing with ease. Tall heat spreaders. I have an H50 so it was no issue, but be wary if you have a significant heatsink. Just do some investigation Purchased this for my i5 2500kBear in mind, frequency is a lot more crucial than timings for Intel platforms

Pros:one of the best ram's out there with really great performance.
Comment:
My only concern is that this ram was listed on asus website as supported, however it was running on 1333 and had to change it through the bios to 1600. mostly this issue is from asus's side and not from corsair. :)

1. Uncomplicated to physically Install, No concerns with my setuptwo. Looks superior in my casethree. the fins are tall, could be a negative for some setups, but the way I have my cpu mounted, the 120mm intake is proper next to the fins, so I'm fairly certain that will help cool the ram better. :) Only concern I had was the XMP profile doesn't seem to be compatible with my motherboard. Gigabyte EX58 UD3R-SLI Tried unique bios but XMP still won't perform. Not truly big deal even though, I manually set timings and speed and It works at rated speed, working fine now 3 hours no issues. I'll repost soon after a couple of months or if I run into any complications. 2. Upgraded from 1 x 3gb Corsair XMS3 1333 - I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what triggered the horrible micro stuttering in a bunch of games (Mafia II, Just Trigger two, COD Black Ops, GTA IV) after I upgraded to a second gtx 480 SLI. Been reading everywhere, no one particular seems to be able to help, even purchased distinct SLI bridge but didn't help. Believed possibly had bad card, or drivers, tried so a lot of issues, and nothing would fix it. Didn't consider it was my ram cuz my usage on three gigs never ever went over 81%. THIS FIXED IT!! :) None of my games are stuttering now, smooth as butter at stock ram speeds.

Added them to my system which already had 4gb in, ram I bought while waiting for this ram to come in (back-ordered)and realized it was too high to fit, so now i have 12gb total instead of 8 gb of dual channel. It is fast however, and well worth the money spent.

Rapid, stable, low voltage ram. I had to activate the X.M.P. setting in the bios to take benefit of the DDR3 1600 speed. As has been stated before, the heatsinks on the memory raise their height to about 2 inches, so be conscious when buying larger CPU coolers. Bought the memory about a week ago and now Newegg lowers the price by an further บ :/

This stuff overclocks like crazy at 9-10-9-24-41. I would guess its max overclock to be in the 1800+ and there are even evaluation samples which best 2000+ at timing I stated above. THE STICKER! This is great ram.

Reached the stated speed in an instant of a second at 1.5V. Can also be flawlessly overclocked to 1866 mhz. Maybe a small bit too high, but it's not a massive con. Maybe I shouldn't be making use of such a major heatsink :D
