Good value but very frustrating. Corsair informs me that there is an ''issue'' with purchasing sets that were not tested together, i.e., if you don't buy all of the memory in the same package there is a ''99% chance that it won't work''. I got memory errors and couldn't install OS. Good price, but is it worth the hastle?

This is some good memory! Never had performance issues and it works seamlessly. At first I had compatibility issues with the EVGA 780i MB, but that was solved by getting a new one without any defects and the PO3 Bios Update. I'd suggest getting this memory for any 780i user to make sure you get the latest board rather than one of the older, possibly defective ones.

This memory is a great deal. Go ahead and get this 2gb of RAM. You wont regret it. As far as voltages go I did not have any problems wit the default voltage but I bumper it up to 2.0v anyways. Corsair suggested max recommended voltage is 2.1.

I installed this on a MSI K9MM-V motherboard. I had stability problems until I turned up the memory voltage to 2.0 volts. It has been rock solid since then. Corsair says the max recommended voltage is 2.1.

Excellent memory. Corsair is consistently the brand I turn to. Solid performance day-in-and-day out in a 24/7/365 usage environment. One caveat: when selecting this memory model, be sure your mobo and CPU fan can accomodate the extended height from the cooling fins. I put this RAM into an MSI ATX mobo with a ThermalTake Big Typhoon fan and it simply didn't fit.

I bought this to go with my D102GGC2 Intel motherboard, and it will not boot with both modules installed. It will boot with either, but never both. After I emailed Corsair, they admitted that instead of running at the 1.8v rating (1.8v is PRINTED on the actual modules by the way), it requires 1.9v instead. If you cannot change your memory voltages in your BIOS setup, buy something else, because these modules won't work. Had to return.

Sweet, sweet memory! I got 2 gigs of this with a bare bones setup, and wasted no time getting 2 more sticks. Literally, I ordered on Wednesday, they were here on Thursday! At first, XP only saw 2.5 gigs, so I installed my long forgotten 64-bit XP. Since then, it's all been GREAT! You'd be foolish to pass Corsair memory up at this price!

It worked... most of the time. If you can get a pair that works without giving you a blue screen of death, that actually posts with both sets of memory, then consider yourself fortunate. I have already gone through two sets of these where one of the pair either prevent the computer from booting or would consistently fail. Be aware it could happen and what the symptoms are.

Holy smokes! Forty bucks for 2G of 800 MHz DDR2 RAM! And the 5-5-5 timings are appropriate for the inexpensive Intel motherboards. With the gigantic heat fins, I don't think these babies are going to overheat. I slapped a pair of these modules in my HTPC, which is all I'm going to need in WinXP Pro. The chips are running at full speed on my Intel P965LT mobo. Fantastic value.

This may not be the smokenest fastest ram out there, but for 40 bucks, trust me, you wont even notice the latency difference. My system just went up three notches with this stuff. My MB will only recognize three gigs unless I run 64 bit, so I'm now maxed out with the 2 gigs I got from Tiger plus the 1 gig I had on there. For a stupid low price. ASUS P5N32-SLI SE DELUXE and it works great. You wont be disappointed with this ram, and the heat sink is a huge plus if your running lots of high powered gear.

I just have a quick question. Do you think that these 2 RAM sticks will work on a Compaq Presario with AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+. Because my CPU clocks in at 2.19 GHz, hopefully i can get it up to at least 3 GHz, so do you think that these 2 RAM chhips can do the job as well as work for this type of CPU?

This memory installed into my Dell Dimension 8400 very easily.I am running a Pentium 4 at 3.00 GHZ and Windows XP with service pack 2. But I think it will work in almost any Dell computer now. It exceeded my expectaions in performance. Not only did going from 1 gig of RAM to 4 Gigs with two of these Corsair memory stick packs (4 individual sticks total)vastly speed up the computers program execution, BUT it also seems to have solved all my former unexpected computer crashes! I am doing video editing and DVD production with Sony Vegas 8 Pro and the program crashed intermitently before I installed this memory. Now with 4 gigs of memory it runs rock solid. Just buy it, it is a great deal and much less expensive than buying a new computer with 4 gigs allready installed.
