Never tried a Coolermaster brand PSU before, but I guess this will be my first time :). This was a replacement for another no-name PSU that died on me recently.No problems so far, and hopefully unlike other reviewers, this won't die on me a few months down the road.Quality seems ok. Not the worst but it's decent for price paid (~$30 after MIR).

It should be against the law to have fans smaller than 120 MM inside of power supplies, and if it were, this particular one would pass with flying colours.

bought this 2 months ago and its still workingpros: cheap when onsale silent doesnt overheatcons: for this price there is no cons for meoverall i would buy again for budget computers

Used this to replace an old Enermax unit that was starting to flake out. I like the black colour. The only thing which may/may not be an issue depending on your computer case is that the cables are kind of short. So far no complaints.

this is the second of these psu's i purchased they get the job done but the fan becomes load after a few months of use, i would recommend as a good value system psu

for $34.99, you can't really complain. Where can you find 500w for $35? :PThe quality is ok. it has 120mm fan, so it doesnt get very loud..

I bought this to replace a 350watt PSU in a HP computer so I could upgrade the video card, had it for a year now, no problems at all.

Great product, had no problems with it at all. I got this to replace my old power supply which was having problems supporting my entire system. This one is quiet and has been able to handle anything I've put in my computer, although I don't do much in the way of over clocking or fancy graphics.This power supply is exactly what I was hoping for.

a decent power supply is the 2nd most important component of a PC. This has LOTS of power & connectors to spare. Decent price for a low-mid-range PC build.Highly recommended!

I've got 2 of these in a low-mid range computer running aa AMD 7750 u 3.0GHz + ATI 4850 512mb. Pretty quiet...never had any issues at all. I wouldn't put it in a high-end system that's for sure but for low midrange system it seems like a good deal at ~45$. Cables length is fine for a mid tower.

I bought this to reblace a PSU from a case that died some time ago. It did the job perfectly and is prety silent. verry sastify up to now and for the price i can't ask for more!

I've been using these in all of my customer builds for about a year now. I haven't had any fail, which is the most important thing IMHO. A few of my customers are using 9800GTs, and these have no problem handling them.

I bought this PSU for a neighbours new computer. I would not recommend this PSU because its cables are very short, and after running it for a few days the fan began to make wierd noises. The only way to stop it was if I tapped the PSU Casing. Hopefully I will be able to RMA it! From now on I will stick with Corsair!

I got this power supply back at January 2009 to replace died Coolermaster Extreme Power 600W. And today (April 25th, 2009) this one died as well, but I have completely new system. Intel e5200, and Gigabyte ep45 mobo, one 8800GT.I think it would be a great PSU, but with that kinda quality I will give it 1 star, because this is second PSU from that same manufacturer died withing 2008-2009 years. I will never buy Coolermaster Extreme Power PSU again.

This Cooler master Power supply makes the perfect job with a Quad, a 8800GTX and 3 SATA HDD. I recommend to most people.

I bought it to replace a old ultra connect psu in my 2nd computer. It has been running constantly for the last 2 months with 8800gts and a old intel cpu. So far it has not caused any problems and has run stable. I recommend this psu for any older computer that is not running the latest hardware.

To all of you going on about how quiet this power supply is, I thought the same until almost a year later, probably actually around 9 months when it got extremely loud. The fan they use in it is extremely sub-par and just seized up. My whisper quiet PC started sounding like an old diesel engine struggling to run. I ended up swapping out the fan for a new one (good bye warranty) and that fixed it of course, but I should never have to to that. Just a warning to everyone, don't get too comfortable with the peace and quiet.

It was a good price for a 500W; I just needed something small to run my server in my dorm room. It’s nice and quite I can't hear it running. It works for what it needs to do; I would buy it again for a similar project.

This power supplies is just perfect i buy this to aliment a p5q pro with a q9550 and geforce 9800gtx+ and it works very very well i recommend to every one. i pay it 60$ and i am very satisfied

Over all for the price its a very good PSU & if you can catch it on special its even better. Im using it as a testing unit and am very happy with the quality for the price you pay.

I bought these surprise special from ncix 39.99$ each. That's a cheap 500w power supply. Compare this to this week, where I needed a cheap power supply and all I could get was a thermaltake 430w for 43$. They are out of stock this week or I would have bought again, even at the non-suprise special, you can price match these to 47$. So yeah, work great, but they are basically oem, so don't expect any stickers, straps or tie downs.

I have this for about a week now and i'm very happy with how quiet it is. Was packaged well and all cable lengths worked well. I fit perfectly into a coolmaster case.

Works great, can barely hear it.I got it during a sale so the price was great.For most people, this power supply would be what they need.
