Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:Loud

Pros:CPU Runs At 18-19degrees at rest. 50 at Load on full settings
Comment:
Excellent cooler. Much more Simnple to install than the H100, especially since you don't need to alter  your case. Its loud but I guess thats the price you have to pay for performance. When I mean loud there is a Constant humming that you can hear more than 10 feet away.Big dffereence then the fans. Overall, for the price and what it does to your CPU its awesome. Would buy again.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:- The fans that come with this product are load as hell- Can't fit really well in an Antec Nine Hundred because the panel can't close. The reason of that is the plastic pin holding the side panel fan.

Pros:- Cool the CPU really well- Easy to install- Works with Intel + AMD

Bought this with:2x: Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120MM Japan Servo Double Ball Bearing Case Fan 1850RPM 28DBA 58.3CFM I replaced the 2 fans that came with the product with the 2 I just I listed. I highly recommend to pair these with 2 new fans especially the one I listed above, it will be worth it trust me.My computer: i7-920, asus p6t.OC: 3750 mhzTemperature before without OC: 55 idle / 90 loadTemperature after with OC : 35 idle / 62 loadI still give the product 5 stars, but if I kept the fan that sold with it, I would have gave 3 stars for noise produced by the 2 fans.

Cons:noisy on max setting

Pros:multiple cooling profiles, dual fans
Comment:
great cooler, only down side is when it is set on the highest cooling profile its pretty loud, but the medium setting provides more then enough cooling for my oc 2600k i 4.8ghz and produces alot led noise.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:- Fins can bend easy, so be careful.- Sometimes feels a little tight twisting the tubes making it a little bit of a worry.

Pros:- Great Cooling Ability- Super Easy to install on LGA2011- Great Performer for Overclocking- Performed very well even with damage done to it from me!
Comment:
I bought this to cool my new i7 3820, on my Asus Sabertooth X79 and it works amazingly! One of the easiest coolers to install on any LGA2011 board, no backplates needed, just screw it on and your set! Unfortunetly during my installation of the cooler an accident occured and a screwdriver was jammed into the fins of the radiator leaving a large hole (Went through about half way). At first I lost hope but nothing appeared to leak and I decided to take a chance. It all worked out fine. I paired this up with some after market Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fans (stock fans are a little loud) and after clocking my i7 3820 to 4.6ghz and running extreme burn and heat tests I never passed 78C Degrees...with a large hole probably only making temperatures a little worse then normal! Highly recommend this product with some after market fans, great for OCing, and seems to have taken nicely to an unfortunate beating!

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:-stock fans are loud-hose is very stiff

Pros:convenient alternative to custom liquid cooling setup. very easy to install
Comment:
Great product especially if it's on sale. First impressions when i turned it on was: WOAH thats loud! stock fans are very loud, i've decided to switch them to noctua nf-12. make sure to bench run the loop for 20 minutes or until air bubbles escape the pump. if your pump is loud, then there's definitely air pockets in there. while the fan control on the pump is a good idea, it's not very accessible because you have to open your case up every time you want to change fan speed. i'm thinking of connecting the fans to a front bay controller instead.

Cons:Unable to remove air bubbles

Pros:Closed system, easy install, Aesthetically pleasing to see
Comment:
It looks awesome when powered on as the cpu heatsink itself has a light that tells the speed of the fans. It comes with two fans that blow a lot of air, although at max speed, they could be heard. You can switch the two fans that come with it with two of your own 120mm preference. Bought it for around 80 bucks, worth it.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:- When fan control setting medium or higher, the fans sound like a jet engine.- Poor instruction manual.

