Place it in a new construct with a MSI P67A-G45 (B3) and i5 2500k.When i turned xms on in the bios all settings were excellent and it has run stable at 1600 ever due to the fact. Didn't have to make any other adjustments at all. A bit tall. If you dont use the stock heatsink cooler, make certain you research any heatsinks just before acquiring. Look cool in boards with other blue colors.

Cons:none!

Pros:Great value!Excellent quality."Cool" heatsink design.Colour scheme with Asus boards.and of course the performance!
Comment:
This memory is excellent. I have been using it in a photo/video editing machine for about a year and have yet to have any issues on my Z68 Asus Pro board. I have never seen memory usage above 75% even with TB's of footage being rendered for encoding. Great stuff!

Cons:- heat sinks are tall, and may interfere with large CPU heatsinks

Pros:- Corsair Quality and performance- 1600Mhz, CL9, 1.5V (great specs)- Aggressive styling- cheap
Comment:
THE absolute best RAM DIMMs I have every purchased. This kit is the best value I can find. Anything more or anything less is just not worth it in my opinion. This is the sweet spot.

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Did not seem to work too well in my computer with two kits of these mixed.

Pros:Looks cool. reasonably priced, pretty fast, was stable with one kit used.
Comment:
Bought this to use with my Intel DZ77BH55K board. It seemed to be nice and stable with one kit. Once I added another kit of this same memory I began getting freezing and BSOD's. Each kit alone seemed to work fine. But no matter how I arranged it, they did not get along with two kits of this stuff. I returned it for a single kit of 4 X 4GB Kingston Hyper X DDR 1600 and had stability.

Cons:High profile, may be a problem with larger coolers

Pros:PricePerformanceReliability
Comment:
This is great ram, I'm personally using watercooling so the high profile isn't an issue. This ram is flawless in a Z77 system, good price, nothing to complaint about at all.

Comment:
Can be overclocked readily, stable, fantastic price. Great color. Heatsinks pop off quickly--only attached by a strip of sticky stuff. Mine came off on the 2nd unseat from the mobo (while installing CPU heatsink), so I RMA'd and went for Dominators instead, because they were discounted to about the exact same price.

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Hard to get this RAM on sale, which makes it a more expensive option when looking at other mainstream DDR3 RAM sets.

Pros:The RAM is 1.5V, which is compatible with the 2500k, and the price point when added with Motherboard purchase made this an attractive option. Heatsinks make the RAM look great in the case, and it performs as you'd expect.
Comment:
Great option to add to your build, however it was a little more costly than the average RAM set and only has a custom heatsink to show for it. I will buy the kit again to ramp up to 16GB at some point.

Both modules have been working flawlessly for over a month for me. Just set the XMP in the BIOS and the modules get set to what they are rated for.The heatsinks also fit beneath my Zalman CNPS9900ALED heatsink with a little clearance, but not touching. This was tested in the closest slot to the heatsink.I like them so significantly I just purchased 2 additional 4GB sticks as a Shell Shocker deal. Great memory, Corsair still doing putting out a good core product. Looks fantastic with a Gigabyte motherboard, matching blue colours. Had no issues with the size of the heatsinks in a Corsair mid-tower case.

Comment:
Great Cost and reputation 1 out of 4 dimms was D.O.A. Took alomost two weeks for RMA turnaround and I was charged ű.95 for shipping the memory back. Initial time I've utilized corsair. It has had a fantastic reputation for getting high quality memory. I don't realize how a memory stick can be DOA if QA is properly accomplished at the factory. Also getting charged to ship it back isn't proper, as it was unusable on arrival.

Had no difficulties for the duration of initial setup & it functions excellent with my new I7 2600k. I'm incredibly pleased! :)

Cons:A bit flimsy.

Pros:Nice looking heatsinks, decent speed.
Comment:
Nice set of memory for anyone really - although I'd probably only buy it if I were looking specifically for blue memory. There are much faster kits out there for close to the same price. That being said, Corsair makes top-notch memory, has a great warranty for their products, and is never a bad choice.

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
Cons:Does not overclock as well as expected.

Pros:Awesome looking on a ASUS motherboard, 16 GB in 4 GB Memory modules is sooooo nice. 1600 MHz on my system makes everything purr
Comment:
I bought 2 sets of this kit to make up 16 GB for my system and the system is fast! I had no plans to overclock but tested the system anyway since I had a very easy motherboard to work with. I was a bit surprised that this RAM couldn't overclock easily, but it may have had more juice if done in a different way. Regardless, I'm very pleased with the performance so far with my system overclocked about 15% (with an i7 2600K chip and ASUS P8P67 Pro REV3.1 ATX as the major components).
