I will replace the stock fans with Noctua ones shortly. They sound like jet engines!Otherwise, this cooler is great (even over the CoolIt). Idle temps for a 2600K are below 40 C and LinPack temps are under 61 C. I haven't tried overclocking yet. |

Well I got it on sale for around $90 when it came out on the market. My CPU the AMD Phenom II X6 Thuban overclocked to 4.0GHz idles around the mid 20's and maxes out at 60 degrees which is pretty darn imressive! Love how it's maintenance free and it's also under warranty. Instead of the stock fans I replaced them with Noctua 120mm's but you'll need extra spacers/washers to get them to fit one fan. |
Upgraded from a stock air cooler. All I can say is bang for buck. I idle at 30 C and havnt gone over 50 C playing games like Bad company 2 on High or WItcher 2 on High. Good pick up for anyone looking for a cheaper water cooling solution.Thanks NCIX!!