Pros:- Mounting the fan controller was relatively easy on the P8Z68-V Asus motherboard. Didn't have to squeeze my hands in any awkward places like you typically do with large Heatsinks- Solid build quality of the radiator and tubes
Comment:
I ordered this to cool an i7 2600k. The first one had to be RMA'd due to the fan controller not working and one of the fans DOA. NCIX was quick in giving me an RMA number and after a quick trip to their retail location, was able to get a replacement.Without any OC and the fans at the lowest setting, the CPU idles at around 32C. Now that it's been stablized for a while, I think it's time to see what kind of OC range this can handle, while keeping the fans at the lowest speed. If it can't, I may need to look into replacing the fans.Currently I have it mounted as an outake fan and mounted to the back of my old p180 case. There is a lot of negative air pressure in there as these fans move a lot more air. I tried setting them for intake (as recommended by the install docs) but it increased the ambient temperature of my case and I felt my other components would suffer from the intake air being heated as it passed the radiator. Besides, I'm pretty sure the p180 was designed for negative air pressure anyway. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase. Not blown away by it's awesomeness, but happy with it nonetheless.

Cons:Pretty noisy on medium and high settings

Pros:Keeps the CPU nice and coolEasy install (i5 2500k)
Comment:
Cools very well. Only issue is that that stock fans are pretty loud. It's almost unbearable on the medium setting, and the highest setting sounds like a turbine engine revving up.I recommend replacing the stock fans.

Cons:nothing at the moment.

Pros:Works great, cool my overclocked core i5 2500k perfectly.
Comment:
I bought this heatsink for performance. To be able to overclock without compromise or almost. I am very satisfied with the performance. This is a good product. I read a lot of criticism concerning malfunctions and other problems. But so far, everything is in order. With 5 year warranty, if ever something happened, I tell myself at least I will have the opportunity to exchange it. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. I must also say that its leaves much more room inside my haf 922 as the old air cooling I had.

I got the H80 to replace my NH-D14 running 3 x cooler master r4 120mm red led fans on my test bench. I was looking for a cpu cooler that would allow me better access to my motherboard and ram slots. I swapped out the stock corsair fans, with 2 enermax T.B. silence 120mm 900rpm fans. The Cpu is running cool and quite now. I highly recommend this cooler, but suggest to change out the stock fans if noise is a issue to you. Great Buy.

Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80 High Performance CPU Cooler System LGA775 1366 1156 1155 AM2 AM3
Cons:What was not broken on this unit? (No visible damage from shipping.) 1. One of the two pins in the 4-Pin molex for power was poorly installed/damaged, causing the unit's pump fail to cycle, powering down the system and reinserting the pin did power up the unit, but the pin was not secure.2. When pump was under power, the Push Button Control did not respond, even thought the 3-speed lights indicated switching.3. Unit eventually failed to respond and showed "N/A" in BIOS4. Flimsy pump unit cover, compared to the H60

Pros:Aesthetics, compared to the competition (at the time of writing), subjective opinion only, of course.
Comment:
As much as I like the aesthetics of Corsair's H60/H80/H100 cooling units, as well as support CoolIT, neither company will be getting any of my future money. Though, I know that it is just my limited experience, the Corsair/CoolIT track record in my books is poor at best, and I don't wish to be their guinee pig anymore. Hopefully the RMA replacement will fair a LOT better.

Cons:On medium setting the cooling increases, but so does the noise. On high setting, it sounds like a turbine engine spooling up.Wish there was some kind of dust filter incorporated for the intake.

Pros:Nice tidy setupLooks nice in my caseCools very well for its sizeOn the Low setting it is pretty quietOverall fit and finish is excellentComes with legendary Corsair customer supportEverything you need to install it, is inside the box.
Comment:
It was easy and straight forward to install, no real tricks to it (I don't know about AMD install though). I have an i5 2500k OC'd at 4.6GHz and this cooler is more than capable of keeping it cool.Only having owned this cooler for a short period of time, I would buy it again. Don't forget Corsair's customer support is top notch so you won't have to worry about that either.

Cons:Not too many cons i can think of. The fans that came with the unit are a little louder that my fractal design fans, but my fractal design fans are silent.

Pros:Functions very wellOnly runs as fast as it needs toCpu is stable at 21 CFITS WITH MY 4x4GB VENGEANCE RAM!!!
Comment:
This unit is everything I had hoped for. I am very pleased with all of my corsair products. I put this on my first build ever, and all went well. The pump is silent, the fans are controlled by my motherboard and the pump. Instalation went smoothly, I had originally plugged the pump into the wrong fan pins on the motherboard, where it still worked, but I got a CPU fan Error on startup. changed it to my CPU_FAN pins on my MB, and it took charge from there on. It is great that this unit leaves all 4 of my DIMM slots free, while keeping my cpu as cold or colder than room temp.the fans and radiator take up a little bit of space at the back of my case, but as long as you plug what you need to into the motherboard before screwing everything in, it should not be a problem. I am a satisfied customer.

This is the second corsair hydro purchase. 1st was an H70 now the H80. They easily keep top cpu's super cool. i5 and i7 both overclocked easily to 4.4ghz with these and do not break a sweat. I install blowing out of the case since it a better solution if you afford the proper airflow into your case. Combined with modern cases (I use HAF) this is the best cooler I've encountered in 20 years building PC's. Easily recognizable that the engineers are in control of Corsair and their product demonstrate that.

Cons:- VERY noisy at highest setting- Tubing is stiff and hard to manipulate

Pros:- Easy to install- Good performance for the price

This is my first experience with a water cooler and a Corsair product. I bought this water cooler on boxing day for ($79) which seemed to be a good price as I was prepared to spend about $100-$120.Installation was simple; all I needed was a screwdriver. Once installed, I realized that I should have installed the fans in the opposite way to make it work with the airflow of my system. So instead of switching them back, I switched the ones on the front of my case and reversed the airflow. I think Corsair suggest to install the water cooler fans as an intake because sucking in cooler air makes their product more efficient. In reality, hot air goes up and since the water cooler fans are located at the top of the case, it'd make more sense to set it as an exhaust. I don't think this would change much, but might as well make the dynamics of air movement work for you.My CPU's (i7 2600K) temperature is now about 29C at idle. Went up to 45C playing BF3 (1080p - max settings), so this thing definitely works. The fans provided by Corsair are quite powerful. But with great power comes a lot of noise... At the lowest setting, the water cooler almost silent. Second one is tolerable, but at the highest, it feels like my computer is about to take off. I watched a movie with my gf tonight (10ft away from the computer) and she was wondering if it was gonna blow up. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed, I'll have to figure something out. Perhaps get more quiet fans?

Cons:NOISY at anything other than the lowest setting Will have to get other fans if I want to ovevrclock

Pros:Keeps the processor nice and cool, even at full load.
Comment:
Got this to go with my new LGA 2011 build. Wanted either Antec 920 or a Noctua NH-D14, but they either weren't in or weren't ready for SBE at the time. Got this PM'd to 86.99 so the price was good and it does keep the chip cool. However at anything other than low setting, it sounds like a RC plane at take off, and on high setting it's really annoying. Pump is ok, but the fans are enough to drive you out of the room. Will be getting other fans shortly, before trying any kind of Overclocking

Cons:Gets loud on "balanced" fan setting. A bit of a pain to install due to the stiffness of the tubing.

Pros:Good temps. No worries about leaking or low coolant levels.
Comment:
Great performing product overall. Temps are 4 to 5 degrees cooler on average compared to my old Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer. The H80 wasn't easy to install due to it's stiff tubing, you need to watch the pump/block doesn't smack around too much while trying to mount the 120mm fan to the case with long bolts through to the rad..... it would be better to have 3 hands.

This cooler exceeded my expectations. I got my amd x6 1100t overclocked to 4.2 ghz from stock 3.3 ghz with the stock cooler and was getting over 70 degree after prime. With this cooler I am not even breaking 55 degrees after one hour of prime. My idle temps are 28 and after playing battlefield3 it's 47 degrees.... Very impressive. I am running my vcore at 1.52 volts in a asus 990fx mb with 8 gb ram.My oc set up is 17.5x240, pcie at 100, ram at 1279 MHz and vcore at 1.52 with NB at 1.162 volts. Comment:
Bought this for a new bulldozer build and am planning some overclocking, have only used lowest setting so far and it works great and is really quiet.Had to install rear fan outside of case as hoses seemed to be bending at too tight a curve due to proximity of cpu, this was a problem as Lian Li uses rubber grommets for fan mounting which made the supplied screws too short, but a quick trip to Home Depot solved the problem. Installation issues aside, this is working great so far.
